Cozy Cabin in the Woods

You will enjoy this gorgeous cabin in the woods. The entire cabin is the definition of warmth and function and features a large west facing deck for lovely sunrise views and afternoon BBQs. For a cozy evening, you will find a wood burning fireplace. And the bathrooms feature beautiful showers and one large freestanding soaking tub. The heart of downtown Breckenridge is 4 miles away (approximately 10 minute drive). As a bonus, moose are often seen at the cabin!

- Remove shoes and ski/snowboard boots in the entryway.
- Events: No parties, weddings or events of any kind are permitted at this property.
- Check-in is after 4 pm and Check-out is before 11 am unless pre-arranged.

The property comes fully stocked with paper products (paper towels, toilet paper, tissues, napkins), soap products (shampoo, conditioner, body wash, hand soap, dish soap), and detergents (laundry and dishwasher) as well as bed linens and towels. In addition, the kitchens are stocked with cookware, bakeware, dishes, glasses, utensils and standard small appliances.

OTHER NOTES:
While we have plenty of space for everyone, and beds that can hold 8 plus the pull-out couch, this property can officially accommodate a maximum of 6 guests in compliance with our Short Term Rental (STR) Permit with Summit County. Babies and infants up to 2 years of age would not count against the 6 guest maximum.

The minimum age limit to rent is 25. Guests under the age of 18 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian at all times.

This property can accommodate up to 2 vehicles in accordance with our STR Permit.

We do maintain the driveway with a very reliable plowing service anytime it snows more than 3".

Spring Break Ski Trip

House was fantastic. Traveled with a friend and 2 teens. House is well appointed. Most VRBO’s are very minimal in what is stocked. We made a grocery store run and bought several things that were already stocked like flour and vanilla. This house has most anything so check before you buy. We would definitely stay there again.

Lovely cabin

Everything you could want in a winter cabin! Owner was detailed, nice, and very communicative. If I’m ever looking for a cabin in Breckenridge again, I’ll look for this one first!

Outstanding cabin!

Loved our stay in this cabin. Beautiful home with a great location. We had a moose walk right by the window. Home was really well stocked with everything we needed and more. Would definitely stay there again!

Highly recommend! Great property!

My family and I had a great experience in this property, we would definitely stay here again. The location is great as it’s very close to town but yet far enough to make it calm and serene. The location is beautiful as it makes you feel as if you are in the middle of the woods (but really aren’t). The cabin is also really well stocked! The kitchen has plenty of cooking and baking utensils along with even spices, cleaning supplies and even some basic grocery items. They also had plenty of towels, linens, blankets, games and even some skiing and sledding items to play outside. The hosts are also so kind and attentive! They would reply so quickly to answer any questions we had and made us feel so welcomed. You really cannot go wrong by staying here, you will really enjoy it! *Note: they recommend AWD or 4x4 vehicles because this property is located a little up of the mountain, so sometimes the snow makes it a little more challenging. Also, the elevation for some of our family took some adjusting as we felt a little tired and out of breath initially.

The PERFECT PLACE!

We had the BEST time with staying at this PERFECT property!! The house was great, very clean and cozy. The location was also perfect. We got to experience staying out with nature and then we were just a short distance to town. Perfect house, location and host!! We would give this place a 10 out of 10 and would stay there again for sure! Gayle was super nice and helpful with the few questions we had. If you are looking for the perfect place to stay while in Breckenridge, we would for sure recommend this one!!

Wonderful!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in the Ruiter cabin. The setting is beautiful. Far enough away that it feels peaceful and secluded but then just a short drive into town. The amenities are top notch! We look forward to staying again next summer. Thank you!

A wonderful and peaceful cabin nestled in the mountains

The five of us spent a week at the cabin with room to spare and all the comforts of home. We cooked all our meals there except for one. The location was perfect. It provided easy access to all we needed but gave us a peaceful mountain experience.

Fantastic Stay!

Can't recommend this highly enough! It was exactly as depicted in the listing. The house was well appointed, beautifully decorated and perfectly located on a quiet street, yet still close to town. The communication was timely and the check-in process was seamless. Everything that you could want or need for a stay was readily available in the unit. Thank you for a wonderful stay!

Winter wood get away

New Adventures

Gayle was a great help in coordinating things that we needed to make sure our vacation w an infant was easy. The house was beautiful and the location was perfect. Just outside of town where it was quiet but close enough to go in every day. If I had one thing to say that I wish I could change was the fact there was no fans and the rooms stayed pretty hot though the night. All the mattresses were on the firmer side so my husband and I ended up sleeping on the couches for 4 nights. Other then that, highly recommend!!

Spring Skiing Retreat

Cozy, well manicured lodging. The owners even reached out to us to offer Breckenridge ski tips. Kids were thrilled to see a moose in the road near our house. Great weekend!
