This cabin appeared to be recently remodeled and was very Tastefully decorated. The deck had the most beautiful view. Perfect place to relax and enjoy the trees of Pine. Kitchen had everything we needed.

We had a great time at Moxie Pines. The home has been nicely updated and furnished really well. The deck and the views are amazing, we spent most of our time out there. The check in/ check out process was very easy as well. We would stay here again. Thank you, Brian, for having us!

This place is super cute, has an amazing deck and everything you need. We came to Pine for a wedding and really enjoyed our stay here. Thoughtfully decorated and beautiful scenery!

My family had a nice weekend away for Father's Day. The views were beautiful and the peace and quiet was amazing. The home was clean, the beds were comfortable and the decorating was cute. It was only a 4 minute drive to the Pine trailhead for many different types of hikes. We enjoyed every moment!

Weekend away

Fantastic place. It’s snowed unexpectedly and the host had a snow shovel ready. The road up to the place was not plowed. Luckily, my car was able to make it up hill. Great place and will be back again!

We arrived to find the home uncleaned: urine on the toilet seat and bowl, unwashed towels in the laundry area, an unmade bed that had been slept in, dirty sinks and floors, a grimy refrigerator, and a couch covered in grease and crushed chips.We texted the host at 5 PM — one hour after check-in. No response. We called VRBO, who also attempted to reach him multiple times with no answer. Stranded in an unfamiliar mountain town on a holiday weekend with no options, we slept on the couch and purchased our own supplies to clean the bathrooms and couch ourselves.The host responded 13 hours later on Easter morning, offering to arrange cleaning — but couldn't give a timeline, as he hadn't heard from his cleaning crew. Everything in town was closed. We asked for a refund; he said we owed him for the night stayed. My husband called twice — no answer. VRBO called — same. When asked for a property manager, he said to go through VRBO. Since VRBO's process requires resolution from the host, and the host refused to engage either party, we left with no resolution.Avoid this listing.

Dear VRBO Community, We take all guest concerns seriously and responded promptly after being notified shortly after check-in. The home is professionally cleaned and inspected prior to every arrival, with documented turnover procedures in place. We immediately engaged our cleaning team and offered same-day cleaning during the stay, along with a partial refund for the first night as a goodwill gesture while working to address concerns in real time. That offer was not accepted, and the guest instead requested a full refund after the first night had already been completed. We remained engaged throughout the stay and worked directly with VRBO support, but were not able to reach a mutually agreeable resolution during the reservation. All relevant documentation has been provided to VRBO. — Host of Moxy Pines

We enjoyed our stay very much at this property. The wrap around deck is wonderful to enjoy the view. We saw many elk, javelina, ravens, blue jays, vultures, and humming birds. We saw all of this on property. The smell of pine filled the air as we enjoyed our time outdoors. We also took a wonderful hike to an amazing cave where we saw deer. The interior of the home was cozy, beds comfortable. We did use the bedroom fan which hit the string on every revolution so we simply turned the ac a little lower. There were a few things that needed attention but overall very nice and good property to enjoy a stay in such a quaint town. We loved the antique shops and the local breweries and the Pie Bar in Strawberry. Yum! You won’t regret staying here. The host was very accommodating and friendly when we had questions.

Great views and great privacy

My wife and I booked this cabin for a romantic Valentine’s Day weekend. It was perfect for that. The view from the deck has to be one of the best around the deck is very large and you can leave the windows open in the cabin to enjoy the view. Just me I’m not a fan of cabins that are on top of each other. The cabinet is very modern and nicely decorated. We walked into Pine. It was a It was an easy 20 minute walk and very enjoyable. An easy 20 minute walk and very enjoyable There was some fun little antique shopping for the wife. There’s a tavern that had great burgers and a breakfast place. We hit was fantastic too.

Great getaway

Coming from Buckeye AZ, we liked the cooler temp's and water. The deck was just as good in person as in the photo. Very tastefully decorated and comfortable beds. The coffee table was absolutely gorgeous. Custom made from a beautiful log. I had trouble getting in as I tried using an old code device. Call to the owner and I was corrected. He was very cordial and helpful. After 1,000s of miles traveling in the mountains, we saw our first elk, actually several of them. Yea!

Very nice place to stay in Pine for our family. The deck with views of the rim, trees and stars at night was the highlight. We saw at least 12 elk walking by the deck. The twin bed in the master bedroom is a rollaway bed that is stored in the closet. We couldn’t find the futon which would function as the 4th bed. We would stay here again.

The property design of this home ranging from the custom sprawling deck, to the outdoor firepit and BBQ area, were designed with the guest in mind to maximize the full outdoor experience all times of the year. The BBQ is covered, and features a custom built in high bench and table that can be enjoyed in all four seasons, even in rain and snow!

While the home itself is tastefully decorated, complete with all of the modern creature comforts, our crowning jewel is the massive deck! It features a shaded pergola for morning coffee, evening dinner or a simple glass of wine.

We love our home and hope you do too!!
