With everything you need (and more!) enjoy days of fun in the sun at the Ocean Park Resort! Guests will have access to great amenities inside the condo as well as everything the resort has to offer. The big draw to this property is how overly pet friendly it is! Onsite services include FURology Paw Spa & Retreat offering dog-sitting and grooming services. There's also a great pool area and sundeck for guests to enjoy. Highlights of the condo include a private balcony with scenic water views, while a full kitchen and comfortable furnishings will make you feel right at home. This unit also has a private washer/dryer and WiFi for added convenience.

There is a 40 lb weight limit for dogs. Restricted breeds include Pit Bulls, Staffordshire Terriers, German Shepherds, Rottweilers, Presa Canarios, Chow, Mastiffs, Doberman Pinschers, Akita, Wolf hybrids, Cane Corso, Great Danes, Alaskan Malamutes, Boxers, Huskies, American Bulldogs, Mini Bullies, and Belgian Malinois. This includes mixes of these breeds as well.

If you are bringing a dog on your trip, the pet fee is already included in your quote when selecting ‘Yes’ to pets. If you would like to add more dogs, please contact us.

Wonderful, affordable Beach Front Property

This condo was perfect for our beach vacation. We loved the proximity to the beach. The amenities were just what we needed and was perfect. The bed was SO comfortable.

Perfect hotel

The hotel was clean, staff was awesome very nice and hard working. Loved the giant outdoor hotub, indoor pool could have been warmer. Loved the trash shoot, so much nicer then it being piled up at everyone's doors, and that they had recycling. DVD free rentals was fun. Best hotel we've stayed at in MB, we'll be back. Dirty Myrtle (wing restaurant)was great and very close. Walmart super close too. Very convenient . Beds were comfy and not squeaky with good pillows.

Very dog friendly

This was a great place to stay with your pet. The views from the balcony are awesome. The staff are friendly. HAs on site security. My little Chihuahua loved staying here!

Clean and welcoming

The room was clean, with a nice icean view. I couldnt get the wifi to work on my laptop, but could on our phones. I dont think it was an issue with the service, my laptop just couldn’t find the correct address. There are enough cups, plates, etc for 2-3 people. There is a Wal-Mart less than 5 minutes away, so dont worry about forgetting your toothpaste 😀. If the weather is dreary, there is a great mall a short drive away, with a large movie theater complex and plenty of stores. We also found a quaint "downtown" district with a wonderful mediterranean restaurant.

Perfect pet hotel

Condo is as pictured. It is the best layout for a one bedroom in this building. Having a washer and dryer in the unit is a plus. The view from the 9th floor is spectacular. Unit was clean and we even had an early check in availability. We also for a small fee had a 4 hour late check out. The pools, huttub and grounds and hallways are cleaned daily. The staff is very friendly. Being right on the beach is a big factor for us when staying at the beach. Chairs and umbrellas are available to rent from lifeguards. Having lifeguard protection especially for safety is also important. One last thing, I especially like the fact that there is a security guard on the premises every night and doors are secure and locked, as some of the area is changing. However we felt safe and even safe walking the beach at night. Not so much the streets at night. 2 small hotels next door have questionable activity......

Excellent Beach Access and Very Pet Friendly

I gave the stay 4 stars only because the room could use some updating. You can tell it is an old building and definitely could use a fresh paint job but overall, we really enjoyed our stay and room! It was a perfect view to the pool, hot tub and beach! Also, we were very comfortable with our lil dog and the pet friendliness of the hotel. We also enjoyed the space of the room and with the two beds in the living room area and separate bedroom there were plenty of places to sleep and tons of room for our party of 5 guests.

This is probably the 6th time we’ve stayed at Ocean Park. Lobby always smells clean, friendly staff. Perfect sized facility! The hot tub was broken this week but it was still usable. Our room was satisfactory and we’ll be back next year as well!!

Needs major updates

I have been coming there for yrs. This is by far the worst stay. AC in main room barely worked, sink wouldn't drain, shower know broke, dryer hose not hooked to the wall and the elevators are always broke. I do not recommend the hotel anymore. I use to love it there but it needs major upgrades.

Comfortable Beds!

The beds were very clean and comfortable. However, the floors were filthy. Seems as though they are never mopped. Had damaged ceiling in main area. View was amazing!

Some good, some bad.

First off; you have to remember that this is a typical Myrtle Beach hotel. Don’t set your expectations too high. You’re not getting luxury by any means. Good: Being able to bring our dog was awesome. The view and access to the beach and was great. The hot tubs and heated pool were wonderful for a winter getaway. The beds were sufficiently comfortable and the kitchen was adequately stocked for cooking basic meals. Having laundry in the unit is a huge plus. All the staff we encountered were friendly. Bad: I know with all certainty that I checked the “pets” box when I reserved. Upon checking-in, I was told I owe a $75. pet fee. I showed the clerk the listing that clearly says the $20 pet fee is already calculated in the daily rate for one pet. She said that I did not check the “pet” box. And conveniently, there is no way to get back to that section of your reservation after it’s submitted to prove it. Since my husband and I were on this trip as a distraction mourning a death in the family, I paid the $75 to avoid any unnecessary hassle. Plus, $20 x 3 nights = $60 so I don’t know how it became $75! So, if you book your reservation on your phone, I recommend turning on your screen recorder all the way until after you have submitted so you can prove that you checked the “pet” box and not be charged an additional fee. Also, while the unit was clean on the surface, it could use a good deep down cleaning. Be sure to bring some slippers because you want to have something on your feet the whole time you’re in the unit. There are a couple of hotels next-door that are closed down, in horrible shape with the pools drained and holding nastiness. This is not by fault of Ocean Park Resort but it does somewhat affect the otherwise pleasant view. Overall, we enjoyed it and will probably return.

Nice unit, needs some minor TLC.

Good pet friendly location and amenities (2 pools, 2 hot tubs, beach access) The upcharge for pets is a bit much since floors are all non-carpeted. Shower handle was messed up and hard to adjust. Shower drain was slow. Cleaning was OK. Wall paint could use a little TLC. Couch pull-out and Murphy mattresses could be updated for comfort. Not sure Dryer has an exhaust connection. Note to owner... a new photo showing how the main bedroom is separated down an angular hall would be advantageous for your marketing.

it was a very nice hotel for a cheap amount. I really enjoyed staying there but the only thing I didn't like was the check in and check out hours. but overall I really liked staying there will be visiting again soon.

Love this place

COMFORTABLE BED!!

The bed was very comfortable and clean. However, the floor was terribly dirty as if it hadn’t been mopped in some time. Received a text at 8:00 pm he night before I checked out and an offer to send the cleaning crew up to clean the floor. At that point, I didn’t want to be disturbed as I was getting up early the next morning to check out. Was very disappointed that the floor was so dirty.

Wonderful Vacation

Need new beds! Ruff nights sleep as springs and thin toppers poke all night. The condo was nice and clean, staff were very friendly and attentive. No smart TV, have to go rent free dvd’s from the lobby, remote control’s were sticky and half functional. Spa, hot tubs, pools are clean and enjoyable. Views are wonderful, and nice to walk right out on the beach from the resort. The kitchen was nice and had everything ready to cook and clean. The provided vacuum was horrible and filthy. The washer and dryer were great to have in condo. Great location but surrounded by low priced hotel or motel ???? not sure which but lots of sporadic cussing and yelling from neighboring buildings. Other than the beds and outdated electronics, this was a nice place to stay. Won’t be coming back though until area gets better.

Nice place

Nice place. Only negative thing was the air conditioner unit in our room had mold build up. It needed a good cleaning. I’m sure mold spores were being blown out in the room.
