Enjoy a wonderful vacation on the lake from morning until night! Have coffee on the deck, take a kayak out on the lake, soak in the hot tub or roast marshmallows over a fire! This house features TWO levels of accommodations with outdoor stair access—perfect for families who want to be together but also appreciate having their own spaces. The first floor includes a kitchen, living room, 2 bedrooms (1 queen and 1 full-size bed), 1 bath and a pool table that can convert to a ping pong table. The second floor includes a well-stocked kitchen, living and dining area, 3 bedrooms (2 bedrooms each with a full size bed and 1 with two twin beds), 1 bath and a laundry with an additional shower and toilet. Outdoor amenities include a sandy, kid-friendly entry to the lake, paddle boats and kayaks for adventures on the water, a fire pit and hot tub.

Fourth time staying

Great location for our annual family vacation. The kids have so much fun swimming in the lake. We enjoy the privacy of two separate entrances.

Amazing decks and set up for a crowd

This was perfect for our three families including older teens and dogs. The outside decks were fabulous with shady spots all day with a lovely view of the lake too! Unlike other places that sleep many people, the kitchen at Lakeside Lodge had plenty of glasses, dishes, serving ware etc for our crowd. We floated and fished the lake all day, enjoyed campfire, hottub and pool table in the evenings. Outtings to Hickoryrun State park were just a 15 minute drive. Recommended for a Poconos getaway !

Yet Again A Great Place!

Ginger is absolutely the best host out there. The place is amazing - plenty of room and right on the lake. Can't get much better than that!

Beautiful View

Lake house with 2 separate living quarters. This property is on a small lake which was great for some first time kayakers. Peaceful lovely spot.

Our stay in this lake house with my beautiful family!

The home is in a great location and we really liked that it was fully stocked with all the things you need even the staple items. The owners are great and want to make sure you have everything you need. Our family did not like that fact that had to go outside to get to each floor especially in the cold and rain. It really needs updating inside with everything ! Being on the lake is beautiful, but need to do something with the grading so it’s not so wet and muddy, especially since you can have dogs there, was a mess. Even a lot of straw all over would really help. Other wise the property is in a great location and peaceful ! Owners are very nice ppl !!!! Wouldn’t mind coming back one day if it gets updated ! Oh and bigger beds would be awesome! But being together with my children was what it was all about.

Beauty on the lake

We had a fantastic time at Ginger's property. The deck and firepit were exceptional. The home is older, with a lot of charm. You should expect it to feel lived in, which worked well for our group. We had 3 adults, 1 toddler and 2 dogs. We never wanted to for anything and ginger went above and beyond to make us feel welcomed. She also ensured we had a high chair, but literally purchasing one before we arrived. Couldn't ask for a better host. Thank you for a great experience.

Great property, superior owner

First of all, this property, inside and out, is exactly as described except there IS a big TV on the first floor as well as the second - a bonus. It was just the two of us, but we used the whole place and every toy. The second floor was home, the first floor our game room. But it was the details and the owner that stood out. In the pre-rental period, she moved an air conditioner to the master, and gave me tips on local fishing. On move in, clean dish towels neatly arranged on the kitchen counter, lots of paper products, a bottle of wine and a bundle of firewood. Fresh water in the hot tub. When we messaged her that we couldn't figure out how to turn the heat off, she called me on the phone and walked me through it. Maybe no more than ten minutes after I messaged her about it. Then you notice, as time goes on, things like the thoughtful placement of motion-triggered lighting that help you move around safely when it is dark, the smartly placed and easy to use pet/baby barrier at the second floor staircase, etc. The easy to remember lock code. Gee, what a coincidence - it is the last 4 digits of my phone number. No, not a coincidence. Simply easy to remember. Ginger, thank you for our best VRBO experience ever.

My only complaint....we had to go home

This place was perfect for our family. The kids basically took over down stairs and enjoyed every game that they had to offer (I did take away the darts). So many things were there for our enjoyment from the floats and boats to the linens on the beds. Ginger was easy and wonderful to work with and we can't wait to get back!

The Perfect Place!

We just got back from our vacation and keep talking about how we already want to go back! The place is awesome - tons of room, right next to the lake, and an awesome hot tub. The host was great, too!

Lovely house and area

The house is located right on a small lake with two private docks. We fished and kayaked every day which was lovely. The state park with hiking was a 10-15 minute drive but we spent every afternoon relaxing at the house. There is no AC but the attic fan worked wonders. When on, there was a wonderful breeze from every window and we enjoyed evenings on the back deck overlooking the lake with a perfect view of the sunset.

Stress Free Vacation!

This was a great place. The home was comfy and inviting. The view was amazing. The owner was so very gracious. Everything was right at our fingertips. From indoor activities/games to fishing in a most beautiful lake to relaxing around the fire pit. It was a great way to be able to spend time with the family.❤️

Little of Everything

This was our 3rd or 4th time staying here and the property is well fitted for families with kids, pets, Adult children... fishing, kayaking , swimming and a pretty decent view of fireworks on 4th of July. the Split-level arrangement works well for larger groups with variety of living arrangements.
