Unit#208 is a beautiful 1 bedroom, 2 bath condo that has a generously sized living room equipped with a sofa bed with a 5” memory foam topper for 2 additional guest. This beautiful condo is wonderfully furnished & has a King Sized bed in the Bedroom.

Spacious & very nice unit!!!

We really enjoyed this property. It’s very convenient to all the action on Alii Drive, but also very quiet at night. We loved the lanai, the bed was comfortable & we just truly loved the space!

Easy walk to dining and shopping

Facilities were clean and well equipped for our stay. Laundry, dishwasher and full sized refrigerator. Pool was clean and available every day.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We walked in and WOW!!! What a beautiful place, and the bed was so comfortable. The kitchen was the perfect size also and it had everything we needed. We had a view of the swimming pool so we sat out on the lanai and enjoyed our coffee. Some suggestions I would like to make, the locked boxes upon check in should be arranged in numerical order and better marked, it was a little cumbersome searching for our room number. Next I would make brighter signage with the step downs going to the parking lot, it’s quite a step down .

Well rounded and great ambiance little condominium.

My family and I were very pleased with the amenities of the condominium. They have all the things we need, such as kitchen utensils, toiletries, linens, and cleaning materials. The ambiance is quiet, clean, and homey. The condominium is also centrally located and just walking distance of a restaurant and a little shopping mall. Overall, we were delighted to stay in this condominium.

Office area was great if you have to work. Appreciate the communication and warm welcome.

The location is excellent and we had stayed in the building before. It was clean and it was nice to have air conditioning. Also nice to have a second bathroon. Washer/dryer worked well and the stove is brand new. We didn't use the dishwasher or the large TV. Internet was good. It seems like the pictures on VRBO were taken quite a while ago. The unit is a little tired looking and could use a little paint and some small repairs. There was only one wine glass in the unit and no kettle or teapot. We used a saucepan for hot water. Pods for the dishwasher and some for the washing machine were a nice touch.

Right in town and across the street to the water! Easy walking to a variety of restaurants and shops. The Condo itself was spacious and comfortable - nice sized pool with little use! We could sit at the pool and hear the waves across the street. Beaches were easily drivable.A little confusing finding the keys etc for entry, but a nice resident showed us the ropes and after that, no problems.

Great Location in the heart of Kona!

We’re a couple who enjoys some of what Kona offers as well as the beaches up the Kohala Coast and this condo met our needs perfectly! We had an easily accessible, dedicated parking spot for our rental car. When we were hanging out in Kona we didn’t need our car because the condo is centrally located within walking distance to all the things we enjoy. In one indirection you can walk 1 block to the farmer’s market and 1 block the other way is Coconut Grove with numerous restaurants, bars and even an ABC convenience store. The condo has a fully equipped kitchen, a comfortable king size bed, all the beach things you might need (chairs, cooler, umbrella, snorkeling gear) and an in-unit washer and dryer. The condos have a nice pool available for use until 9pm and the condo has a peak a boo view of the ocean. We will be back!

We really enjoyed stay ing here. Really good location. Put us in the middle of the action on Ali'i Drive. Many things in easy walking distance. Balcony with nice view of the pool and partial view of Ali'i drive. You could hear the ocean waves. Liked the parking arrangements, two bathrooms, washer/ dryer, nice big living room and dining room. Kitchen was small, a little strange floor plan given the available square footage of the unit. But for us it worked just fine. We appreciated the complimentary coffee, laundry detergent, etc. All in all, we would stay here again. Could improve the check in instructions, like how to unload your luggage upon arrival, and giving us a hint as to how to find the lockbox. That was a game of "Wheres Waldo". Liked the

Building is nicely located for downtown Kailua. Building and apartment are worn. Sofa bed mattress was terrible. Our son slept on the sofa. Master Bath light didn't work. Squeaky hinges wakened sleeping son. No coffee filters. Unclear trash/recycle instructions. No trash bags. Nice looking pool. Next time I would stay somewhere else in Kailua-Kona.

I was staying here with my sister, so we basically had to be together at all times or if one of us left, the other couldn’t without some coordination with getting back into the building. They really should give two building keys AND two unit keys. Also, the pull our sofa bed is so worn and uncomfortable that you cannot sleep on it. My sister had to just sleep on the couch. Everything else about the unit was great.

Best Downtown Kona Stay!!!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Our family of 4 stayed in #208 from July 9-17th. We have stayed at neighboring condos downtown and this is by far the best one! Clean, well equipped with everything you need for a Hawaii stay and so spacious! The AC works perfectly, there's plenty of sleeping space, an incredibly comfortable recliner and the washer and dryer in the unit is so convenient. Did I mention that there are two bathrooms?!? The lanai is lovely and you can hear the ocean waves crashing while overlooking the huge pool. A short elevator ride lets you out onto Alii Dr. To our left is Lava Java our favorite breakfast spot and Gecko Girls shave ice that is a great end to a hot day and you can watch people play volleyball. Walk to the right and visit the farmers market for fresh fruit and veggies and of course the other downtown shops. The condos location is perfect to walk to all the shops or even walk to King Kam beach as parking is limited and you have to pay for parking everywhere downtown. This is our first time staying at the Kona Alii, but our third time renting a place with Knutson & Associates. They are communicative, informative, and their rentals are clean! We are so appreciative that they were able to accommodate a late checkout for us. We don't bother with VRBO or Airbnb when visiting Kona, Knutson & Associates is reasonably priced and they don't tack on outrageous fees. We will continue to rent from their available rentals in the future because they have exceeded our expectations each time and make our time in Kona easy, convenient and memorable!

I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Kona Alii building is well situated to downtown Kona. It feels safe and secure. The apartment is somewhat worn and several items didn't work. Here's a punch list for Knutson Management:1. Master bath light doesn't work.2. No trash bags.3. No obvious trash/recycle instructions. I had to go hunting for info. (I could have missed it, but it should also be listed in the "entering the unit" instructions AND near the trash can.)4. No coffee filters for the coffee maker. Really?5. Fold out sofa mattress was terrible! Our son slept on the sofa instead. 6. Broken/missing blinds.7. Hinges need oiled! (esp. MBr and common bathroom). Very noisy when others are sleeping.8. Cranky neighbor next door (not Knutson's issue).I would have called to complain/ask questions, but we checked in late on a Friday night and were out vacationing Saturday day. The super asked for emergencies only during quiet hours. It was well situated for the downtown, mostly functional and safe. The pool looked nice, but we didn't use it. Next time I would try staying somewhere else in Kailua-Kona.
