There is also a game room, gated parking, a play area for small children, laundry facilities, The Comedy Cellar bar, a restaurant and an exercise area. Just steps from the Village which has most of the shops, restaurants and bars. Split Rock pool is located at the Village as well as the Big Top fun center."

Skiers Paradise

The Condo is truly situated just steps away from the Ballhooter lift. It is PERFECT for people who just want to ski. As a place to simply sleep for 6/8 hours and then ski/dine out/drink the rest of the time the condo is ideal. The master bedroom bed is also very comfortable. The building and the condo are both very dated. But who cares if you are there ONLY to ski!!!!

You can be at the top of the Ballhooter lift in 30sec after leaving the front door, so if skiing is your primary concern, you will not find a better location. I would not recommend planning on putting an adult on the fold out couch. The facility is older, but clean, and everything functioned well.

Property was gross. The couch is sagging and ripped, ripped carpeting, the air filters were covered in dust and comforter was dirty.

Not a bad place but could be much better.

To start with the positives, this condo was clean, in a great location, and the bed was comfortable. Other than that, it is in desperate need of a face lift. The furnishings are old and tired and the condo in general is just run down. If you are looking for a place to just sleep and shower it is fine but don't plan on spending much time in the unit. It was also a bit confusing to find. It would be nice to list that the condo is in the Mountain Lodge facility.

One of the worst stay...

Communication with property manager was very poor Sofa bed metres was so bad you could feel the frame... WiFi poor connection... Everything need update...

1. The bathroom sink was missing the release valve and was full of water. 2. The bathtub wouldn’t drain so stood in water during showering 3. The shower curtain had mildew on the inside. 4. We sank when sitting on the couch 5. The pullout couch mattress was TERRIBLE 6. Nothing had been updated since the 1980s (I was I was exaggerating) 7. It smelled musty VRBO should be embarrassed to list this property.

double check before you go to make sure your room is ready for check in.

we booked this stay 3 months in advance. We were checking in on Christmas Eve. I had no check in instructions so I contacted the owner while we were on our way. I was told that the room had not been cleaned so we could not check in that day. After going back and forth we were given another room for the night and had to move rooms on Christmas (had to take time from skiing to move). The room we booked smelled of mildew as the area below the ski rack was carpeted. the sofa was appeared to have been from an old dorm room. It was uncomfortable to sit on and terrible to sleep on. The room is supposed to sleep four. Fortunately, we only had 3 guests as there were only 3 pillows. This was the only bad experience we have ever had at Snowshoe.

Pretty decent one bedroom suite on 1st floor. Some noise though, but tolerable.

Very convenient location. Clean bathroom and refrigerator. Kitchen and bathroom cabinets, and living area sofa could use some makeover. We enjoyed overall.

Equipment

The condo was equipped with everything we needed . It was sight unseen since their weren’t any pictures loaded on VRBO. It would be nice to see the size of the rooms and decor. I loved all the hooks for coats and skis.
