No other part of Michigan is as beautiful as SBDNL and its 35 miles of Lake Michigan Shoreline and countless inland lakes. In the fall nature abounds as the leaves change color for long walks. In the Winter there is ice fishing, snowmobiling, X-Country Skiing and Crystal Mountain Ski Resort is only 20 minutes away. If you are more into shopping & dining Traverse City is 30 minutes away or Cultural events at Interlochen Arts Academy and their summer concert series of world renowned musicians. The lake side of the house is all windows/sliding doors onto the huge 16'x42' deck. The water is crystal clear and the frontage is SAND and has a very gradual drop in depth to about 5 feet deep for quite a ways out. The house is about 125 ft from the waters edge planted with plush Kentucky blue grass, great for yard games (I supply cornhole, bad mitten, bocce ball, dart toss and pickle ball in the driveway). Boat and Wave Runner Rentals are available from a number of local companies. There is a space on both sides of the dock for a 24ft +/- boat (June-Sept). I supply a 1-person kayak and a 2-person kayak and some blowup tubes and water toys. I supply bed linens, pillows, blankets and hand/bath towels. Also included is kitchen utensils, plates, bowls, pots/pans, Spectrum Cable WiFI/TV and a Brother printer/scanner. I have a Samsung 85" Smart TV on each floor and Master Bedroom. You will not be disappointed in this rare opportunity to rent a 4 year old house (most rentals are older homes with all they portend) to experience all PURE MICHIGAN has to offer. During the months of June, July & August there is a 7-day min. stay. (I will make an exception for the 1st week of June and last week of Aug. where there is a 4 day min.) All other times of the year there is a 3-Day min. stay. Cancellation policy allows you to cancel and receive a refund 100% of what you have paid provided you initiate cancellation within 60 days of check in, No refund is available after that but I will try and accommodate you at a future date and apply most of what you have paid.
