There is a 40 lb weight limit for dogs. Restricted breeds include Pit Bulls, Staffordshire Terriers, German Shepherds, Rottweilers, Presa Canarios, Chow, Mastiffs, Doberman Pinschers, Akita, Wolf hybrids, Cane Corso, Great Danes, Alaskan Malamutes, Boxers, Huskies, American Bulldogs, Mini Bullies, and Belgian Malinois. This includes mixes of these breeds as well.

If you are bringing a dog on your trip, the pet fee is already included in your quote when selecting ‘Yes’ to pets. If you would like to add more dogs, please contact us.

Parking notes: There is free parking available for 1 vehicle.

It’s was a good stay. Inside pool was great but a little cold. Just wish the whole week had nice weather. We got hit with a tropical storm and when I asked for an extra day because the weather would be nicer and it was crazy expensive.

Wonderful views

The view of the beach was amazing, and the natural lighting was everything! I love how the room was clean, appliances was provided in the room, and how comfortable the room made me feel. The staff I interacted with was friendly and helpful!

Lovely view

The best part wasn't the 2 hotubs or the extremely large pools. It was the view from the balcony. Having coffee and dishing tea with my daughter-in-law is just the best time. 100% recommend.

We loved it!

Great value and right on the beach. My family loved it! The only issue was one of the elevators was down which caused a backup but that's not related to the room.

Mixed feelings…

Very clean, lovely room and property, great WIFI, great ocean front view (but sadly no view of sunrise due to an extended left wall on our balcony), extra firm mattress, loud wall unit air conditioner that roars night and day, and very slow and inefficient elevators. Since I’m disabled and can’t walk on the sand, my view and experience on the balcony is so important for my enjoyment. I really missed being able to watch the sunrise! Also, the AC unit was so loud on the balcony that I was unable to hear the soothing sound of the ocean. For someone who is able to walk down to the ocean to enjoy the sunrise and the ocean sounds, this would probably not be important, but those were deal breakers for me!

June stay

Mostly great, however someone on the 5th floor threw apples at us while in the pool almost hitting my daughter in the head, went to management and she quickly went out to investigate of course they said they didn't do it, however there are cameras and i have pictures of them. There were about of kids and teens. Well not go back in June, Sept was quieter.

Kind employees!!

Employees were all very nice and they kept up with the sand, water mess and cleaning the pools!! I always felt bad walking through the cleaned area. The room itself however could use work. The ceiling would leave white crumbles all over the room. The balcony oils use a bracket on the right side just like the left side. The sliding glass door was a rusty latch and we had lot of trouble with opening it. I got stuck on the balcony a couple times and had to have my husband let me back in. Overall the staff and place is nice and accommodating. The rooms could use being updated though. We still had a fantastic time!!

The location of Ocean Park Resort was great! The home was clean. I wasn't crazy about all of the dogs, but it is a dog-friendly property. I would definitely stay there again.

Friendly Staff

Staff was super kind. Place was kept clean. They did however have a tremendous amount of chlorine in the pool/hot tub. As much as I appreciate the kindness of the staff, I was not fond of them easily giving a room key to my friend without verification. Could be a safety concern.

thought it was no smoking, but I guess people cheat.

The toilet ran the whole time I stayed they tried to fix 2 times but still ran I shut the bathroom door to sleep. I liked the room and the property. Was quiet and did cater to people with pets.

Ocean Park Resort

The room was okay, the on-site pet spa Furology was great. After 32 years in resort management I know if you have rules you follow them. This is what we saw; smoking on the decks (cigarettes and weed), grilling on the six floor decks, a lot of cars with no parking tags, rooms overbooked with 8 to 10 people in them which accounts for so many cars with no parking tags. If you have rules enforce them or throw the rule book away. The staff seemed to work hard but Ocean Park is just a step of two away from becoming a dump. So sad!!

Good value for the money

Excellent location, dog friendly. The elevators were super slow (there are only 2) and theres not alot of air circulation in the hallways (i get its august) so the pet smell can be overwhelming. Also i get that covid 19 is here but towel service would be awesome.
