The unknown is what is hard to understand and communicate

If it wasn't for the fact that the actual owner "Dave" was reachable I would have been lost for many questions I had during our stay. Everything from the A/C going out and having a Maintenance guy out to repair, (with a $10 tip) to a kitchen faucet breaking off 3 times to a towel rack in the bathroom breaking off 3 times to a Television with the hardest way to turn off and on and try and change a channel without losning what you had. On a few occassional we had to turn it off the bedroom TV and watch in the living rooom, where it was better but far from having a favorable night of TV. I was able to contact the owner Dave and he helped us out but he was not always available. A dangerous tub, let me tell you about that.

A major hiccup, but salvaged the trip

Let me start by saying that the property that we stayed in was nice. Well appointed, nice design and plenty of space for my husband and I on this five day, 4 night trip. There is parking in an attached parking garage and some street parking available as well. There was a well put together guide available to help us acclimate to the area and places to go for food, coffee, activities, etc. There was also a welcome basket with snacks and a few bottles of water to get us started. It's a condo in a somewhat busy building, with a very nice roof top area that has cabanas, a grill area, a pool, hot tub and several sitting areas to relax and chill. There is also a really nice and well equipped gym, as well as a community room that serves coffee, beer and wine (though they were all empty when we went up). The location is good and in walking distances to Las Olas Blvd, a fairly quick drive to the beach and other sites. The reason for the 3 stars is this, this isn't the property that I booked. After realizing this and reaching out to the hostess, Cee, she told me that there had been some issue with the property that I booked and they had to switch buildings, but forgot to notify me prior to my arrival. She apologized and offered a refund if we wanted to find some place else to stay, but finding a decent play to stay that didn't cost $$$$ at that point was impossible. She did refund one night anyway because of the circumstances. Like I said, the property we ended up staying in was nice. It just wasn't what we booked and didn't have the outdoor space attached to the unit or the view, as we thought would be the case.

Fabulous Condo

This was a fabulous condo, clean and loved the treats from the owner. You won’t be disappointed if you like being in the downtown area. Many local eats nears by and supermarket about 5 minutes drive away. Thank you Dave and Cece for making this vacation awesome for me and my mom.

We enjoyed our stay here and found everything we needed. Loved that we were by the water and restaurants. We walked all around and the weather was great.

Views and Convenience

The location and apartment building were top notch. We walked everywhere and otherwise took the Water Taxi and Water Trolley. Las Olas Blvd has shopping and amazing food. 10 min Lyft to the Ft. Lauderdale beach (which we didn’t enjoy but we are spoiled with our Jersey Shore.) i was extremely disappointed in the pull out couch. We needed that bed. My expectations are low of sofa beds but this was unacceptable. The management added amazing, rapid bandaids to the issue such as a bed topper but after 3 of 6 nights, even that wasn’t covering up the destroyed mattress and possible structure issues (it was just me sleeping in it). There were other, quite a few of issues one due to the cleaning crew the others from the prior tenants that did some serious damage. They broke blinds which weren’t repaired PTA so light was shining through. The balcony is huge and has an amazing view to the left and in the distance. The gym was state of the art and accessible. The pool and spa decks perfect. So many positives but keep in mind, the bells for the bridges to allow boats through start at day break, a cargo train runs intermittent 24/7 and there are bars/clubs in ear shot all with the doors shut so just be mindful of what you are looking for and your expectations. I would absolutely book again as long as I were guaranteed that the sofa bed is new with a functional mattress.

Great location with great amenities

We really enjoyed our stay at Dave’s property. All of the building staff was beyond accommodating. The room was clean and exactly as pictured. There are some nice homey touches that made our stay really comfortable. The pool and gym area is really nice as well! Locating was amazing. We were able to walk to some coffee shops and restaurants, as well as to the water taxi pickup location.

Beyond Perfection

First of all the host, David, was absolutely amazing! He went above and beyond to make our experience wonderful and kept an open line of communication before and during our trip. The property location was absolutely beautiful and the unit itself was exactly as described and pictured. It was aesthetically pleasing, clean, and well stocked with everything we needed. I have nothing negative to say about David's place and we hope to stay again in the future!

Great value; great location

Overall very pleased with the value of this location. Manager (Dave) was very helpful, and extremely responsive. Very much appreciate his prompt communications. A few minor issues were resolved quickly and to our satisfaction.

Everything about the apartment was great!

Great apartment... great location right on New River and walking distance to Las Olas strip. Pool was relaxing along with the infinity hot pool. Owner was more than responsive I'd rent again in a heartbeat!
