This charming one bedroom /one bathroom cottage features a king bed and has both a living room with a queen pull out sofa and a petite kitchen. The southern style porch is for the private use for the guests of The Porch Cottage. Great location and so cozy!

The property was beautifully decorated and right across from the bay. It was also walking distance from downtown Fairhope and Point Clear. We will stay here again!

Fun get away

Central to all the attractions we wanted to enjoy including the pier, historic downtown, shops and eateries, and the Grand Hotel. Very quiet property and comfy bed.

Great Property!

This was a wonderful cottage for our Arts Festival weekend! It is on the Bay and within walking distance of downtown Fairhope. It was a perfect place to relax at the end of the day! We highly recommend this property.

Great spring break getaway!

We had a wonderful relaxing time in Fairhope. Such a lovely town in spring! We were very happy with the Pelican Perch as well. Super comfortable and roomy with everything you need for a week away. Highly recommended!

A wonderful location

Park under an impressive live oak and look out over flowers blooming, a setting sun, and Mobile Bay. It's just a short walk down to the bay with its walking paths and long pier. Surprisingly quiet, this bungalow was perfect for a getaway. It's a short walk or drive to lots of things to do - restaurants, a marvelous bookstore, a very active public library, an interesting historical museum, shops, and so much more. It has a tiny kitchen, but the bed is one of the most comfortable ones we've ever encountered.

We loved this bungalow as well as our stay in Fair Hope. The location was great and the neighborhood very quiet. The availability of a washer/dryer was a bonus and much appreciated. A few things that could have made this spot even better: 1. A toaster 2. A reading lamp. 3. Specifics on how to operate the TV, preferably through providing info before our arrival so that we could have been better prepared or, at a minimum, instructions in the unit's notebook. Overall, thanks for the opportunity to stay there.

Disappointing

Bathroom tile was moldy as was the shower curtain. Couch needed cleaning. On the positive side the bed was very comfortable and the location was excellent. A few updates would make this a cute cottage. Needs a larger vanity in the bathroom, or at least a small table to hold toiletries. A smaller refrigerator and mini stove in the kitchen along with some updates would make this space much more user friendly. Way to pricey for such a small space.

Cute and clean on the bay!

Door code was wrong on email but when I called the manager she got back to me immediately with the right code. Unit was very clean and pictures were accurate. We will stay again!

We were in the area for a regatta at the Fairhope Yacht Club. We only needed a place to stay and it worked out perfectly.

Beautiful Setting

The bungalow we stayed in was perfect for us. The size was exactly made for two people with every convenience you could ask for and decorated very nicely. What a view from across the street…a beautiful park and Mobile Bay and within walking distance to the downtown area. Some of the restaurants we enjoyed were Thyme, Locals, Sunset Point, and The Wash House…excellent.

Great location! Wonderful views-, esp the sunsets. The bongalow was just perfect- very clean, spacious and had a few unexpected extra treats too! We will return for another visit!

Girl Time!

A wonderful property, but was expecting porch to look out over the bay. It didn’t. It looked out over a patio. Maybe need to change the description a little. The property was gorgeous and in a wonderful location in regards to shopping, restaurants, and a great walking trail. The public pier was just down the street and down some steep stairs from this property. We had a great time in Fairhope! What a fun town to visit, & so relaxing!

Comfortable & Cozy

This property was great for 2 people. My only complaint is the TV was hung at the end of the sofa which made watching uncomfortable for 2 people since the sofa is the only comfortable seating in the unit. The TV should be hung on the bathroom wall.

Perfect location

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at the Bayhouse Porch Bungalow. the location could not have been better... Across the street from the public pier and beach park. It was great for early morning walks. It's also very close the downtown area and it's cluster of shops and restaurants. The property is compact but still has a separate sitting room / kitchen and bedroom set up. I get up early and my partner likes to sleep in; so I could hang out in the sitting room with coffee and go over the morning's emails and other goings on.

Awesome Stay

We couldn't have asked for a better location! Splendid area parks and the Bay essentially at our doorstep. Restaurants and shops were about 2 minutes away. The staff couldn't have been more accommodating. We'll definitely look at these properties as our "base" when we return in 2023.
