Two bedroom home with sleeper sofa in the Living Room. This is a brand new private mountain home close to town. This home is located at the base of Cedar Mountain, with hiking available right outside your front door! For the experienced hiker, a hike to "The Crater" is a must! The views will provide you with awe inspiring photo opportunities. Don't be surprised if local wildlife stop by for an occasional visit. Come enjoy this out of town, yet close to town, relaxing home. (Note: garage is not available to renters)

AMAZING!

Greg and Tammy are wonderful! The house is remarkable and had everything we needed and more! My sons enjoyed fishing the creek and enjoying the property! The house is so close to restaurants, Beartooth Pass, and Yellowstone! Moe was an added bonus as were the neighbor’s dogsWe hope to be back!

We had such a wonderful time. Greg and Tammy have an immaculate home that has the most beautiful details. It was incredibly quiet and had everything we needed. Perfect stay for after a long day at Yellowstone. We spent two whole days doing activities in Cody as well. The Cody Cattle Company dinner and show was awesome. We loved every minute of our stay!

Amazing Stay

This is our second time staying here and it was just as great as the first time! Location is amazing! The house is super clean and quite nice! Owners are super as well. Highly recommend staying here.

Mini vacation getaway

Place is beautiful! 4 of us stayed here for 3 nights and loved every bit of it. 10-15 minutes from town. Really peaceful and quiet. I would definitely stay here again and recommend anybody to stay here.

Wonderful

We traveled into Yellowstone each day of our stay but loved coming back to a nice cozy home each night. It was clean and very well stocked! Having the washer and dryer available with children was wonderful. The outdoor seating was comfortable to enjoy a beautiful view!

Perfect vacation home!

We came to Cody for a family vacation over the 4th of July. This was the PERFECT place to stay, a short drive to all the action in town, but nice and quiet and secluded to have some quiet time! Tammy was so helpful with all of her travel tips, and the house had absolutely everything you could ever need. We will be back to this rental!

Yellowstone Trip

This place exceeded our expectations. The home itself is beautiful and fully equipped with everything you need. It was in a perfect proximity for us to venture out around Cody WY as well as our trip over to Yellowstone and back two different days. If we do a family trip to Cody again we would definitely stay here first.

I have to say we absolutely love this home. The house itself was very clean and very nice. The location was great. It made for a Wonderful three days. Honestly, we didn’t want to leave.!! Tammy was very sweet and very helpful with things to do! I definitely will be coming back..

Wonderful Relaxing Time

We loved this property. The only bad thing is we didn't have more time to spend at the property itself. It was so peaceful being surrounded by mountains and wildlife. The property itself was everything as promised....and Cody Wyoming is such a cute town with plenty to do. This VRBO would be highly recommended by us!

Loved Carter Vista

Tammy and Greg are very welcoming as well as their doggie Mo. We absolutely loved the location of the house as well as the layout. It was perfect for our family of 4. The views from the house are the best! The house was clean, and had everything we needed plus some! We highly recommend Carter Vista!!

Beautiful home and very clean. Loved being in open spaces to see the stars.

Reading about the history of the land and actually having space to hike and walk was amazing. Tammy and her husband are so easy to communicate with. They take great pride in making everything perfect. The house is not only a beautiful environment it is very clean. If anyone is staying or just spending a few nights on Cody Wyoming don’t miss this house!!!

Exceptional

This home was nearly all-inclusive! I wish more places were like this. The hosts literally considered every item imaginable that you could ever need. We traveled all over Wyoming and this was the only place felt like home. The hike up to the Crater on the mountain behind the house is difficult, but well worth seeing the phenomenal structure and views. Because of the convenient location the drive to the airport was quick at 5 am.

Carter Vista is a wonderful place

Carter Vista location is very private yet close to everything, Yellowstone, downtown Cody, the Cody museum and much more. The home has a very interesting history, is well stocked, great views and your own private crater mountain, you can hike up if you are feeling adventurous. The night sky is glorious, Milky Way, Big Dipper. Tammy and Greg are great hosts, informative of activities you can attend in Cody. This is a great place, you will not be disappointed and you may not want to leave. 5 +++ stars
