With an unbeatable oceanfront location and multiple resort amenities, you'll never want to leave! Small but practical, let this be your place to rest your feet after days and days of fun.

Your reservation includes buffet breakfast for two guests at Magnolia’s at 26th. Tickets are valid only on the date issued. ***Extra breakfasts are available for $10 + tax*** just a short walk from the hotel. Each property is equipped with one or more rental boxes. You will enjoy free Blockbuster rentals during your stay. Also check out the Snack Shack located on the 1st floor of the registration building.

All Oceana Resorts guests are provided with a package of tickets from local partners. The program offers one free ticket from up to three partners per reservation. Additional tickets are available to purchase when the free tickets are redeemed. Details are updated seasonally on our property-specific websites.

Everything was amazing, especially the room, very spacious, and the beach view was amazing from the top floor, and an easy walk to the beach, the breakfast was delicious, the only down side was the murky water in the lazy river, but other than that everything was great

Happy Vacation

This was my first time visiting Myrtle Beach and I have to say that booking at the Carolinian was a fabulous idea! I picked an ocean front view and absolutely loved being able to sit on the balcony to watch the sunset over the beach. The hotel had direct beach access which made our trip that much easier to enjoy. I would definitely recommend it to anyone and will book again in the future!

First Myrtle Beach Resort

I enjoyed the view from the 10th floor, along with the balcony. We were able to see dolphins on our first day in the early morning. The kitchen was quaint and met our needs, as well as the room itself.

Great ocean view. Friendly staff. Clean room. Kitchen was nice, had everything you need if you want to prepare a meal, grocery stores also in close proximity. Front desk was helpful with restaurant recommendations. Breakfast is included….it was good. They offered eggs, pork bacon/sausage, turkey sausage, grits, corn beef hash, waffles, biscuits, toast, fruit, pastries/donuts, juice, coffee…I may have left off a few items.

A Great Deal

Very clean room, freshly made beds, and clean bathroom with shampoo, conditioner, soap, etc. Plenty of towels to last us for a two day trip. Garage parking is not far at all from the hotel. Customer service top tier.

Fantastic location!

This room is on the top floor of its respective tower, which is very nice! It is also on the beach side of the street so the balcony is directly over the beach! The bed is very hard and made our backs sore each night, forcing us to get up early in the mornings. We were also very congested after arriving and throughout the stay, as though the A/C unit might have to be cleaned. The location of the hotel is a 10min walk to all the attractions on that end of the beach.

If you love the smell of pot this is the place for you

There is a no smoking rule but it is not implemented at all. Every hallway, the balcony, the elevators, smelled strongly of marijuana and was nauseating. It ruined my stay. We tried to only be on the property when it was time to go to sleep which was a huge waste of money. When I asked about the fine for smoking, I was told it wasn’t enforced and only stated to try to deter behavior.

Overall, great value for the price

Pros: The location is great. Check in process was simple and easy. You unload your belongings before parking your car. The parking garage is a block away. The room was updated. The hotel offered free breakfast, putt putt, DVD rentals, and discounts on local attractions around the area. The view from our room was amazing! The staff were very friendly. We really enjoyed the kitchenette (there were plates, cups, silverware, and cleaning essentials). The AC worked perfectly. The bed was comfy & there were plenty of pillows. The room was very spacious. There's a small personal safe in the closet. The fridge was slightly larger than most of the mini fridges we've seen in hotels. Cons: I do think the bathroom needed a little more attention with the updates. The lampshades need to be replaced (they had mold). The bed sheets were clean but stained. And a few of the pillows had mold on them (under the pillow cases). We did not call the front office to report the pillows because we didn't find it until the last day of our stay. Overall, we are happy with our stay. The price and the perks that come with the hotel were fabulous. We would stay here again.

It was a great room for a great price! Oceanfront was lovely and the breakfast was awesome! The only thing I didn’t like was the fact that none of their pools were completely indoors. It was very cold this weekend.

Friendly Staff

The staff are incredibly friendly. Was nice that breakfast at Magnolia 26 was included daily - even for take out, which was great considering how busy they were. Room was clean but whatever chemical they use to freshen or clean with smells awful. Room is simple, but enough amenities for a nice couple of days.

Great Retreat at The Carolinian

Loved that the rooms were clean, also the hallways and lobby etc. The staff was friendly and accommodating. And the breakfast at the Magnolia Restaurant was superb! Very restful 4 days
