The property is cozy, the beds are comfortable, and basic items were generously supplied. The large lot is beautiful outside with lovely views and several places to lounge. The hot tub under the stars was the highlight for us. The neighborhood is peaceful and excellent to walk through to get some exercise in. Jason was a wonderful host and showed concern for our comfort, which we really appreciated. We would return with guests!

Check in and out easy. The property is perfect for those seeking privacy, nature and good fishing. We saw deer up close. Caught many species of fish. The outdoor swinging bed has the BEST views of the lake

Wow. The check in process was so easy. Jason was so helpful and quick to respond with any questions I had before and during our stay. The updated kitchen was well equipped and had everything we needed.

Weekend Kids Trip

From the moment we opened the gate to the moment we closed the gate, we had a fantastic experience. I chose this property for the kids to run and have fun. Jason, the host, was quick with responses and advice about the area. The grounds allowed the kids to roam and the kayaks allowed all of us to get out and play. I cannot recommend this property enough. We can’t wait to go back.

Beautiful lakefront property

We absolutely loved this property! It has a spectacular view of the lake with three private docks to swim, tan, kayak, or simply just relax by. Jason was very friendly and easy to communicate with. We will definitely come back!

Absolutely Beautiful and Plan to Return Soon!

It was absolutely beautiful here! The first day the weather was perfect so we were outside and the following day it was rainy so we were inside more around the fireplace and was still absolutely amazing. We absolutely would love to return and soon!

Overall good experience

We had some issues with the power outlets but otherwise a good stay. Codes locks on everything made it difficult to use the amenities due to different codes not listed on VRBO or in the house

Our stay was great! Loved the house and the view of the lake. Just know the house is high on a hill and it could be a challenge for some people to get down and back from the lake

Cabin in the woods

It was marvelous! The cabin was lovely and very clean...I had worried about spiders but there were none. The floating bed was wonderful and with a lovely view of the lake. We all had a delightful time and we are planning to come again.

Overall, the property was a great location, convenient to restaurants, stores, etc. Beds very comfortable. TV, internet access great. Views beautiful. Bathrooms a bit small. We enjoyed our stay.

Perfect lake house

I have stayed in a lot of lake houses - it's a summer tradition for my family. This was the best one I have stayed in! The house was small but a perfect size for my family of five. It had a rustic log cabin charm while also having all the amenities and excellent wi-fi (this is important if you're traveling with teenagers). The deck was fenced in perfectly so our dog could safely survey the immense domain of the lakefront, the true star of this property. It was HUGE! Three docks! We used one to swim from (it had a nice stepladder to the non-rocky part), one to get on the provided kayaks from, and one to sit and sip coffee and watch the boats on the lake. It has a wild and private feel. I know there's a resort nearby, but this has to be better. It had everything we needed (except, of course, sheets and towels, but that is easily planned for). The hill to the lake is quite steep, so do be aware if you have any mobility issues. But the many climbs we took up and down were well worth if. The home is comfortable, the lake incredible. This home is a true gem and we loved it.

Beautiful Property & Historic Cabin

Despite the cold weather and the smoke from Canadian fires, we had a lovely time at the Cabernet Cabin. All the amenities you could think of were inside the cabin, and to utilize on the lake. The cabin is close to many restaurants and other conveniences. Jason was very responsive. My only complaint is that the cabin was not clean (to my standards) inside or on the porch and property. I think this was from the guests prior and Jason assured me that the cleaning crew usually does great, but it was very disappointing to pick up other people’s trash and deep clean the house before we could get comfortable. With all of that, I truly think the location and lot is unbeatable.

Lovely Weekend with Family!

We had a lovely experience at this family (and pet) friendly cabin by the lake! The kitchen and bathrooms were very well equipped with modern appliances and bedrooms were cozy and comfortable. We used the fire pit each night during our stay and enjoyed the lovely view by the lake. The one thing we missed noticing before booking was that linens/towels were not provided. The host recommended us a local service for us to use (so we were all good!) but would have preferred this service to be included in the overall stay cost. Host was super nice and very responsive to all our questions. Would definitely go back!

Fall Retreat

This was the perfect spot for our Fall vacation - the views of the lake were magnificient, the property is well maintained and had it's own beautiful scenery with all the trees changing colors. Communication with the host was efficient and responses were very quick. As someone else mentioned, this property would be difficult with someone that has mobility issues or needs assistance walking either with a cane/walker. The property slopes towards the lake, it's very steep in some spots, but I would let that put you off - we felt like we had our own compound! Everything we needed - supplies, food, gas - was within 5-10 minutes. It's someplace we are hoping to come back to again!

Top notch Cabin

This cabin owner thought of everything to make his guests comfortable. The character & decor were superb! The kitchen included everything you’d want. There are 3 fire pit areas with a couple of docks. My husband fished & caught 3 perch. The bed was very comfortable, & the place was very clean. The owner was very responsive. We’ll be back again to visit!

Pocono retreat

Cozy cottage with wonderful views of the lake. Property was clean, quiet and well maintained. It had all accessories for a lake stay-kayaks, docks, lawn chairs, fire pit, etc. I would stay here again. The only downside is that this property would not be for anyone with mobility issues .
