The big draw to this property is how overly pet friendly it is! Some say it even caters more to dogs than to people. Onsite services include FURology Paw Spa & Retreat offering dog-sitting and grooming services. We also have a great pool area and sundeck for guests to enjoy.

THINGS TO KNOW
There is a 40 lb weight limit for dogs. Restricted breeds include Pit Bulls, Staffordshire Terriers, German Shepherds, Rottweilers, Presa Canarios, Chow, Mastiffs, Doberman Pinschers, Akita, Wolf hybrids, Cane Corso, Great Danes, Alaskan Malamutes, Boxers, Huskies, American Bulldogs, Mini Bullies, and Belgian Malinois. This includes mixes of these breeds as well.

If you are bringing a dog on your trip, the pet fee is already included in your quote when selecting ‘Yes’ to pets. If you would like to add more dogs, please contact us.

The view was as pictured, beautiful. The location was perfect. Within blocks of main thoroughfares for restaurants. Resort was very nice, employees very friendly and helpful. Very dog friendly. Beach very nice.

We absolutely loved the view.The room was very clean we had no problem getting fresh towels. The kitchen was well equipped with everything that you might need if you prefer to eat in.They were absolutely great with our pup.

Where do I start!!?? This is my second time staying at ocean park resort and I loved everything about it! Wi-Fi was great, the beds were comfortable! The pool and jacuzzi was so relaxing And the ocean front was to die for!! I would definitely stay here again and again!!

Affordable beach trip

Took my 8 & 10 year old grandkids on their first beach trip and they loved it! The indoor pool was a big hit when it rained and when we wanted to get out of the sun. Took my grand dog too and that was great! Love sitting on the balcony watching the ocean!

The property was convenient in location. Our main uncomfort was the room really needs some updated mattress' and the hallways were really loud.

Nice mini vacation

We enjoyed our stay. There was one mishap with the ad verse the unit. In the pictures and reviews, there was a murphy bed available. However, it had been removed and there was only a sofa bed. I was very concerned because they are much different options and expressed this to the woman who checked us in. I was very impressed that the management went out of their way to provide a mattress topper for the sofa bed. It made it much more comfortable which was very appreciated.

Needs a complete renovation

Beach is lovely and staff is friendly. Unit itself needs rehabilitation. Rusty old appliances, drains to sink and shower back up, mattresses are saggy, paint needed throughout, including kitchen cabinets. Slider to balcony needs repair . I will choose a different unit at this resort in the future. I was very disappointed in the state of this unit.

Great view, but...

Great location, but not updated didn't get the room i saw in the booking. Very rough around the edges.. when the tub drained the kitchen sink would get the water backed up in it, no hot water in kitchen ever had to wash dishes in the bathroom sink and it took forever to even get warm. Floors hadn't been washed in awhile. I brought sheets to cover sofa and chair for our piece of mind.. I'm glad I did the place just didn't feel very clean. The beds were comfortable. But that's about it. We it's decided to book on the economical this time, where we usually stay at much higher end places. This place felt like the type of place we used to stay at in our twenties when we didn't have much money.. wouldn't stay here again. No extras in the kitchen.. had to go buy my own single pod coffee maker. Had to ask for a toaster and a dvd player for the little one.

Rooms needs some TLC

We love to stay at Ocean Park Resort with our dog. The staff is very friendly, and they get our needs met. Hotel is very clean, and the room was very clean. I did not give this room 5 stars because it needs some work. I have stayed in other rooms in the past and they were far nicer than this one. Some paint is needed, also the ceiling was peeling and dropping on the floor. We constantly had to sweep the floor during our stay. I had my dog groomed with the onsite groomers and they were wonderful. I highly suggest using them. Overall, we will be booking again with this hotel.

Good view, shabby room.

Property has great views of ocean, super easy beach access. The room itself is old and shabby, and not the cleanest. The popcorn ceiling was flaking off - white powder all over the floor and we could watch it falling. Tub was not clean. Furniture is stained. The balcony was crumbly. Bed was not comfortable. If you don't mind motel standards for 4* prices, that's this. Next time I'll shell out a few extra bucks for a better property.

Decent place

We stayed 4 nights in room 708. It was pretty much an apartment. One room with 2 queen beds, a living room area with a pull out couch and bed that pulled out from the wall, full kitchen and everything we need to cook meals. Balcony facing the beach. Plenty of room for my family of 6 plus our dog. Very pet friendly, pretty sure everyone staying here had their dog/s with them. Our dog visited the on site groomer for a paw treatment. They were great with him, gave him treats, and did a little photo shoot with him and sent us photos. The staff was friendly, check in was fast. Clean pool and hot tub. My only complaint is the room was a bit dated, and when we arrived the floor was very dirty. I had to ask for a mop and I swept and mopped it myself. I am pretty sure the AC units did not have filters as we were waking up with sand all over the floor and bed despite sweeping it up everyday. Vacasa contacted me after check in for feedback, then contacted the hotel, and we were compensated an amount I was satisfied with. We did see a roach in the elevator one time coming from the parking structure, but no bugs were in our room. Overall we had a nice stay.

Quick weekend stay

Place was neat and clean. Pet friendly. On the beach. Elevators work pretty fast considering the size of place. Need more green space for dogs to walk. Overall, I would give it an 8 out of 10. My wife and son were happy, so that made me happy!!

Loved our stay!

I would definitely recommend this room to anyone searching. All beds were really comfortable, even the wall bed! Room was clean and smelled good each time we walked in. Great view of the beach! We also enjoyed the option of free dvds to watch. We would definitely stay here again in the future! Thank you for a great stay at the beach!!
