Cabin tucked away on two wooded acres in the town of Quincy surrounded by jack pine and oak trees. 1 mile from Castle Rock Lake County Park, Beach, & Campground. Castle Rock is the fourth largest lake in Wisconsin. Great for boating, skiing, fishing, volleyball, tiki bars, live music and relaxing. 30 minutes to Wisconsin Dells. 5 minutes to Northern Bay Golf Resort. 8 miles to Adams Friendship. Free public boat launch less than a mile away.

Inside has a vaulted ceiling and is flooded with light from the wall of windows and patio doors leading to large deck and fire pit. Three bedrooms, large loft, two full baths and finished lower level. Total of 5 queen beds and 5 twin beds. Fully stocked kitchen with all the needed appliances, cookware and tableware. Outside relax on the spacious deck and sit beside a camp fire while connecting with friends and family. Charcoal grill available - bring your own charcoal and lighter fluid. Walk or Drive 1 mile to the Castle Rock Lake County Park to swim on the sandy beach and play on the playground. Very family friendly and the location and communication was great. Our only complaint was the condition of the kitchen equipment. The coffee maker and pots and pans need to be replaced.It is also unusual to require the guests to supply towels and take the garbage to the street.

Great stay!

Stayed here with 9 girls for a bachelorette weekend. This was my second time booking this for a larger girls weekend and it does not disappoint! Plenty of room for everyone, good parking, and great outdoors space. Close to the beach and boat launch but still secluded. Absolutely recommend! Great for groups!

The property was adequate for out party and very comfortable. It is a beautiful setting.

We enjoyed the fire ring and swing. It was a peaceful, secluded spot. We had difficulties locking the sliding door and some areas of the house were not as clean as we left it.

Comfortable stay

The house itself was very nice. Rooms were clean and plenty of dishes and utensils for our group. Garbage bin outside for recycling and garbage were both full when we got there so did not have a place to put our stuff. When we were by the fire pit the smell was pretty bad from the septic. Overall we agreed we liked the house but not the smell.

Annual Family Vacation

This was our first year at this property, and it was fantastic! Private, spacious, close the Castle Rock County Beach, and 30m from the Dells. Our family enjoyed the campfires, the added space in the basement, and the 2 refrigerators. We will definitely consider this property for future vacations. We contacted the owner with 1 question and got an immediate response. We can't express how much we enjoyed our week in Friendship. Thanks to Brady!

Great house with good bedrooms

Overall the house was great, backyard had some flooding system with white pipes sticking out, like 10 of them, so made hard for kiddos to run around and play. The house was good size, photos are little misleading, showing more space but still decent size. Mosquitos are pretty bad as well but that is part of Michigan.

Thanks for your review, Chris! We do have some capped PVC pipes that have to poke out in the yard, there are 8 in 2 neat rows. This is standard for this area in the way wells were developed many years ago. The mosquitos have been pretty bad across all of Wisconsin this summer (2024) due to the mild winter. We expect them to return back to normal levels in 2025!

Nice location & plenty of room for all of us. Plenty of utensils, etc. However, the garbage bins were all full, so we had to take with when we left. The water smelled of rotten eggs so we had to buy our water for all of us during our stay. Not enough paper products for those of us staying. Other than that it was ok.

The house & property were as described. Everything was clean. We were disappointed with the beach that was nearest the house. It had a lot of algae. We did find a beach further down though that was much better & would recommend for other guests--Costa Ricky's beach bar. The host was very responsive to all messages.

very clean and seclude.. everything there I needed Front room furniture in need of repair both outside doors broke. I tried to get hold of owner to let him know. cell service bad but house is nice and well stocked .. tried but could not reach owner

Very nice location

This is a great place to stay if you need several beds. The location was quiet and close to Castle Rock Lake. A few things at the house need attention (I own an rental myself so there were a few things I wouldn't have let go unattended): The patio door leads directly to the deck so it gets a lot of use. It seems worse for the wear, doesn't open or close easily. The screen for that same door is torn so you can't keep the door open and the bugs out. Overall we enjoyed our stay very much.

Family getaway

Quiet area nice for walks. Kids liked beach area in park just a mile away...week days not very busy there. Fit our family of 8 adults and 6 kids and dogs ok. Had good weather to be outside alot so not on top of each other too much, lol. Had our own shade tent so dogs could be in enclosed deck, or tethered under shade tree. Fire pit worked well for using our tripod, smores and pudgie pies. Did get a bit warm during day as air conditioning seemed to "take a break" in afternoon, but cooled down again early eve. Garbage bins very full in back of garage on arrival on a Wed.(says garbage day on Tue?) but did have 2 partial full ones on side that fit what we went thru. Good place for what we needed it for.

Great location, nice house

The house wasn't clean to a level (floors, bathrooms were dirty, there were also someone's stuff in the closets and drawers). There was 2 half-rolls of toilet paper in the house and 1 not full roll of paper towels (there were 12 of us). There was just 1 pod fir dishwasher. The dining table has a terribly broken leg. There is no sound proffness at all. The water smells terrible and is very yellow. The lights downstairs didn't work normally, the air hockey doesn't work. The host didn't answer to my question during the stay at all (and still no answer). So, the building is nice and big, lots of light and great loft area. The location is beautiful, close to a lake, in the woods and secluded. But the property isn't maintained well and the communication is zero. Thanks anyway

House was nice, but…

The house looked lovely and fit our large group well. However, it was odd to arrive and have Amazon packages on the front steps. Later, received a message from the host, stating he would be stopping by later that day to pick them up, which he never did the entire 4 days that we were there . Almost seemed like it was staged, so we would be on our best behavior. Also there was no extra toilet paper Host said he would drop some off but never did.so we had to purchase our own. And oddly, I received the message about the toilet paper, shortly after we were talking about not having enough for our stay! That was kind of creepy! The lawn should have been mowed, knowing that a group of people were coming in. So unfortunately, we weren’t able to play our yard games due to the mosquitoes and the taller grass. Also the bed in the basement bedroom was broken we had to put a brick under it and there was a dirty diaper in the trash basket in the downstairs bedroom. Also the people staying in that bedroom had to move out due to a lingering smell that made her feel sick. The house was nice, but needs some TLC. Front door didn’t shut very good and The patio door was VERY difficult to open and close We have stayed at other Vrbo places before, which normally provide the towels and wash cloths and even soap and shampoos, as you would have when renting a hotel room, however this place does not offer this amenity. Unfortunately, we will not be returning to this rental

Needs maintenance

The manager was responsive and the location was peaceful but other than that the place needs maintenance. Broken screen, slider door hardly opened, cleanliness left something to be desired. Furnishings are early rummage. Internet was out all weekend . Not owner's fault, just beware. You are in the country. Living area space was tight for our group of 10 adults.
