With its hip vibe, Seaside sisters: Chloe's side is a favorite for those who want an affordable rental with close access to the beach, Mason Avenue, and the Town Harbor. This 1700 era brick duplex residence offers all the comforts of home with its stylish trendy décor. The Seaside Sisters are named in honor of our two daughters, Chloe and Caroline. The home has great Wi-Fi that covers the entire property. An onsite golf cart is available for rental for an additional fee.

Lovely duplex in a very convenient location

Really enjoyed our stay. The property really lived up to our expectations, which were high. It is conveniently located, a few steps from Mason Ave and not too far from the beach. Very nice and clean with plenty of charm. Nice big, and very bright, main bedroom!

Quaint Duplex in Cape Charles

We had a wonderful visit in Cape Charles! Close to the beach, restaurants and everything you might need. House is stocked with all the amenities plus beach chairs, umbrella and sand toys!

Closet to town

This is our 5th summer in Cape Charles and we decided to be walking distance to Mason rather than closer to beach. This house was a cute duplex with great size bedrooms. Dining room had a nice size table for dinners. House had extension chord set up for golf cart which was convenient. Would stay again!

Great location

Great location with shops, restaurants, and the beach within walking distance. We liked the layout of the house and enjoyed our stay overall. The kitchen was clean and worked well and the place felt clean, but a couple of things need improvement. The living room couch was dirty and should be replaced and the shower was difficult to use (an old clawfoot tub with an added shower head and a shower curtain surround). The older people in our group had a hard time getting in and out of it and said they felt off balance each time they turned around while using it. But overall, it's a cute place in a great location.

Great location. Neglected property. Contentious communication.

The duplex is in a great location with easy access to the offerings of Cape Charles. The door keypad makes getting in and out very easy and there’s ample parking. Unfortunately, these pluses were overshadowed by the negatives. It was clear that this was once a much loved duplex but a lot of areas of the house were neglected. We brought this to the attention of the owner and they agreed that there were areas that needed improvement and that “the listing wasn’t an accurate representation” and offered us a refund for one night IF we didn’t leave a review. We politely asked for a two night refund as we cut our time there in half due to issues we found with the property (mold on a lot of items on the front porch, an unusable backyard due to overgrowth, mold on the master bedroom nightstand lamp shades, a very badly stained living room couch, etc) , which we thought was fair. The owner treated us as though he was doing us a favor for any reimbursement and decided that we no longer deserved any reimbursement. As a note for all renters, VRBO allows hosts to determine if / how much on all refunds and doesn’t intercede on renter behalf—please be aware of this as a renter. We had really been looking forward to a family vacation, but were really disappointed in the state of the rental, trying to work with the host and how VRBO handles these matters. The entire conversation between us and the host along with pictures showing the areas of neglect are captured within the VRBO app communication section should anyone wish to see screenshots. We are happy to share.

Great beach rental

Well stocked and comfortable for a family of 6 - all of the necessities for home and the beach! Great spot around the corner from the shops and restaurants, and not too far from the beach either! Would definitely rent again.

Our rental worked out well. Enjoyed the proximity to the beach. The kitchen was well stocked. Beds were comfortable. Very easy to communicate with owners. Would stay here again.

Plum street perfection

This seaside sister proved to be a perfect place to lay our heads for a quick CC getaway. Michelle and John were quick to answer any questions we had. The location was perfect.

Cape Charles is a hidden gem. The moment we saw Seaside Sister's, with its awesome location, hip vibe, and sense of charm, we were smitten! The duplex offers flexibility whether you're a couple traveling together or a large group that needs space to spread out; the ability to rent one or both units provides the ultimate in flexibility. The green hues are soothing and remind us of a day on the beach. This property is around the corner from Deadrise Pies and the many restaurants, galleries, shops, and night life that occupy Mason Avenue. This property also provides us with an opportunity for an affordable get-away for young families and others on a budget without sacrificing quality, amenties, or location.

Location, location, location! We love this location and proximity to town. From the main level wood floors and faux fireplaces, there is an air of historical charm mixed in with modern amenties. The kitchen features everything you will need for meal preparation or storage. The dining room features a unique hand restored table that seats 8 or more guests with plenty of room in the living room to spread out and enjoy each other's company. Games, whole house (and yard) Wi-Fi on the property, a park grill, fire pit, and front porch seating complete the amenties that make this a special place made to create lasting memories. The home has a heavy duty beach cart stocked with essentials to make your trip to the beach memorable.
