Settle into the living room with your feet propped up to watch entertainment on the big screen TV together. You can light a warming fire in the gas fireplace on chillier evenings and keep snacks and drinks on the coffee table all the time. Hungry? Whip up something tasty in the fully equipped kitchen that features stainless steel appliances and an island with bar stools.

Enjoy mealtimes at the dining table that's also great for playing any card or board games brought from home. Surrounded by windows framing the mountains and trees, this open-concept space is super inviting. There's even a sunroom area with armchairs, where you can read, sip local wine, or chat with your partner. Take in the fresh mountain air on the deck while drinking coffee in the rockers, cooking up a storm with the gas grill, or soaking tired muscles in the bubbling hot tub.

For more fun, you can take the kids to the play areas, hang out at the clubhouses, or splash in 3 community pools with water features within Chalet Village Resort. Ready for bed? Take a relaxing shower in the spacious tiled shower with a seat and curl up in your king suite that features a TV and a ceiling fan. Weekend getaway

We absolutely loved the cabin. It was such a cute place, and the hot tub was amazing. We will definitely be back.

Nice little cabin

This was a nice cabin and was clean. Check-in was very easy. One downfall, which is no reflection of the owner, is parking. It is very inconvenient. When the neighbors are coming and going, vehicle lights shine right into the cabin every time. It was very well stocked with utensils, etc., for your stay. We would stay here again.

Bears!

Definitely steep grades to get to the house. Bears had torn out trash from "bear proof" trash cans and broken glass bottles strown across the drive way. Requested someone to clean it as we didn't want to drive over it. The response was that they would clean it "sometime" the next day. One of our party had to pick up someone elses trash and swept all the glass off the drive. As a flat tire was not included in rental price. Dishes had to be washed before we used them. Other than that the house was nice with good view. We loved the sweet little coffee nook.

Emaculate Cabin with Picture Perfect View

Our stay was awesome, cabin was very clean, fully stocked and a lot of charm! Our family loved the alcove, fireplace and the showers. We did have a mama bear and cubs that came through about an hour into our stay that tried to open our car door. Was a awesome stay all around and plan to come back another time. We definitely recommend this cabin! Thank You

Our stay at Majestic Getaway

We absolutely loved our stay! The accommodations were fantastic for our group of 2 adult couples. We loved the convenience to town. Most enjoyable was the encounters with a mother bear and her three cubs! We saw them every day of our stay. They did cause some damage to our vehicle (one of them actually got inside it somehow and scratched/chewed the door panels trying to get out). Fortunately, our insurance company will be covering the damage. Despite the damage, and that was certainly no one’s fault, we loved seeing them so close and watching their interactions with each other. We would definitely stay here again!

my stay

Property was very nice. Only problem was there was no toilet paper in either bath. We had to drive back into town. Noone ever answered the phone . Whoever is in charge of hospitality needs to go back to school. The welcome bag had 1 coffee, only 2 sugars, a trash bag, and 1 dishwasher soap and .... 2 travel men's deodorants????

Family vacation

This is a fantastic location! We saw black bears in the area almost every day. The view is beautiful. The cabin was clean, and well maintained. Only about a 10 minute drive to Gatlinburg parkway. We had a great time!

Missed potential

First of all the directions to the property were incorrect. We drove around on narrow, steep mountain roads trying to find the place. Secondly, the place was filthy. There was dust and dead bugs everywhere. On our 3rd day there we found a plastic bag full of bedroom linens behind a pillow on the couch. We didn't know if they were clean or dirty. The deck furniture had tree debris all over it. Third, it was missing basic essentials: extra garbage bags, dishwasher detergent, dish soap, hand soap for the kitchen, not enough towels (we stayed 4 nights and had 2 washcloths in one bathroom and 3 in the other), and no tissues. Also the properties in this area are very close together. The first night there we had to kindly ask our neighbors to turn down their music at 11 pm.

Wonderful first experience

We had a wonderful experience, the view is undescribable it looks so much better in person, drive way isn't that bad probably better for one vehicle, the Jacuzzi jets do work if you give it a little umph, they have just about everything your gonna need while here, my fiance left our car door open for literally a minute & we look outside & there was a bear in our car 😂😲 so be very cautious if you bring food and make sure you lock your trash up !

Of all the VRBOs and airbnbs I'm which I've ever stayed, this was one of the very nicest!

Perfect size for our family of four, but plenty of room to have our family that was staying across the street and another chalet over for a barbecue and to hang out for the evening! Probably not parking for two cars, unless you like to do an Austin Powers-esq 45 point turn every time you leave! Enjoyed the grill and the hot tub, kitchen was stocked with everything you could need, it was lovely!

Reviewer Comments: despite the weather, this vacation was great, it had a great view, everything was working the hot tub was amazing. however their were a couple of things that could've been better and that would be the cleaning, their was a clump of hair in the shower dirty tissues under the bed the day we got it was very dusty under their, to me that's not that big of a deal so not really any complaints the place was great. We did get to see a bear and it tried to get into my car which was definitely a first, i plan to be back soon with this location at the top of my list to rent again.

The property was perfect for two couples. The view fantastic. Tastefully decorated and comfortable ( Christmas decorations beautiful touch). It would be helpful to have known there were hairdryer and a Keurig on site. We had the privilege of seeing six bears. Wish folks would follow the rules of viewing and protecting wild life. Neighbors left their car doors unlocked and a bag of Frito's in the car. So a bear helped their self. People below us did not secure their garbage and looked like that was the nig attraction. These beautiful creatures could be euthanized for human stupidity.Follow the rules folks. Would definitely return to this property and will always stay thru Chalet Village Property

Waking up to the view of the mountains, the sunrises, even when it is rainy it seems just next to Heaven, and then there were the almost nightly visits by the bear families going down the mountain. These are a few of the things that have brought us for the past 29 years, the last four being in this property.
