Great Getaway

We had an amazing time at this cute property! It is quiet and relaxing. We especially enjoyed the kayaks and aqua cycle! The cottage is perfect for a couple looking to unwind and relax!

Comfy, cozy cottage

Wonderful little cottage with spectacular views of the lake. The home is comfortable, clean, well stocked and well maintained. The hosts are accessible, helpful and friendly. We are already planning a return trip for the summertime.

The perfect getaway

A beautiful place with all the amenities and a million dollar waterfront view. It was also very quiet and peaceful and very convenient to Frankenmuth. We enjoyed our stay very much.

Corey & Carrie, You guys were 10 stars IN EVERY CATEGORY! I don't know what happened, but I clicked 5 stars in EVERY category! The house was SO clean, my cleaning lady was thrilled, she had an easy clean on a holiday weekend! Definitely an "over and above"! And EVERY house rule was followed +! PS It was nice to meet both of you and your adorable pups! Glad they got to swim on the sand bar! My daughter's dog loved the islands, she was a rescue (sadly passed away last year :((( ) and so she did not know how to "come". The islands were the only place she could run free! So we named one Izzy Island! It is on google! :) Thanks Carrie & Corey for being so understanding about the * mistake! We purchased this "dream" cottage to be able to have a place close by to enjoy some leisure time, since we both work a lot of hours. One of my gifts is hospitality and my husband loves to fish, and we wanted to pass on that love and gift to others, so we decided to share our dream with you!

Our property is so special & unique. We stayed in a VRBO many years ago, at the suggestion of a family member. We realized that staying at a real home, was more than a vacation, it was almost like we experienced living in the areas we visited! Sometimes we were just as happy enjoying the home, as we were running all over being a tourist and sightseeing! We were definitely more rested at the end of a vacation, and now anywhere we travel, we find a home to stay in. When we bought our own little cottage, we decided the place we loved visiting the most was Hawaii! So we created a little dream cottage with Hawaiian touches everywhere. The peace and feeling of complete joy we get every time we are at our little cottage, with the Aloha spirit, is a gift we wanted to share! We hope you will fall in love with it too, and that it will replenish your spirits with that true vacation you need!

Qué hace que este alojamiento sea especial

The peacefulness of being able to just jump on the aqua cycle and go out on the lake early in the morning, or as the sun sets. There are so many places you can go on Murphy Lake. You can ride around the whole lake, or just go find a cove, sit quietly and watch for beavers, herons, or eagles to come by. Catch fish right from the dock, or sit by the fire or read a book on the lanai. You won't want to go anywhere, but if you do, the charming antique stores in Millington are close by, or the most desired vacation spot in Michigan, Frankenmuth, little Bavaria, with something fun happening EVERY weekend all year long!
