Priscilla’s Hideaway is your perfect, peaceful, glamping getaway. Luxury camping with retro style! Tucked away in a beautiful Florida pine forest, Priscilla’s Hideaway is the best place to enjoy the Nations Oldest city, while still enjoying the peace and tranquility of Florida’s natural beauty. Just over 1 mile from historic downtown St. Augustine, on a private lot, with private entrance and driveway, this retro style camper has all the creature comforts you could ever want! A super comfy Queen sized bed, flatscreen TV, Wifi, great sitting area for enjoying meals, a fully equipped kitchen with two burner gas stove top, refrigerator, and microwave. Kitchen comes stocked with pots and pans, plates, bowls, cups, cutlery, coffee mugs, and french press. Cold A/C for the summers, and warm central heat for those chilly winter nights. Full bathroom and shower combo set up with continuous water, propane hot water heater, and sewer use during your stay. Outside the camper you have a charcoal grill, fire pit, lounge area, and picnic bench to truly immerse yourself into the serenity of the woods. Just a quick walk or bike ride to downtown with the city’s best restaurants, bars, and entertainment. Come and unwind at Priscilla’s Hideaway!

Quaint secluded location

The camper is a good size for a couple looking for a quick getaway. The location is very close to all downtown attractions and food. The host was friendly and very responsive with questions.

Beautiful hideaway

It was a beautiful place that felt secluded in the woods while being less than 10 minutes from St. Augustine. Aslyn was very communicative throughout our stay. Would definitely return.

Honeymoon

This was the perfect place to start our honeymoon! Very quiet and peaceful. Very clean and we were left hot teas to enjoy. We look forward to staying again on our way back through!

A quiet and cozy retreat

Tucked away not too far off the road, a great comfy space to relax and recharge. Not too far from historic downtown. Bed was very comfortable, had great communication with the owner, would definitely book with them again.

Cute Basecamp

The camper is very cute, and perfect for a couple people staying a couple nights. It is away from all the noise, but still a comfortable home-base to recuperate after an eventful day.

"Hidden" Camper in the woods

Wow, what a cozy & nice spot. Super close to all the major attractions in St. Augustine. Quiet area, makes it feel like you're in the middle of the woods at times. We missed out on meeting the dog on the property, hoping next time we get lucky. The shower was the only thing that caught me off guard, if I am being honest, it's a tight fit but it worked out and got the job done regardless. Definitely recommend this to other couples. We were in a time crunch but it was nice to know the option to grill and make a fire are available. Will definitely be back.

Absolutely Relaxing

Loved this cozy retro camper tucked away in the woods. So quiet and the host was absolutely amazing. Every question or concern was answered very quickly. Had a wonderful weekend will definitely be going back when the weather is cooler so I can enjoy the fire pit..

Great place for a peaceful rest.

The directions were accurate. Cute little area very private. Owners were very kind and checked to make sure we had everything we needed! They even turned on porch lights in case it was dark when we arrived. Great vacation!

Perfect little get-a-way

Went to a concert @ St Augustine Amphitheatre & needed a place to spend the night. Beautiful little camper off the beaten pass. Very private & just exactly what we wanted. A/C was cool. Plenty of running water. Very simple & exclusive. Loved it! Thanks so much.

BEST STAY FOR A STRESS FREE VISIT

we wanted to get away and relax without plans, and this stay was just perfect! everything was very clean and so many things were already stocked in the camper (towels, seasonings, coffee creamer, etc). We would wake up and use the supplied french press to enjoy to quiet cup of coffee, then plan our trip to the historic district. We enjoyed the stillness while still being only a 7-10 min drive to the parking garage downtown! the owner was super awesome to reach out before our trip began, and communicated with us daily throughout, answering any and all questions we had! we are already planning our next trip back to priscilla’s hideaway!

Mini get away

My hubby and I did a mini getaway. It was perfect for me but he doesn't enjoy camping so he wasn't as impressed. But overall it was a great experience. Nice little set up. Outside bugs were an issue (mosquitoes) but that's expected.

Little Slice of Heaven!!

My husband and I needed a quick getaway weekend. We found Pricilla’s Hideaway and quickly booked! Aslyn was WONDERFUL! She communicated amazingly and gave us great tips and recommendations during our stay! We decided to grill some Lobster tails and sit by the fire our last night instead of going out to eat. Perfect evening! We saw lightning bugs and danced by the light of the fire. Such a neat little place. It is nestled in this cute little wooded area and is very private. This was the most fun we have had in a long time! We are already looking at our calendar to see when we can book again!

A memorable stay!

The hosts were very welcoming and provided great information on the arrival and entry of the property. It is quite tucked in the woods, so without the specific info provided, would definitely be easy to miss!! The camper is quite quaint, and was a cozy place to crash. We had a wonderful fire, and listened to a very soothing choir of tree frogs next to the crackling fire. The only downside here, is the bed was barely tolerable. Basically was a piece of plywood with some cushioning. Could definitely feel the hard surface under you. There is also a shelf directly above your head (which I of course managed to whack my head on in the middle of the night trying to get comfy). If you're a 25 something, may not matter. But two 50 plus somethings both had aching bones. I still highly recommend this gem in the woods! Very short drive to downtown St Augustine.

Terrible area, unsleepable "bed."

I think these hosts tried to make this a pleasant stay for us. They left tea for us and had pretty twinkling lights in the trailer. The trailer was in a pleasant enough clearing in some woods, but the neighborhood around it is very trashy. The trailer is quite small, but we were prepared for that. A cockroach ran across the table in the trailer, but we are in Florida so we were not too disturbed by that. There were a LOT of mosquitos! The trailer had an empty spray bottle of OFF, and the picnic table outside had a burned out citronella candle. The small refrigerator had a small freezer with a very discolored ice cube tray. The freezer door was broken. It was so in need of being defrosted that we needed to break ice out of it to have enough room to put a bag of ice into the freezer. Now, the "bed." It was actually a futon fitted into the bed space in the trailer. It had about a 3" cotton pad, but no actual, proper mattress. It was horrible, like sleeping on a board with ridges on it. We left early the next morning and forfeited the rest of the money we had paid for another 2 nights. The whole experience was expensive because we needed to pay for a hotel also, and very disappointing. If you want to give this a try, ask if it has been upgraded with a proper mattress.

Perfect getaway

Beautiful little caravan hidden in a private paradise! The host had the caravan ready a few hours early for check-in. This was a pleasant surprise after our long journey in! The host kept great communication and made sure our stay was perfect. We plan to stay again when we visit St. Augustine!

A beautiful enchanted nature experience

My stay was amazing. Everything I needed in one space that's felt bigger than it was. The pictures don't do much justice. You have to experience it to feel the calming energies of the entire area. The host was very welcoming and her name is amazing Aslyn💞💞 such a beautiful name. I didn't want to go home. And I ask to stay another night and she agreed quickly. Very honest amazing souls. I will be coming back soon. Warm blessings 🌻🌻🌞

Intimate Honeymoon

My wife and I had a great time at the property. The space was just big enough for the two of us and 10 minutes from downtown St Augustine. Aslyn was very communicative and expressed his desire to meet our needs in any way possible. He also put up clear instructions that helped us understand the functions of the camper. If you've ever been curious on what it's like to live in a camper or RV this is a good trial run. We would absolutely come back.

Charming stay

The host was kind, responsive, and informative. The spot once you get to it, is very cute and as seen in the photos. Great place to relax in nature and get fresh air 🙂
