Lots of potential

The home was spotless, with easy check-in and a responsive, thoughtful host. High quality linens, games to play, spacious common areas. I took one star off because there were no toiletries or cleaning supplies. (Toiletries were listed in the welcome book.) No cleaner for the counters, no dishwasher detergent, no laundry detergent. Also no Keureig cups. When I let the owner know she immediately offered to provide everything, which I appreciated. I took one more star off because the twin beds in one bedroom were designed for children or people under 5 feet tall. This wasn't indicated in the listing. My 5'10" son spent two uncomfortable nights with his feet hanging off the end. We left a night early just so he could get decent sleep. Once the listing is updated to include the small size of the twin beds, and the home is stocked with basic supplies, this will be a lovely place to stay.

Great cottage and great location

Great little place located in the heart of Belmont. Check-in was easy and place was clean and great communication with the host. Walking distance to downtown Belmont and a nice park located right down the block.

Historical town

Lved the place, cozy, outdoor sitting area was perfect. The town was so close. Visited jekyll brewery and jail house. Enjoyed my stay for sure.

Cute little house

Stayed here while on a college visit with my teen. It was the perfect amount of space. Everything was clean and in working order. The house does have a little bit of an old home smell to it. If arriving after dark, be sure to let Hunter know so that a light can be left on. I forgot to reach out, and the driveway and house were a little tricky to pick out in the dark. Oops! The road is fairly busy so there is some noise, it’s mostly a white noise though, so nothing too crazy. Everything we needed to get to was within a short drive. Probably 6 minutes or less. Overall, it was the perfect location and size for what we needed.

Comfortable and accomidating

The home was so cute and the location was perfect! There was every acomidation needed, including fans in the closets for those of us who get hot at night. The owner was super quick to respond to my questions! I highly recommend this spot! There was an alarm system, and cozy blankets in the living room. We were comfortable and felt safe!

Walkable

Enjoyed our stay. We were in Belmont for a wedding. We really enjoyed being able to walk into town. We found several good restaurants to try. The rental was as described. Everything was very clean. It is an older home, so it has the charm and quirkiness that goes along with that. We found it to be very comfortable.

Quaint cottage in cozy area

The cottage was conveniently located as we were never further than 30 mins away. We were in town looking at properties so Belmont was a central location.

I grew up in the Belmont, NC area and moved back after graduating from Appalachian State in 2016.

I love to travel and have had many wonderful experiences staying at other people’s homes all over the world. At the end of the day, I absolutely love where I live I and I am so excited to be able to share it with you.

I chose this property because of the location and town. Belmont is close to Charlotte, but provides the charm of quaint small town life. There is just something so nice and relaxing about walking through Downtown Belmont that makes me smile and feel alive. Guests can walk right out and enjoy all of the amazing local shops and restaurants this quaint little up and coming town has to offer.

I love the original hardwood floors and fresh bright white walls in this cozy little home. The backyard is also spacious enough to enjoy a relaxing evening outside.
