WELCOME to our beautiful Kailua Village Condo located in the heart of Kailua-Kona, Hawaii. Lovely Kamakahonu beach (perfect beach for relaxing the day away), the historic Ahuena Heiau sacred area, the Kailua pier and the Ironman swim start are an easy walk from the condo. The Kona Farmers Market (open Wed. – Sun. 7 am – 4 pm) is located 2 blocks from your front door. Make a delicious fresh fruit tropical salad daily! Fruits, vegetables, coffee, jewelry and a treasure trove of gift items also available.

Our air-conditioned 6th floor condo makes for the best full ocean views in the complex. You can watch the whales jump and dolphins spinning in Kailua Bay. Enjoy an amazing sunset from your lanai every night! It's a short walk to the eclectic mix of shops and restaurants in the village. The condo is tastefully decorated with a traditional Hawaiian ambiance designed to make you feel like your "Home away from Home". It has a fully equipped kitchen if you choose to “stay in”, and amenities such as beach chairs and beach towels for your outings. The bedroom is furnished with a foam mattress topped king size bed that makes for a comfortable night's sleep and there is more than adequate storage for your belongings. Also included is complementary Wi-Fi, a private complex swimming pool with a community barbeque, secure elevators, an assigned parking place and a laundry room on the ground level.

The Village is quaint, with lots of charm and great shopping right along the water's edge. Some of the activities you will find in the Village and nearby are beaches, luau's, farmer's markets, art galleries, jewelry shops, restaurants, hiking, boating, snorkeling, scuba diving, paddle boarding, kayaking, boogie boarding, parasailing and deep sea fishing…just about every water sport you can think of! There are also several great golf courses nearby. There is much to do to stay active, or you can relax and just lounge on the beach or the lanai – the opportunities for fun are endless in Kona!

Second time staying here, too bad I wasn’t able to book through Kona beach properties directly to avoid Vrbo 200.00 junk fee. The condo needs a good cleaning, a/c doesn’t work well. The clock in kitchen needs a battery, it’s not working. Only one roll of toilet paper for a nine day stay. We won’t stay here again!

Nice condo, good location

Great location and view of the bay. Decor and furnishings were just slightly outdated, but perfectly fine for our needs.

Great location

The place is spacious with great view of the ocean. Location wise it's close to walk to restaurants and the ocean to watch the sunset. Easy drives to beaches and golf courses. Kitchen is fully equipped but could use some of the pans to be replaced. There's a pull out couch in living room and bed is comfy. Decor is a little dated but comfortable. There are beach chairs (I used one but it did not work well, could use some Costco replacements), lots of towels for beach to use, even a few goggles in the hall closet as well as a small cooler (we did not use). Laundry mat on 1st floor was helpful, uses an app or else quarters (quarters are easier). If you have disabilities, be aware that after going to the 6th floor, there are about 5 more stairs you'll need to go up. You're in Kona to get out and not stay in the place the whole time, so take advantage. One parking space was easy. Property Manager was responsive. On site manager was helpful. Lockbox easy to use to gain access to condo.

Kona oceanview

Well supplied condo and pleasant view from lanai. It did, tho, look down on buildings and further on, some of the surf. Great location in downtown Kona near shops, restaurants, and markets. We enjoyed our stay.

Terrific location

The location could not be better, short, less than 5 minutes, walk to town, great views of the ocean and quiet. You can just park and enjoy Kona. The condo itself is clean and well equipped. Would definitely stay here again.

Old person hawaii

The property was fabulous. Location was wonderful. If you want a place that is walkable to all the restaurants and bars downtown. This is the place. When I say old person Hawaii I mean that in a very good way. Food was very good. Kona very laid back and relaxing.

A great view

Our stay at the Kailua Village was great. The view was amazing. The only issue was the noise from the street, but other than that it was comfortable and really centrally located.

Great harbor view

Property was somewhat dated but pretty well maintained. Located in an area requiring little driving with access to most things within walking distance. This 6th floor unit has a beautiful view of the ocean and harbor.

Great location

Condo is close to stores and restaurants. Great view. Market just down the street. Bed did give us sore backs and it could use a “deep” clean or freshen up. But it is Hawaii so we made it work. Loved watching the whales and dolphins from the lanai.

Beautiful View BUT….

The good: Incredible view and great location, clean and comfortable bed, well equipped kitchen The bad: Condo is very dated and needs significant upgrading. Fridge and stove are rusted, furniture old and uncomfortable. It was acceptable because it was clean and the view and location were so good but I wouldn’t stay here again unless it was upgraded and increasing the cost would be worth it in our view.

Great Location, but poor windows sound isolation

The condo is in an old building, but everything is clean and in good conditions, so no problem at all. We had 3 small technical issues during our stay, but all of them were fixed/replaced within very short time. Perfect service! The location is great, you have all that you need within walking distance. We stayed there for the Ironman World Championsship and the condo was a perfect place, because really close to the race venue. There is also a lot of beach stuff available which made it really comfortable for us and we had a great time relaxing on the beach. There is only one negative point which I like to mention and this is the noise isolation of the windows which is near to Zero. The windows are glass lamellar and even if they are closed you hear everything from outside. The neighbor playing drums and xylophone which she did nearly every day in the morning, the traffic noise, the noise from the construction area nearby, but also the positive sound of the ocean waves. Maybe this kind of windows are common for this area and everybody knows the poor sound isolation, but I liked to point it out here. In total I can really recommend this condo and we enjoyed our time in Kona.

Great place

Perfect location, super easy to walk to a ton of places, had everything you need for a comfortable and easy stay in Kona. Staff was super friendly, called multiple times just to check on how our stay was going and to make sure we didn’t have any questions, would definitely stay again.

Trip to Kona

This condo was very cozy. Tropical decor pretty . A very homey feel. It was an older condo but has been well taken care of. Beautiful view.. We would stay there again.😄 A short walk to downtown area.

Unbeatable view

The property was very clean and had wonderful directions, notes to guide any guest with questions. We appreciated the folder with safety precautions and property rules. The AC is in the living room area so the bedroom area could get a little warm but the fan worked fine for us. Overall the AC cooled the whole unit just fine. The bed was comfy and overall was a very pleasant stay watching the sunset every night.

Location, location

Enjoyed our two week plus stay! Location was amazing but be prepared for a lot of traffic noise. Walking distance to all the Kona action! Perfect! Furniture is unfortunately very “tired” and not comfortable for sitting or dining. With the amazing view we enjoyed sitting and watching the boats/dolphins/whales and sunsets so the comfort of doing so was lacking! Kitchen was well stocked. Pillows on bed (from a health perspective) should be replaced asap, they are very soiled! Overall a great stay and experience!

Location, location, location!

My husband and I enjoyed our 2 week stay at this 1 bedroom unit in Kailua Village. We found this location optimal for exploring the whole island. Conveniently located centrally on the west coast for drives both north and south, and easy access to the saddle road to venture to Hilo and other destinations east. The location is within a quick walk to the harbour front in Kona with so many great restaurants and shops. We appreciated the beach gear provided! Beautiful views from the lanai, where we spent most of our time at the unit.

Great View

The view is fantastic. The interior furniture is in bad shape, needs repairs, updating/replacement....but the view overcomes the negatives. Matress on bed was so hard that we tried using the fold out couch, but that didn;t work eeither. Rust on refrig handle, 2 chairs came apart while sitting on them, so couldn't use them for the 2 weeks. But, did I meantion the view?
