Ivy House is a premier 12 bedroom villa located in the most vibrant part of the historic city center. Everything you need is within a couple blocks including grocery stores, currency exchanges, drug stores, restaurants, cafes, bars, and historic sites. Although everything is within walking distance, taxis can be found in front of the door with expected wait time of less than a minute.

The refurbishment of Ivy House was completed in 2021 and has since been seen as Cartagena’s latest and greatest luxury villa that is ready to host large groups for short term stays.

Enjoy spectacular views of the the old city from rooms that come equipped with private balconies, high ceilings, queen/ king sized beds, smart televisions, closet space, air conditioning, fans, workstations, digital locks, safes and soundproofing. Each room comes equipped with a private ensuite, hot water, water pressure and all the amenities for your comfort.

There is high speed WIFI with professional relays on every floor including the roof, giving you the best internet access anywhere in the building.

The property has a large living room with 2 main entertaining areas. The first is the living room that has comfy couches, teak tables, a large smart television, a working bar, stereo with ceiling speakers and a large dining table that seats 12 people. The second entertaining area is the rooftop which has spectacular views of Cartagena’s most impressive historic landmarks. On the rooftop you will find a pool with side bar and water feature, a large pergola that shades an industrial kitchen, bar and dining area. The pool is surrounded by a nice array of seating, lighting, greenery, and sun chairs .

The house is also an art gallery. Local artists who have draped the walls with colorful pieces that can be purchased directly from the artist who will come and prepare it for your journey back to your country.

This property is in a league of its own and suitable for those who want to be at the "Times Square" of the historic city center and want hotel quality but the privacy of your own place.

Amazing house for big group

This house was amazing! Me and other 14 of my friends stayed here. Couldn’t hope for a better house in the old city. This house is located dead center of the city and everything is in walking distance from shops to night clubs. The house staff was amazing as well. I will recommend anyone who has a big group to stay at IVY house, you wouldn’t regret it.

Center Of The Action, We Had an Amazing Time!

We had a retirement/ guys trip here and had a blast! We hired security through Cartegena Services and Nicky Made everything so easy! We had a terrific time at the Ivy House! Dan was an awesome host and very helpful. He greeted us when we arrived and gave us the lay of the land. Ariel and the house staff very extremely friendly and helpful. The location for the house couldn’t be better. It’s right in the middle of the action. The roof deck and pool were the crown jewel. Super fun and relaxing. We’ll be back…

Great Location and Property!

Ivy House was the perfect setup to house ~18-22 guests for a weekend and event for the rooftop. The staff was great, the design and artwork in the space is very unique and feels local to Cartagena, and the rooftop is one of the best we've been on in Colombia. We also coordinated having a wedding event for one of the days on the rooftop with ~40 guests and staff, we were surprised to see how spacious the rooftop felt even with this many guests, allowing for tables and plenty of room for dancing. Daniel was a great host and helped us coordinate all of the details and we couldn't have been happier with choosing Ivy House as the location for our long weekend and wedding!

Excellent house in an incredible location!

We had the most amazing stay at the Ivy house as a group of 28 people with a wide range of ages (from 8 to 80!). The property was just advertised, with multiple comfortable, clean bedrooms, a great living area and a phenomenal rooftop. Every person in our group was very impressed with the house from the moment they walked through the door! And the house is most ideally located - right in the heart of the walled city, and mere steps from the best bars, restaurants and shops.Dan was an absolute pleasure to work with when putting our trip together - from reaching out when the booking was made to keeping in touch throughout our stay and ensuring our every need was met.The best part of the house is the staff though - always friendly, helpful and attentive at any time of the day or night, whether its bringing coffee down from the roof to the living area or running out to grab a case of water.Would very highly recommend the Ivy House for your stay in Cartagena, and I would absolutely stay here again!

Great house for large groups

Our group was a group of 10 ladies celebrating a 50th birthday. Each of us had our own room with bathroom. The rooftop with dipping pool and outdoor kitchen is absolutely gorgeous, both in the day and at night. The house manager, Ariel, was great helping us with our luggage (we probably owe him a massage for all of the luggage he had to carry up and down the stairs), helping us with groceries and anything else we needed. The housekeeping staff kept our rooms cleaned (we were mostly gone during the day). Ariel was always there to greet us when we returned to the house. It was really a great experience for a large group.

The Mecca of Vacation Rentals

I don’t even know where to start. I read the other reviews before my stay and they all said this was the best place to stay and if you’ve found it stop scrolling and book. Well, they were absolutely right and I’m beyond happy that I did book my stay here. This was my bachelor party trip and all my friends were stunned when we arrived at the villa and Dan gave us the tour. The coolest person you can meet and truly goes above and beyond to ensure your stay is memorable. Honestly don’t think I could’ve found a better place to stay in all of Cartagena. Everything you could possibly need just right outside the door within a block. Also a huge shoutout to Nicky and her Concierge team who work with Dan to make sure you don’t have to think during your trip. From dinner and club reservations, to having the best security man (shoutout also Ronald!) to get you where you need to be with no worries, to making sure your villa is fully stocked with all the goodies. You really can’t ask for more. To wrap things up, if you want the best of the best when coming to Cartagena, you need to book this villa now. Like right now. Just do it! Thanks again, Dan! You are the man and hopefully someday my friends and I will be back!

Excellent hosts and great service!

Dan and his team were great hosts and made this trip one of a kind for our party. He provided great advice leading up to the trip and checked in a couple of times just to make sure everything was going ok while we were there. He also was available and very responsive when needed! Also great was Arielle and Danny. Would recommend this as an 11/10 property and experience.
