Originally built in 1890, this newly renovated bungalow boasts an expansive private stretch of beach on the peaceful shores of Long Island Sound. Enjoy the views from the spacious wrap around porch, or explore the calm waters on kayaks and paddle boards! Or just simply sit on the beach with your toes in the sand, basking in the sun, or play yard games with friends and family on the well manicured large lawn or on the beach. A family favorite is taking a beach walk along the waters edge collecting sea shells, or bring fishing rods to fish while sitting on the beach. There are plenty of different ways to relax and create memories with loved ones!
After a day in the sun, sand and water, rinse off in the brand new outdoor shower, or in one of the recently renovated indoor showers.
Prepping meals is a breeze in the beautiful chefs kitchen. Enjoy breakfast on the covered porch watching the sun rise with seating for 12 at the outdoor dining table, as well as 2 additional sitting areas.
Be sure to enjoy backyard bbq’s and dinners al fresco on the beach deck soaking in the beautiful colors of the sunset sky, and s’mores by the fire pit as you watch the moon rise over the glistening water. For an amazing view of the sunset, take a leisurely walk or 10 min bike ride down to Beach Park.
If you’re looking for a break from cooking, take a family bike ride over to Lenny and Joe’s for lobster and seafood, Leon’s for pizza, or haywire for burgers. The authentic Lobster Landing is a short drive away, which is a must visit when in Clinton! There are a multitude of wonderful restaurants in the area, including in neighboring Madison and Westbrook, with outdoor dining waterside (a list of local eateries will be provided).
But chances are you won’t want to stray far from this cozy bungalow!
