The Space:

Welcome to 10 Paper Birch Lane, your new favorite home away from home. This beautiful reverse living home offers a wrap-around back deck with a 360-degree view of the serene woods, that’s perfect for an afternoon BBQ or evening star gaze. Once inside this 3-bedroom home, you’ll feel as though nature has been invited into every space from the numerous windows filtering in tons of natural light, vaulted wood-accented ceilings, and stone fireplaces (there’s two!). Upstairs you’ll find the living room with a floor to ceiling stone wall and wood fireplace inviting your entire group to enjoy each other’s company. You’ll love the feeling of openness as each room flows seamlessly into the next in this beautiful home.



The large kitchen with an island that’s fully stocked with your cooking essentials and offers a view of the forest from the sink and cooktop. The bar connected to the kitchen invites two members of your group to perch and share a laugh with the chef as dinner is being prepared. Once the meal is complete everyone will find a comfortable spot with an amazing view of the forest through the sliding glass door and framed window in the dining room.



As your day continues, take a moment to sit and watch the birds or the gathering of deer from the 2nd story deck that overlooks the wildlife area in the back of this home. You’ll feel tucked away but still be so close to all your favorite Sunriver amenities. If the kids and grown-ups need a little space of their own, one group can enjoy the second living room area located downstairs with an excellent selection of games, books, and movie choices!



At the end of the day, everyone will find their own private refuge in one of the 3 bedrooms in this home. It offers a king in the primary ensuite, two queen bedrooms, and a full bed in the common area. Home includes 3 full bathrooms, all fully renovated. Before you rest your weary head, treat yourself to a relaxing soak in the hot tub and possibly catch a glimpse of a shooting star with your favorite people surrounding you.

Quick but lovely time in Sunriver

This is a great house for groups that like to spread out and have their space. We took a risk booking a house without AC in July but the weather was perfect with warm days and cool nights we didn’t miss it.
Paddling on the Deschutes and riding bikes are our favorite Sunriver summer activities!

Relaxing Retreat

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We enjoyed our getaway to this beautiful place. We made ourselves at home enjoying the scenery from our rental and the nearby outings. Taking walks, riding bikes and enjoying all the village had to offer. Would return to this rental in a minute even without air conditioning. It was clean, well furnished and perfectly accommodated our families needs.

Good Place

We spend every Christmas with family in Sunriver. This house plenty big for our group. Downstairs has a large family room with TV for kids. The master bedroom is very spacious but does not have a TV. All bathrooms have been updated very nicely. Dog friendly is always a must with us!

This was an ideal place to relax and ring in the new year with the family in the snow.

The house was perfect. It is a little far from the village but actually made for a nice walk with the dogs. The communication with the property manager was great. Had trouble connecting to WiFi and they sent someone over asap and fixed everything. Overall 10/10.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We really enjoyed this house. It felt like we went back to our childhood in the early 90’s. Great house! It is well kept, clean, lots of extra towels, easy layout for our large group. Well stocked kitchen, we cooked in for every meal with ease. I would say our only complaint would be the hard beds, though one out of our group of 8 was pleased with that... we would return again in a heartbeat. I think our favorite part was the 90’s vibe!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: My partner and I took a quick trip to Sunriver to get some quiet time away from home. The house was awesome and we will definitely rent again with friends/family down the line. My only complaint would be some outdated information that could use an update. I received a lot of confirmation emails with instructions, including our password to get into the home/wifi passwords. The keypad was slightly different than the instructions provided but it was easy enough to figure out. However, the wifi password they shared for the property did not work. When I called the next day, the customer serivce informed me the password was something completely different. Would be nice to have that info noted inside of the property with the other instructional notes. Small, small stuff - overall such a great stay and the customer service was excellent. A little close to other neighbors but the space is set up to give lots of privacy. 100% recommend and will be back.

The house was great. Enough space, rooms were nice. There were a lot of cigarette butts outside of the property, a couple things of trash. But the inside was done!

Cozy and Comfortable Stay at Paper Birch Lane

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We had a wonderful stay at Birch Tree Lane for the week of Thanksgiving. The house was clean and spacious and the kitchen was very well stocked for cooking! Beautiful views and a great location within Sun River. I would definitely stay here again. If you have kids, I highly recommend visiting the High Desert Museum which is close by. We also had a great meal at the Pine Tavern in downtown Bend. Our family is planning to come back to enjoy a summer visit to Sun River and Bend!

Nice Place

We went with my parents and two kids for a long weekend. The kitchen, living room and master was nice. Big deck and loved the hot tub. There were some wasps by the hot tub and some dog poop on the lower deck but otherwise it was pretty clean. We really did love the kitchen, it was beautiful. Good location and quiet which was nice

Relaxing & Beautiful

We rented this for our honey moon! This house has a great location with woods around. Very peaceful and had all the necessities. We enjoyed watching the lord of the rings movies and playing scrable every night! Short drive to everything, lots to do in the area even places out of Sunriver. THANK YOU FOR A WONDEFUL WEEK!

Updates Needed

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was very happy with the location. I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Overall a good experience. However, the bathrooms all need to be updated. Low flow toilets should be installed. The master bathroom shower drain was clogged so water collected while we were showering. All the TV's had multiple wands without explanation for how to use them. Property should be updated to streaming services. Also, the house reeked of cleaning solvent when we first entered. We opened all the windows to air it out. Deck was lovely. Location easy to find. Bikes provided were high quality, a real bonus.

Wonderful Family Memories

The house was very accommodating and in a great location. We made family meals and enjoyed on the beautiful private deck with large table! Had so many amenities! Looks even better than the photos.

Amenities were great, cleanliness was not.

Let me start by saying that the house worked for what we needed. My family and I traveled from out of town for a nearby wedding. So all the stuff you'd except for an in and out type of stay with evening relaxation was great. The cleanliness however was not great, it is a pet friendly rental and sure people have accidents but the carpet is very very stained. On top of this, upon arrival I layed down on the bed and put my head to a pillow. Immediately after, I smelled musty pee and then saw that the pillow I had just laid on, had been peed on. There were dead bugs all about, the kitchen table had a sticky mess leftover from the people beforehand, and after placing my hand on the wall of the shower, it was as if I had just scrubbed a lot of accumulated dirt and grime with my hand. Overall the stay was great, but cleanliness is important to me and did not reach my expectations. I will note, that when I called the management, they did offer to run me out a new set of pillows which was nice.

A little dated but still wonderful!

Stayed 3 nights over Memorial Day. Loved the location and house. A little dated but still lots of fin, rustic, but well appointed. New bikes, floaties for the river, jetted tub in master BR, very comfy beds. I might suggest upgrading the TV’s since they were pretty small but heck…who goes to Sunriver to watch TV anyway.

Lovely Place for our Covid Retreat

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This place was exactly what we were looking for and we felt very safe as the place was obviously thoroughly cleaned before we arrived. We had to speak with the front desk people a couple of times and they were so friendly and down to earth and, most importantly, helpful. Beds are firm but felt fine to all of us (better to be too firm than not firm enough imo) and the bathroom fixtures were a bit dated but we didn't mind. Everything we needed worked great (i.e. hot tub) but we didn't try the master bathtub or any of the t.v.s.We will totally stay here again; if not in this same house then definitely use Village Properties again for sure. Make sure you look for the Wi-fi login before calling. The one emailed is incorrect and there is a note with the correct one. It was covered up by our stuff so we didn't see it until the next day. Oops! But, the people I called were super sweet and helpful about it.

25 min to downtown and the property was very nice. Great spot if you want to be near bend and near Bachelor.
