Friendly, welcoming and comfortable cottage w/large private deck on the water

Come and relax at the Beautiful Outdoor Resort at Sandbridge (Surfside at Sandbridge), Virginia Beach, Virginia, United States of America. This Cottage (RV Unit 182) is only 4 minutes walking distance to the beach. A beautiful and safe gated community where neighbors still wave hello to each other. It is very family oriented where kids can play in our new playground. The resort offers a volleyball court, two tennis/pickleball courts and a basketball court, two swimming pools and fitness room.

This cottage RV (Unit 182), has 2 Bedrooms, 1 Bath, Sleeps 4
Bedroom 1 has a queen bed and bedroom 2 has 2 bunks. Linen will be provided. You supply the bath and beach towels.
This cottage has a full kitchen and bath, located right on the water. Relax on the very large, covered deck. It is the widest in the resort, so good in all kinds of weather. Sit back, read a book and enjoy your vacation. The ocean is only a block away.

Min Stay: 3 nights and no pets allowed. No smoking on the premises this includes e-cigarettes.

Over all cool place bathroom a little small

Had a good time place is nice for two people and a couple of small kids. Resort was real nice.

Cozy stay for a week at the beach

Everything was as described, and was just the right fit for our family! The AC was efficient for the space and the deck provided a nice spot for outdoor dinners and evenings to ourselves once the little ones went to bed. The kids loved the playground around the corner, and walks to the beach were quick and easy with the wagon provided.

The host was very accommodating and friendly. Made the check in/check out process easy and was available a text away if you have any questions/issues. The RV resort is located just a short walk to the beach and has two pools available. There were locals who live at the resort who are extremely friendly and gave us a ton of recommendations on what to do. This was our first time at Sandbridge and I am looking forward to coming back again!

Great for long weekend.

Quiet beach in quiet, but fun neighborhood. Pool with showers make it easy to come home from the beach. Lots of little kids made it more fun for our 4 year old. Nice having a second bedroom. Good cabinet space. Great deck for meals.

Sandbridge Vacation

Awesome stay! Second time we have stayed here. Location is close to the beach and park amenities are top notch. We will be back!! Close drive to False Cape State Park also.

Great stay everything was clean. The neighborhood was very peaceful. Block away from the beach. My wife and I enjoyed fishing in the channel when we weren't at the beach

Great location

Unit was clean and quiet, in an awesome location close to beach and restaurants. We enjoyed having acess to the pool and amenities in the neighborhood. Unit was small but plenty of room for 2 adults and 2 kids, even on a rainy day. SandbridVeach was beautiful

Very cozy small home in the bay

I stayed at this house a few years ago, and this time I feel the place got a lot of nice touches and upgrades. Very clean, fresh linens, strong AC, very cozy and comfortable furniture on the deck. We got lucky with not too hot weather and morning coffee on the deck was my favorite time. Definitely the house to come back next year.

Boogie Board Paradise

Grand kids ages 10 and 8, from Alaska, saw the beach and that was it…they are hooked. We we hooked when we saw the beach was 1 street over and a very short walk. The pool inside the gated property was an added bonus…no loud cards! This will be a vacation to remember. Thank you Mike and Esther for a wonderful experience.

Just what we needed.

Down for a Softball tournament with our daughter for a long weekend. Price was fair, property was nice, area is nice, check in and out was very easy, and we enjoyed ourselves there. We would definitely stay at this property again. Thank You, Micheal.

This was our second time renting here. Everything was spotless as before. We really enjoy Surfside as it is very quiet at night. Baja Restaurant is walking distance as is the beach access. I do recommend anyone using the White Cap Lane access, get to the beach around 9 am as it’s more crowded on the south end.

Perfect family cottage!

If you want hustle and bustle, rowdy neighbors, and a crowded beach, don't stay here. BUT, if you want a peaceful, laid back place with great neighbors, and plenty of room to spread out on the beach, this is the spot! Great cottage for a small family. Bunk beds are a little small for older teens. Everything, even down to the refrigerator shelves was immaculately cleaned. Easy 5 minute walk to the ocean. Esther was a fantastic hostess and booking with Micheal was super easy.

Everything was great but the unit had an odor of mildew-especially in the queen bedroom. Would recommend a de-humidifier and deordorizer for next guests

Cute, welcoming, tiny home

Host was very welcoming and very friendly. Beach walk was further than expected -about 6 mins. The home was stocked with a utilities and everything was very clean. There was no ice cream shop within walking distance. Our kids were disappointed. Also no vegan or healthy restaurants within walking. Would recommends staying here if you’re looking for relaxed, quiet vacation.

Great location

Wonderful beach get away for a few days. Wouldn't change a thing. Pros: Park next to unit = easy unload/load and easy to leave beach gear in vehicle, easy walk to beach even pulling a loaded wagon. short walk to pool, clubhouse with bathrooms, Watersports venue (we did a ski boat ride), and a great restaurant (we brought some home cooked meals to reheat in the microwave for some nights). Cons: small bathroom, shower head has a 'feels like razor blades' setting that is hard to get out of, not allowed to hang towels on railings.We will be back; loved it!

Great beach getaway!

Had a great experience experience here with my husband and young son. It’s a short walk to the beach and one of the pools is super close. The place is even nicer in person than the photos show. Only caution is for tall people. My husband hit his head on the ceiling fan in the living area a few times and the bathroom is tight (width wise). But the location and other amenities more than made up for these small things. My son used the little inlet behind the house to practice casting and my husband and son enjoyed fishing from the nearby pier. Last point: the host Esther was amazing! She went above and beyond on a couple things. One is that I realized after check out that I left some clothing items there and she is mailing them to me. Thank you!!

Très bien

L’ajout d’un mécanisme avec une barrière pour le lit superposé serait un ajout important. La pomme de douche est semi fonctionnelle. Néanmoins, nous avons fortement apprécié l’ensemble.

Beach respite

The trailer was clean and updated. Sheets were provided. Host easy to communicate with. Lovely large deck with overhang. Kitchen well stocked. Large fridge. Shower head could be changed out as not a lot of pressure. The RV resort is walking distance (5 minutes) to beach. Biking at Back Bay to False Cape was lovely. Overall an excellent fall get away for a few days. There is construction across the canal which is quite loud when you sit on deck but I am sure it will be short lived. It was just the perfect deck to do yoga and meditate and could not do the latter because of noise. Inside the trailer you could not hear the outside which surprised me. Very insulated. Thanks for a lovely weekend in Sandbridge.
