This condo sleeps up to 6 and has 2 queen beds and 1 murphy bed. Coral Beach was voted by The Travel Channel as "Best Family Accommodations" with great amenities! This 1 bedroom condo features the FULL Kitchen. It has two queen beds and an updated/Full-Size Fridge, range, oven, and microwave. This condo has an amazing direct ocean view of the Atlantic Ocean from the 5th floor! Centrally located in the heart of Myrtle Beach! Just minutes from Broadway at the Beach, The Airport, The Boardwalk, Many Restaurants, golfing, bars, entertainment/shows, and more! We hope you enjoy this condo as much as we do! Oh goodness where to start! I didn’t receive the information from big Fish rentals(BFR) to be able to access our room until we had already arrived. They claimed they sent it, but I never received it. So I was able to reach out to BFR via text message and get them to send it to a different email address. So when we got that situated, we entered our room to both AC units clogged with dusty filters. Resulting in the air not blowing out cold. I cleaned them both which fixed that. There was mold on the ceiling right above the bed. Then the worst thing was there were cockroaches in the cabinets and drawers. Had I been made aware of I would’ve never reserved this resort. BFR knew about this problem as there was spray and traps underneath the sink. We reached out to BFR and they said that they would get back to us They just had to speak with HOA about sending out a pest control unit. We then asked them if we could move to one of their 600 properties. BFR ignored both requests, never responded. This destroyed our much anticipated vacation. September 6, my cc was charged 150 for the 2nd time. I contacted BFR in regards to this, was told that it was a re-authorization it would be automatically released in five days. It is 9/16 that was 9/6, it became a posted transaction on 9/8. I’ve contacted BFR a few times with no response! Never had an issue reserving through VRBO in 15yrs. Reserving this resort on the VRBO website with host Julie on behalf of BFR was the worst decision EVER!!!

Please be aware to never stay here. Nasty with hair everywhere, sheet stains, broken entrance door, mold on AC unit, trash in drawers from previous renters. The person they sent to clean the room came with a trash bag of linens and bleach bottle asking if we were “getting out or staying” So apparently he was the owner but lied like he wasn’t. We left and booked a hotel on the north side of Myrtle beach. 0/10 don’t recommend!

the hotel is good, but not at Big Fish

I booked a room through VRBO, but in fact ,the accommodation was rented out by a third-party company, Big Fish Rentals, which re-rents rooms at the Coral Beach hotel. Communication was only via email or text message, and no one was in a hotel.The lock on the front door was very difficult to open - I got into the room only after 30 minutes. When I was about to go out to the beach, the lock did not close. A long text with Big Fish began: instead of solving the problem, they again requested the documents already sent when booking. Only after 3.5 hours did a repairman come, temporarily fix the problem, and promised to replace the lock the next day - but this did not happen.The light in the bathroom did not work, the balcony was dirty, there was hair on the carpet, and sand on the sofa. No one fixed anything in three days, despite promises.My family vacation was ruined. A "Big Fish Rentals" I do not recommend it.

Was not disclosed that the amenities at the hotel would not be allowed to us. Once you get to the hotel you are not allowed to use any of the amenities since you are staying in a privately owned room. Deceitful pictures of the ping pong table, etc. which are not allowed to be accessed by anyone staying in this room. We were also charged for parking which was not disclosed. Could not even buy a drink from the hotel bar, eat breakfast on site…literally wanted to give hotel our money for amenities and they would not allow for this room. All you could do was swim in the pool. Lockbox downstairs also did not work so had to leave hotel elevator key in room, won’t be surprised if we get charged for their mistake there either.

Not as expected, they require lots of things to do after booking, take your time reading additional rules that are not stated upfront when you book, need to take the trash out, clean dishes, if you don't want to be extra charged. They take your time while being vacation, don't let you enjoy vacation. If I'm staying at a property,I don't want to be bombarded by long emails, requirements and requirements, as their service is very poor regarding cleaning and quality. The pictures on the post are outdated, maybe since the renovation but now it's not like that.

DO NOT STAY HERE !!!

Check in process was okay. We got to our room, none of the doors close properly and the main door does not latch properly. You have to put your whole body weight into it for it to open and SLAM it to actually latch the striking plate. We started unpacking and noticed the room was never even cleaned and had to come back to “clean” again with no new outcome. Nothing was provided. No toilet paper, paper towels, sponges, dish soap, NOTHING. We had a sponge left over with hair on it from the last renters. There was mold throughout the hotel(ceiling, bathroom floor, inside cabinets, and pillow case). Reached out to the owner multiple times with no resolution or refund of any type to go elsewhere putting our family at a health risk. From start to finish we were unsatisfied with our stay!!

Do NOT book this property. Worst rental experience ever

Cleanliness - Major Health ConcernsThe property had a severe cockroach infestation. Found multiple cockroaches throughout the unit, making it uninhabitable. For 258/night, this is completely unacceptable and a serious health hazard.Excessive Security Requirements - Red FlagsAfter booking (non-refundable), I was required to provide:Photos of driver's license (front and back)Photos of credit card (front and back)Handwritten signature on blank paperPhoto of myself holding both documentsThis level of personal information collection raises serious privacy and security concerns. No legitimate hotel requires this much sensitive documentation, especially a handwritten signature sample.Communication IssuesReceived 10 emails with an overwhelming list of rules and restrictions. The sheer volume of communications created anxiety rather than helpful preparation. Many rules weren't disclosed during booking.ValueAt 258 for one night including fees, this property offers terrible value. The combination of cleanliness issues, excessive requirements, and poor communication makes this completely overpriced.RecommendationAvoid this property entirely. The host's invasive documentation requests, combined with serious cleanliness issues, make this unsuitable for any traveler. There are many better options available in the area.

Coral Beach Resort trip

I’ve stayed at Coral Beach Resort before, the overall property is excellent, great amenities. We rented a condo thru Big Fish, we loved the contactless checkin and checkout, that made everything super easy and didn’t have to wait in the lines. The rental company has great communication and easy to get in contact with. Our unit was as described. There was minor confusion with pool passes which the resort doesn’t use, and also figuring out where to get rid of our trash since we had to take our own trash out but the hotel stuff was very friendly and helpful. Another downside which is as stated to us before hand was the fact we couldn’t use some of the resort amenities but company did make that clear ahead of time so there was no surprises. Overall we are happy with Big Fish rental. We enjoyed our stay. We highly recommend them.

The pictures were very misleading! The room was disgusting. I had to clean it myself. They only left an old broom no vacuum. The floors were so gross covered in sand and clumps of dust and dirt in the corners. Walls were dirty never wiped down. Stains on the pillows. There was mold on the shower curtain. The towels were so old. We went to Walmart had to buy towels, blankets and sheets and had to get a hook for the door bc there was no where to hang your towel. Due to booking this way we couldn’t get coffee or drinks at the bar! They put lipstick on a pig to make it look nice in picture but was horrible. Toilet was loose floors were popping up.

Place was clean and the location and price was great. Close to everything. Only issue I found was the front door was kind of hard to latch had to practically slam the door. Still overall happy with my stay.

The hotel-the pools and hot tubs were good-the hot tubs could have been hotter for me The unit I would have just done 2 stars but I do not want to hurt the resort. The unit we stayed in was owned..we did not know that so our experience should not reflect on the resort. The management company for the owner unit was very lacking and their maintenance was poor. They would communicate but they did not take seriously our concerns. I am used to a very high level of cleanliness and this was just not up to my standards or any of those traveling with me. Again..this was an owner unit so should not reflect on the resort.

Beautiful View

Good room, and price. Only thing that sucks is we were down with the Shriners and we were unable to use the bar or even get coffee in the coffee shop which we didnt originally think would be a big deal but it was a pain. Need TP and trash bags.

Average stay with issues…

Unless you want to make repairs while you’re on vacation trying to relax, I’d stay away from this property. Within the first 3 hours of checking we were fixing things. Sliding door would barely budge and open. Our 15 year old couldn’t even move it. Tv would not connect to the internet since it’s a Roku. Everyday it is as the same issue. Then upon taking a shower the temperature knob fell right off. Some other small issues like slow drains and poor water pressure since day 1. Unit was clean and linens were fresh. Communication with Big Fish Rentals was quick and quite impressive to be honest despite the frustrating issues. Every issue I contacted them about was “noted” as they explained but zero results with actually having someone come and fix the issues. Actual resort is great. 5th trip to Coral Beach resort but first time booking a private unit. Won’t make that mistake again and will book back through the resort in the future so any issues can be addressed right away. The choice is yours, just my honest review.

First off we enjoyed our stay at Myrtle Beach. Condo was clean. Used the bathroom within the first hour. Went to wipe and the whole toilet almost tipped. Contacted the email given and told them of my issue. Told me they would send maintenance after reaching out to owner. Asked for a picture of toilet. Sent that. Told me the owner said the toilet was fine that and secured down. There was a shim under the toilet to help secure it. Im mean really. I've installed hundreds of toilets in my line of work and never did this. I emailed numerous times and they pretty much ignored me telling me they'll come up with a solution. Dont spend your hard earned money booking theough big fish rentals. They do not care. Haven't even reached out to me.

This place (Coral Beach) is great for families! It has amazing pools, a few steps to the beach, and the room was great as well. Highly recommend for an affordable getaway.

Wouldnt even let me order coffee from the shop in the building because I booked through this company. Check in process was horrible, wish I would have stayed somewhere else

Holiday Getaway

Enjoyable property with a great view and access to the local attractions. The 2 sleeping areas had great noise reduction. Kitchen was decently stocked with necessities. My family of 6 (3 teenagers) didn’t have any complaints regarding space for the 3 nights.

We love Myrtle Beach because the palm trees in the pool area give a tropical feel, without going too far from home. We have one little girl and our condo is our other pride and joy. I am excited to help you have a perfect vacation and hope our condo can accommodate your needs. I want your experience to be perfect and would love constructive feedback to make your vacation even more enjoyable. My husband provides our website and advertising for our family business and I supply all the comforts of home.
