Welcome to Little Star Cabin! Experience a peaceful and relaxing retreat in a small wooded community on beautiful Lake Goshorn just two miles from downtown Saugatuck. Little Star is the perfect destination for families, romantic get aways or gatherings with friends.
Little Star offers 4 bedrooms, 2 full bathrooms, comfortable living area with a gas burning fireplace, fully stocked kitchen, screened in back porch, fire pit, charcoal grill and more!
Just 200 steps from the front door is the lake - perfect for swimming, fishing, paddle boarding and kayaking. You can also spend time relaxing along the private association beach or sit on the pier and fish.
You can hop on your bike and easily ride the trail downtown to take in the art, shopping, spas and wonderful restaurants.
The beautiful shoreline of Lake Michigan is only 2 miles north west and the well know beaches, Oval and Douglas are within a 4 minute drive. Make sure to take in the beautiful sunsets, climb the steps to Mt Baldy for the amazing views or take the exciting Dune Jeep Tours.
There are endless opportunities for fun and relaxation in all seasons at Little Star.

Loved the location. Close to Saugatuk & Fennville. House has a great layout, wonderful screened in porch and backyard area. Lots of extras included that you normally don’t see with a rental!! The owner thought of everything. Would not hesitate to stay here again.

What a gem! My three girlfriends and I enjoyed a three night stay at The Little Star Cabin, and it truly exceeded our expectations. The cabin is beautiful and feels more like staying in the home of a friend than in a rental. It was spotless and thoughtfully stocked with so many extras, towels, beach chairs, laundry soap, and more. Erin is incredibly generous with the amenities she provides her guests.The location is perfect too: just a short half mile walk to grab ice cream or coffee, a 7 minute drive to downtown Saugatuck, and only 9 minutes to the stunning Oval Beach. Thank you, Erin, for making our stay so comfortable and memorable.

The host was wonderful and the cabin was beautiful. Unfortunately, friends and family members in our group were constantly harassed by the president of the HOA when trying to unpack their cars and get situated, for parking incorrectly, etc. It seemed to be nonstop and made it difficult to relax and enjoy the weekend. We were several families that rented cabins because our kids were getting married in the are and we were trying to accommodate our elderly family members as well as organize a wedding weekend for friends and family. We were not loud or disrespectful in any manner so it would have been nice to have been welcomed and treated more respectfully. Mostly we were there to sleep. It seems as if the owners in the neighborhood do not welcome renters. Perhaps this is something that should be addressed amongst the HOA members. As a cottage owner myself, I found it disappointing overall and wouldn’t recommend it to anyone. This is not a reflection of the host, she was lovely.

Perfect Saugatuck getaway

Our family of 5 had the BEST time staying at this cabin in Saugatuck The neighborhood is peaceful and beautifully maintained. The cabin was exactly as described in the listing- it had everything we needed and then some! We all enjoyed Goshorn Lake, Dune rides, and exploring downtown Saugatuck. We were also only 15 minutes from Holland. The owner was very responsive to any questions we had before and during our stay. Truly, this has been our favorite Vrbo stay and one of the best family vacations we’ve had

Great cabin!

Great cabin with lots of room! Loved the screened in porch and fire pit. Sectional was very comfy and many a nap was taken! Walk to the beach path for Lake Goshorn access; we easily rode our bikes into downtown Saugatuck. Would stay again!

Charming Cottage!

Cozy Bachelorette Weekend

My friends and I had a great time at Erin’s Little Star Cabin for my bachelorette weekend. It was close enough to all of our activities around town while also feeling like a secluded cabin in the woods. The kitchen was equipped with everything we needed to cook a few meals. All guests said their beds were super comfortable too. Thanks Erin for an awesome weekend! I hope to be back soon!

Luxury in a log cabin

This accommodation provided all the comforts of home in a delightful, cozy log cabin atmosphere. It was clean, everything worked, and rooms/beds were very comfortable. The owner was very cooperative and responsive in solving the Internet glitches with the website and HOA when they presented delays and difficulties in the registration and location for the accommodation.

Little Star shines bright

Little Star cabin was perfect for us; Grammy, Mama, Auntsie, and the littles, aged 4 and 6. Rooms were perfect, beds comfy, kitchen perfectly stocked with everything we needed. The kids loved the little beach and we brought the blow up kayak for everyone to enjoy. Fished off the rock, built sand castles, made s’mores in the fire pit with supplies Erin left for us. We had some heavy rain while there and the screened porch was perfect for us all. I’d read one review mentioned the dune ride track in back through the trees, but we barely noticed it, not an issue at all. Saugatuck and Oval beach are close by, as well as mini golf, Holland and shopping. We think this may have been our favorite Saugatuck rental so far, we’ve been doing this every spring or summer for 6 years now. Also, the rubber duckies hidden around the place were an extra fun addition that the 4 year old adored. We left a new one to add to the collection. Thanks for everything Erin, your cabin is amazing.

Family Vacation

Our family really enjoyed our stay at this cabin. It was quiet and private, yet close to all things Saugatuck has to offer. The cabin was clean and well stocked. We hope to come back again.

Great family lake vacation, can't wait to do it again.

We rented the cabin for a long weekend with friends, 4 adults and 3 kids (10,8, and 6). We packed a lot into a fantastic weekend, swimming, dune rides, a lot of outdoor games, grilling, and smores. The lake gets deep pretty quickly and was great for diving off the dock, swimming, paddle boarding, and we even saw some people fishing off a pontoon boat. It was very serene to float in the lake looking out at the trees and the blue sky. The dune rides and ice cream stand were walk able, and there are a lot of fun places to eat and shop in downtown Saugatuck, which was only a 5-10 minute drive away. Our only regret is that we didn't stay a full week.

We Had A Great Time!!

We really Enjoyed staying at Little Star cabin! There was enough room for us six adults and two children! The cabin was clean and well stocked with kitchen supplies. Check in was easy. Any questions we had were answered in a timely manner, I would stay here again!

a lovely stay in Saugatuck

We loved the quaint neighborhood, the proximity to downtown Saugatuck, and the access to Goshorn Lake. The cabin was perfect for our family of 6. We enjoyed evenings on the back porch and around the campfire. Erin was a great host!

Girls weekend!

We loved the Little Star Cabin in Saugatuck! It was well stocked and so comfortable for are group of 6. We loved sitting by the fire at night and playing games! Erin has been amazing to work with .
