Located less than 1 mile from the beautiful Canyon Lake Park and just 23 Miles to Mount Rushmore, you are centrally located near all of the amazing activities the Black Hills has to offer. This home is fully stocked with all of your travel needs such as toiletries, kitchen necessities, shuffle board, board games, a 2 car garage, and more! Relax in the beautiful back yard on the hammock or around the firepit. You will not want to leave this home away from home.

Was flat amazed at property. I will use again house and yard were PERFECT imo. Loved cooking in kitchen and to have items like spices available was top notch. I cleaned up when left cause truly loved the few days we stayed there

Great location

We rented this property for our family getaway to visit Mt Rushmore, Badlands & Custer. It was in a nice central location. The property itself is in a quiet neighborhood with a peaceful backyard. The house was just as appeared in the pictures. Communication was easy with a detail about the stay in a welcome book. The host offered lots of complimentary essentials already inside- which was a first for us and much appreciated. I would definitely recommend staying here.

Perfect Stay

This house was perfect for our family and sight seeing in the Black Hills. The house was extremely clean and we loved the back yard. We saw deer and turkeys from the back deck. The host were also excellent! We would definitely stay here again!

Great Location

We really enjoyed staying at this property. It was the perfect location for our family trip to South Dakota. We especially enjoyed all of the wildlife in the backyard each morning. It was the perfect way to start our day!

The kitchen was good except the directions to trash bags were not right. They also could have had better textiles. The throws were pretty beat up, and the towels had several worn areas. No extra bedding at all and it was chilly. I’d say out of 100 I’d give it an 85. Pretty pretty place the linens did not match the beauty of the place.

Great house and property!

We came from Illinois and spent a week at this house for a competition. It was very convenient to get to the Monument where the comp was held and to all other stores, resturants, etc. It was also between a lot of attractions. The house was the perfect size for 4 adults and 3 kids. It was clean, the beds were comfortable, and the kitchen had everything we could possibly need. The backyard was perfect too and we saw deer almost every morning and turkeys one morning too. We would definitely stay again if we ever go back to S.D.

Fantastic Extended Stay Vacation House

My wife and I spent (6) weeks here while we escaped the Florida heat and explored the Rapid City area. This is a very nice house with a beautiful backyard in quiet neighborhood. Great location and nicely decorated home in Rapid City!

My family had a lovely stay at this clean and super cute property. All of the communication with Athena was clear and timely. We loved the space for its great communal areas, huge semi-private yard, and overall quiet. The proximity to downtown Rapid City and the tourist attractions (Mt. Rushmore, Crazy Horse) was also nice.

Great stay!

The house was comfortable and we had everything we needed. The back yard was the best and we all enjoyed spending time on a great deck with a large fenced yard, wonderful for kids and our small dog. We had deer that would lay in the yard next door and just watch as we enjoyed the deck. Our hosts were very helpful and responded quickly to any question we had. Would absolutely recommend!

Great Home

Our family really enjoyed the property and location. Very private and quiet neighborhood near city services yet the property felt like we were in the country side. We had wildlife as birds, elk, deer and rabbits every day all around us. All basic amenities were offered and well stocked. Very well maintained and would recommend to anyone. Definitely would stay again.

Awesome house and manager!

My wife, our two kids and my parents all stayed here for six nights and loved it. The house was clean and very nice. We loved watching the deer and turkey from the deck as we enjoyed BBQing. The property owners were super awesome and responsive, making the experience that much better. We will absolutely plan on staying here again as it’s centrally located to everything and a great space to relax!

*BEWARE OF THE MOLD SMELL! *Old house with renovation

The bedding smelled like mold. The house was not clean, dust and cat hair on the floors and furniture. It’s smelled moldy and damp in the house. My sister had to leave after one night and go home because her asthma was bad from the mold. The back yard is beautiful. House is in an established older neighborhood which is nice

First time in South Dakota

Very nice and clean house. New appliances. Quiet and nice neighborhood. Kids really enjoyed seeing deers in the backyard and neighbors front yard. Overall, it was a wonderful experience.

SD vacation base

We had a fantastic week at this house for our vacation and would definitely stay again if we’re back in town. Property was very clean and in great condition, owners very nice and respond quickly to any questions. It’s pet friendly and we brought our mini bernedoodle puppy with and the fenced backyard was perfect for her to get some exercise in off leash along with the kids. Despite being a pet friendly house there were no issues for our kids who do have some allergies to dogs that shed a lot. Neighborhood seemed safe as well.

Wow!

The photos of this rental don’t do it justice. Not only were the owners more than accommodating but the property is homey, spotless, has everything one could want/need for a place to stay during a vacation. There is so much thought out into every inch of this home. The location is so close to everything and the neighborhood is so cute. We even saw deer in our front yard one evening! I wish I could give this property more than 5 stars! We look forward to coming back. Thank You! Thank You!

Great home away from home!

We found this home to be very welcoming. The owners have gone out of their way to provide little extra things that not all places provide ( laundry detergent, toiletries, condiments, et.). The communication was excellent and check- in and out went very smoothly! We walked around the neighborhood and a near by trail. We were surprised to see deer nearly nightly and even a fox one evening. The pizza restaurant recommended in the book left for guests was excellent. I wouldn’t hesitate to stay there again. It’s close enough to drive to many of the “must sees” in the area. We visited Mount Rushmore, The Badlands and Custer Park. We also got in a couple of shuffle board games one evening. Thanks for sharing your home with us.

Perfect for two couples

We stayed with my sister and brother-in-law. It worked out great as they used the downstairs bath for showers and getting ready and we used the upstairs. The kitchen was great for getting anything prepared as was the deck and bbq. We brought our small dog which was perfectly safe and confined in a fenced in backyard. Overall we all agreed this house was perfect for us and we all felt very comfortable. Would definitely come back here on a next visit. The added bonus was there are deers , bucks and wild turkeys to see up on the hill behind the yard. So cool. House was stocked with everything we needed which made our stay very convenient.
