Second year at this property and just as happy with it as last year. The house was clean and had plenty of room for us. It is has a nice view from the top deck and is located with easy access to the beach. Also it was nice to have supplemental beach items available.

Great Beach House

The property was exactly as shown on VRBO. We had a very nice week with no issues. Taylor is a great host and easy to communicate with. We would definitely stay there again.

A few days in Surf City

My son is retiring from the Marine Corp and my family wanted to be there for the ceremony. We are all beach people and this was the perfect place for us to stay. It was clean and comfortable. Communication with the owner was excellent.

Mother's Day weekend

So nice to spend the weekend with my kids and some friends. The pool and park were perfect for us with the comings and goings. And so grateful to have nice weather and SO close to the water. We came for the ocean, the pool and park were extras. Can't wait to go back.

Great stay at the beach

This was our first time in Topsail and we were just looking for a nice week at the beach. That’s exactly what we got! The house was perfectly situated 50 feet from the beach and directly overlooking the community pool. My children spent hours in the pool and getting which is a major win for me. Additionally, I found all the rooms good-sized and very comfortable and cozy. More than enough towels for everyone. We hope to come back here again!

Perfect Vacation Location

Just spent a week in this townhouse. It was clean and exactly as described/presented in the pictures. We’ve stayed in several townhouses in this complex over the years and this one tops the list. The location is not far from downtown Surf City and equidistant to the major grocery stores and restaurants no matter which way you come into town. There was plenty of room for 5 adults and we didn’t even use the loft. We appreciated the beach gear to supplement what we brought. And access to the beach is so easy. We definitely would book here again.

Great place to vacation for the family!!

We LOVED this property for our family. The house, kitchen and beach/ pool toys were very well stocked, we really didn't need to bring half the things we brought from home! The location was great! Short, easy walk to the beach, pool and playground. There is a little general type store and a dive bar across the street! The townhome had so much room for everyone and the views and sound of the waves from the decks was an added bonus! Also, Taylor was very responsive with all my questions and even offered to mail something back to me that I left. We will absolutely continue to go back!

It was a place to stay I guess

No toilet paper; pool is closed and unavailable; nice playground but it’s in the park not onsite. One of the bathrooms had a broken mirror. There are cameras on site exterior which not a biggy. Nice view in morning.

Hey Zachary, Thanks for the review. I messaged you before your stay and asked you to please let us know if you needed anything. Our cleaning team is responsible for restocking toiler paper and other essentials, but had I known you were without, we would have delivered you some ASAP. We are aware of the small crack in our bathroom mirror, but since it is small and in the corner, we have chosen not to replace it at this time. We provide arial photos in our listing which clearly show the playground is just 60 yards from the front door to our unit. I'm sorry the pool was not open for your stay. Like most community pools, it is closed in late fall, winter and early spring. This year it is open May 1- Labor Day. Like I said, we always encourage our guests to let us know if they need anything during the stay and we will always attempt to accommodate within reason.

Great location!

This Surf City rental was perfect for our short stay. The host was easy to work with and was able to adjust our dates when an unexpected funeral came up. We arrived late at night and had a little trouble finding the exact unit. The unit was not marked on the outside, but luckily the photos of the property helped us figure it out. We would definitely stay here again.

Great space that exceeded expectations

We stayed with my older parents and 2 children under 5. The layout was perfect for spreading out and also visiting on the main level. There were many extras which helped tremendously with the kids- we loved having the toys, beach gear, toddler bed rails, and booster seat all available to us. The outdoor shower, covered parking and easy access to the beach we’re also great features. The pool was a nice place to cool off and the beach view from the kitchen sink was beautiful!

Nice place, good location, lacked cleaning

We enjoyed our stay, location & house once we got things cleaned up a bit. We would rent this unit again, but highly recommend more be required by the current cleaning crew. All the shower drains were clogged and had to be unclogged of hair, toilets pretty dirty, and beds weren't made but sheets provided in totes. The upstairs shower curtain was disgusting and we bought a new one and cleaned the bathrooms well after a quick trip to Walmart for cleaning supplies. Towels are provided but plan do a load every day (4 adults, 1 kid) which showers after beach, etc. That got a little old, wish more were provided, instead of doing a load almost everyday. No beach towles included in liens so we have to purchase new ones. The host was good about getting in touch with ahead of time and during. The pool was closed due to maintenance issues for half of the week. Which was unfortunate as we found out the day of check-in, paying for a house with a pool, with a small child was a big reason we booked this, we were issued a $100 refund the day of check out for the pool situation. The pool is open to guests staying but not limited to peoole staying there as there is no access code. Just a gate with an gate lock. So unfortunately talking with people we learned others were walking in also, which is frustrating as the pool was extremely crowded and cloudy until Saturday. So we used the pool for one day and about 5 minutes the day it opened, but all the chairs were still locked up. House had majority of what we needed throughout the week. Few things we felt could be added though in the kitchen, better set of pans would be nice as current ones stuck bad. Living room, dinning area is open concept which was nice. Top deck was the main hangout as the lower deck has less than desired patio furniture. The walk to the beach was close enough from this unit, this is a 2nd row back, so as there is a glimpse of the ocean on either side, there is a row of houses directly in front. Beds were comfortable, sheets were provided, but comforter/shams left on beds. A nice perk is the outside shower & some things included for the beach, a couple chairs, boards and umbrellas. Keyless entry was nice, so we didn't have to worry about keys while going to beach. Our favorite spots were: Shaka taco (salsa is amazing, shrimp tacos) Fractured prune (donuts) Daddy mac's- nice pier view outside, crab cakes were good Our little guy enjoyed the pirate ship park down by mark's pizza

Great location

Property was just as described. Minutes walk to the beach. Very convenient location. Owner was very easy to get ahold of. King bed was very comfortable. Would definitely stay here again.

Great location and nice open home!

We loved staying here! It was very roomy, clean and super close to the beach. Had everything we needed. Hosts responded quickly to questions :) check about pool opening dates before you go though (it was closed when we were there and were a little disappointed about that). Other than that everything was great! We will be back for sure!
