The houses were even better than expected from the photos. Very spacious and comfortable. The pool was perfect for the kids. Crabbing off the dock was an unexpected surprise. They even had a steam pot to cook them. The outdoor tables were perfect for eating them.The area is quite but there is plenty to see and do.Lori was a great hosts.

We had a great time at Magnolia Shores. The property is really family friendly and there is something for all ages to enjoy. It is obvious that Lori takes a lot of pride in maintaining the grounds and being able to enjoy what was ripe in the vegetable garden was an extra bonus. We had a minor issue with the Bunk beds, but I have no doubt that it will be taken care of right away as they were very responsive the few times we needed assistance.

What a wonderful place with awesome hosts. Couldn't ask for better place for a lovely family vacation. So much to do with everything you can think of to go along with the house, pool, and bay. House is clean, property grounds are well kept. So many extras like games, pool table, dart board, swimming accessories, outside grill and smoker, crab pots, lots of outdoor seating, the list just goes on! Hosts are always trying to add things to make for a better stay. Thank you Lori and Tom!

Great family retreat

Magnolia is a beautiful property for a multi-generational getaway. The river is at your back door and the pool is a great addition to the property to cool off after spending hours in the river.

Nice place

The owners were very accommodating and helpful with different things that came up while we were there. They let us use the crab pots and we had a feast by the end of the week. Overall very happy with our stay.

Great Place for Family Getaway

My family had a wonderful time here! There was plenty of space to accommodate all 9 of us. Loved the view, having access to kayaks, paddle boards and of course the pool. Lori and Tom were great. Responded promptly to any questions we had and an overall sweet couple/hosts.

Great House!

We had a great stay. The home was spacious for our large group. The house had so much to do. We especially enjoyed the pool. We also enjoyed the kayaks and conoes as well as the yard games. The hummingbirds were a treat!

This property served our needs very well. We had people aged 6 months to almost 91 years old and everybody enjoyed themselves. Plenty of space to be together or slip away for a nap. The owners were available and helpful whenever they were needed (not to mention friendly and generous with their hospitality - allowing us to pick some garden produce!). Highly recommend.

Family vacation

The property was the perfect fit for our 12 person extended family. The eight bedrooms spread over 2 adjacent properties with a amazing swimming pool between the two houses provided our family enough room for everyone. We enjoyed crab picking and canoeing. The secluded location is perfect for a family wanting to get away from it all.

Great week at Magnolia Shores!

My family and I had a great week at Magnolia Shores. Tom and Lori were very helpful and went out of their way to make sure everything was perfect. The house was spotless and had plenty to keep all ages busy. The use of kayaks, canoe, and the dock were great, and the pool was amazing!

Magnolia Shores was just the relaxing vacation we were looking for.

Loved the pool, fresh crabs and use of the kayaks. This was a great place to kick back and relax. The house was clean and well stocked. Views from the deck were peaceful. The kids enjoyed the outdoor games and the pool table. The crab traps were a nice touch and had the freshest crabs I have every ate. Lori the owner was very helpful.

Friends Annual Mahjong 🀄️ Get Together

Beautiful location . Peaceful & so relaxing ! Enjoyed drinking coffee in the balcony The salt water pool is refreshing ! Perfectly appointed home for families with plenty to do at property with kayaks, lovely pool, 2 outdoor decks overlooking water, pool table, darts, with hockey, pool toys!! Relaxing

Very relaxing. Quiet cove was a perfect spot to keep our boat for day excursions on the bay. The dock was well built and the water was deep enough to safely enter end exit. The view from the upper deck was great and there were fans overhead and shades to help with the hot evenings.

Can’t wait to come back!!

We had an amazing time. The houses were beautiful and clean. The pool was so relaxing. Went kayaking and canoeing for the first time and had a blast. Caught so many crabs we took over 3 Dozen home after eating them for a night. Lori and Tom are amazing people and everyone had such a great time we are planning on coming back again and again.

Great stay

The home and location are beautiful. We loved reading on the dock and swimming in the heated pool. The hosts live next door and are very hands on. They came over to check on us when we sent a question about check out. We had a great time and hope to be back soon! Note - the pool does not have a fence so might not be the best spot for families with toddlers

This place was perfect for our family vacation. It was so secluded! The views were amazing, the pool was perfect, and the house was clean and exactly as described. Lori was so sweet and was available for any questions! There are tons of games and outside things to do and we caught plenty of fish and crabs off the dock. The one day that was rainy we took a little trip to the compass complex to do a ropes course, arcade and wall climbing with the kids. There is also a movie theater there with deals on Tuesdays. I don’t recommend the restaurant there as the food was just ok.

A Wonderful Recharge

Our whole family loved our time recharging away from the business of our every day. We were able to relax, recharge and enjoy time together. The house had everything we needed to enjoy time in the water (pool & kayak/canoe accessories, etc.). The yard was filled with actives for all ages. Plenty of space for all of us. Our hosts welcomed us in and made sure everything was as needed.

Amazing Vacation!

Our large extended family just returned from a wonderful stay at this property! The houses were clean, well stocked, and very spacious! We enjoyed fishing from the dock, using the canoes and kayaks and the pool! There were plenty of pool, outdoor games and life vests for everyone included. Lori and Tom were very communicative and helpful during our stay. Lori came each morning to clean the pool, and most of us were still sleeping and it did not interrupt us in the least. We look forward to returning again!

Peace and quiet

This property was exactly what my husband and I wanted. Peace and quiet on the water. The house is lovely. The linens and towels are fantastic. Lori met us when we pulled in the driveway. She is friendly and accessible but we didn't need anything. Everything was in the house and she even made brownies for us.

Highly recommend

This was our second year vacationing at this property. The Owner does a good job...very responsive. Plenty of pool toys, grills, cooking utensils for all grills, a crab pot. Crabbing is great. Many fun inside games (our week was very hot). Takes care of pool and trash daily. Always upgrading the property. Enabled our multi-generational family to reconnect. It's great. Highly recommend.
