Newly updated cabin under the tall pines 🌲 Uncle Buck’s Cabin 🦌

*Note: the cabin will be decorated for Christmas most of November and all of December.*
This newly remodeled 3 bedroom, 2 bath cabin sleeps up to 7 people and is nestled under tall pine trees providing a serene, private, relaxing place to get away from the hustle and bustle of the city and where it’s typically 20+ degrees cooler than Phoenix. Relax on the large wrap around porch with comfy rocking chairs and an outdoor table for 6 or hang out on the back covered porch where you’ll find a patio set overlooking the fire pit which also seats 4-6 people.

Your family will enjoy the side deck with additional outdoor seating twinkling lights overhead and an electronic dart board. Cook dinner on the propane bbq grill and play a game of horseshoes. The kids will love the swing set built into the tall pines too!

Inside you’ll find a well stocked kitchen with brand new appliances and all the pots, pans, dinnerware, etc to create basic meals or the most extravagant dinners. A Keurig, toaster oven, Vita-mix blender and crock pot are also available. Newer appliances include an electric stove/oven, microwave, dishwasher and refrigerator with ice and water dispensers. Enjoy your meals at the dining room table that seats 6.

Sit by the propane fireplace that turns on and off with the click of a switch in the sitting area. You can still watch all of your favorite tv shows on the new 55” tv with YouTube tv and other free tv apps available via Roku while lounging on the comfy, reclining sofa and loveseat.

The master bedroom has a king bed with a new mattress, full closet, tv and en-suite bathroom. The second bedroom has a queen bed with new mattress and gel topper as well as a closet and tv. The third bedroom has a bunk bed with a full size mattress, a twin up top and twin trundle underneath. All have new mattresses. A closet and TV are in this room as well.

Strawberry is a tiny town just north of Pine. Nearby you’ll find lots of hiking trails, off road trails, lakes and plenty of super cute restaurants and shops. There is a small grocery store in Pine for all the basics or head 20 minutes into Payson for the big box stores. Within walking distance from the cabin you’ll find the Windmill coffee shop, the Pie Bar, Mama Joe’s Italian restaurant and a couple other restaurants to check out.

*We do not allow pets.* That said, dogs were allowed in the past so we are not 100% allergy free in case that’s an issue.
*Must be 25+ years old to rent. ID required*
*Gila County STR ordinance allows us to accommodate up to 7 total guests. Overnight guests beyond 7 will result in a $500/night fee and they will be required to vacate the premise immediately.

Note that we have an electronic keypad and will provide you with your own code to used for the duration of your stay. Come and go as you please without the worry of carrying a key. We also utilize a Ring doorbell and an outdoor camera facing the front yard for security purposes.
