The Space:

Vacation your way and leave the rest to us at SunDestin Beach Resort in Destin, FL! Take advantage of a plethora of property amenities including an outdoor hot tub, sauna, steam room, a newly-renovated outdoor pool, and a gift shop loaded with beach supplies. Swing by the fitness facility for a workout, check out complimentary DVD rentals. Go solo or join the family outside for seasonal amenities, including beach chair/umbrella rentals (fee), and an outdoor tiki bar. SunDestin Beach Resort houses more than 3,000 s.f. of meeting space, making it ideal for personal or professional functions. Our warm and friendly Scenic Stays team will be available throughout your stay via our 24-hour on-site front desk should any questions arise.



SunDestin Unit 1512 is a comfortable, spacious two bedroom, two bathroom condo accommodating up to six. Drenched in soft whites and sandy hues, the decor and furnishings are designed to settle you in for a relaxing stay. Everyone can cozy up or spread out in the living room, with a plush sofa, loveseat, and flat-screen TV. Prepare snacks, meals, and cocktails in the fully-appointed kitchen and enjoy it all at the dining table with seating for six. Savor gorgeous sunrises and sunsets on the balcony, accessible from either the open-concept living/dining space or the master suite. Recharge with a restful night’s sleep on the sleeper sofa in the living room, on twin beds in the guest suite, or on a king-sized bed in the master suite with flat-screen TV and en suite bathroom.



Head over to Destin Commons for a day of shopping just ten minutes away! Spend an afternoon perusing the outdoor lifestyle center, filled with restaurants, boutiques, a movie theater, and a Bass Pro Shop!



Guests under 22 must be accompanied by an adult chaperone throughout their  stay. Pets are unfortunately not welcome and are subject to immediate departure if found to be inhabiting a property. Smoking is strictly forbidden.



Please note that La Dolce Vita is the beach service vendor for this property. While beach service rentals are not included in your stay, you can easily contact them directly for all your rental needs.

Wonderful location

This place was great for what we were looking for. Yes, we had to walk just a little ways on the beach to where we could use our own umbrellas, but if we had had a tent then we could have walked right out on the beach and set up. I felt like the price for the room and location was very reasonable. Views are my husband's thing and not only did this have a balcony that you could see on the side as well, but it had a large floor to ceiling window. I gave condition 4 stars just because there were a few things that needed some attention but didn't completely hinder our stay. I let the front desk know and I am sure they will be addressed. This unit could have used some salt and pepper and maybe a few more cooking pans, cookie sheet etc, but overall we made do, and it was a great stay. We will definitely stay at Sun Destin again. The room choice will depend on who all is with us. We loved that this unit had 2 separate rooms and bathrooms.

Beautiful Place

The view is amazing and its newly renovated. The bed was a little too soft and I know this can't be controlled, but they must've been renovating the unit above, and we could hear them banging on top throughout the day and sometimes at night as well.

Beat view in destin

Gorgeous, clean property with stunning views! We loved our stay with the exception of a loud ticking in the walls from 615 - 645 every morning that woke up our entire family for the duration of our stay.

Wonderful

The building inside look kind like (ugly , old, wear), they are working on that they where painting the building outside, but the room beautiful. Everything clean, new, big. The view was amazing. Beautiful!!!! . The location espectacular closed to everything. We really like it. I definitely will come Back next year for sure

The overall unit was fine, but the kitchen had problems with the dishwasher and the electrical outlets on the sink side of the kitchen. We were not able to use the appliances or the dishwasher or the garbage disposal during our stay. The technician was called twice. The first time he fixed the flashing light on the Dishwasher. On the second time he fix the dishwasher so we could open the door and the unit would not fall on the floor. He did not fix the electrical outlets on the window side of the kitchen.

Could not use the kitchen except for the refrigerator.

Loved it!

We loved this property! Terrific views, clean and nicely decorated unit. Comfortably fit our family of 5. Kitchen was well stocked and came in handy as traffic on the main strip was heavy making eating out challenging. Easy access to beach. Facility rents umbrella and chairs but reserve in advance if you want front row set up. If we return to Destin we will definitely book this condo again!

There was no washer or dryer and the phone was wrapped up placed in the cabinet. Also moisture collected on the master bathroom and bedroom floor leaving an oily film making it a fall risk.

We did not use our timeshare but joined approximately 12 family members in renting units for an annual family gathering, which are traditionally held at Scenic Stays in Destin. This year’s accommodations were disappointing and did not meet the standards from previous visits or the price charged. There were issues with rooms smelling like mildew and tattered furniture etc resulting in room changes. This will impact our decision on whether to return for our annual family gathering and whether we recommend it to others.

My wife and I stay at this resort every year. This condo is absolutely one of the best we have ever stay in. It has views that surpass all the other views. will definitely look for this condo in the furture.

Good location

Nice view of the gulf. Condo unit was ok. Resort and management were not. Both hot tubs and gym were poor at best. Had an issue, resort manager said she would follow up with us. Never did, which was not a big surprise.

Candy is always super helpful in the check-in process and during the stay. Our room was updated, clean and in perfect condition. Our stay was most enjoyable and we would highly recommend 1512. We are already planning our next trip.

Handicap Access to the Beach

We were disappointed that there was no ramp by the stairs that leads to the beach. My friend is handicapped and uses a walker; it was very hard trying to get her down the stairs and on to the beach. The so called “ramp” that the resort has was way over on the other side of the outdoor pool & we had to get someone to unlock it to go through and it makes for a long walk for the handicap person to get to the group on the beach. After going through the gate it is then locked again so if the handicap person needs to use the restroom, you had to go get someone to open the gate again. I feel the resort should be more handicap friendly and have a ramp by the stairs where everyone else accesses the beach. This was my third visit to SunDestin and we love it there. Josh was very professional and very alert to what was going on around the beach area, he was very helpful to us. The young Jamaican girl in the resort store was very friendly and helpful to us also. I am definitely looking forward to our next visit! 👍

Always stay here

Great place. Third year for us staying in this room. Knocked a few stars bc there were natts in the kitchen. And they still haven’t fixed the dishwasher bottom rack. Good luck emptying it with out waking anybody up. Other than that. Great place.
