Charming 2-bedroom waterfront cottage overlooking Penn Cove

Nestled amongst the evergreens, this cozy seaside cottage sits perched on a sunny bluff overlooking the beautiful waters of Penn Cove. Enjoy panoramic views of the cove, the Cascade and Olympic mountains, and the picturesque town of Coupeville with its historic wharf and waterfront. Relax on the huge deck as you watch eagles soar overhead or turn your eyes to the sea and be soothed by the sight of a passing sailboat. Watch for seals and otters playing or maybe even spot an orca or gray whale that occasionally make their way into the cove.



This cedar shingled cottage is well equipped. Its tasteful nautical theme fits the seaside surroundings wonderfully. An open, light filled floorplan is warmed by wide plank pine flooring throughout most of the house. The clean, bright kitchen with abundant counter space is equipped with many appliances and utensils and is ready for your culinary creativity. Relax in the open living room as you gaze out the large glass windows at the water, or light the candelabra in the decorative beach rock fireplace and enjoy a book. Enjoy views of the cove from the comfort of the spacious king size bed in the Master suite. The master also features deck access and a custom tile shower in the bathroom. Additional guests can be accommodated in the second bedroom which features both Queen and Twin size bed. Beach access is a walkable distance down the road.

We had a wonderful stay at this cottage on Whidbey Island. The two-bedroom, two-bath home was comfortable, very well equipped, and perfect for a relaxing getaway.The water view across the entire back of the house is beautiful, and the backyard fire pit overlooking the water made for a memorable evening.Everything was clean, thoughtfully stocked, and easy to enjoy from the moment we arrived. We would gladly stay here again.

Perfect location with a great view

We thoroughly enjoyed our week-long stay at the cottage. We especially loved watching the sailboats in the cove. The home was very clean and comfortable and thoughfully stocked with all the necessities. The location was perfect for day trips and island hopping.

Beautiful setting, well appointed cottage, and a place my daughter, son in law and grandbaby will be returning to again. Owner is very thoughtful and made sure everything was in place for a perfect stay. Gorgeous views, fenced water side yard, kitchen and bbq for those who love to cook. Thanks again!

This property is absolutely amazing. It is very clean, well stocked and in a very safe location. And the view, wow! The view is breathtaking. I can’t say enough about this Cottage. All the rooms are perfectly sized. Large closets, large shower and comfy bed. The kitchen was great. I appreciated the complimentary starter coffee & chocolates. My favorite thing about the Cottage is the backyard. We thoroughly enjoyed the view and had a great time with family as we sat around the fire pit. To just sit and enjoy the ocean and watch the birds was heavenly. This was our first time to Whidbey and we are so grateful we found this beautiful Cottage. We will be back and we will definitely stay at The Cottage at Penn Cove again.
