Enjoy this newly redone, spacious (1,200 SF) lower level apartment complete with a private entrance, full kitchen, full bathroom with bathtub, and a private bedroom space. Kick back and watch TV, cook a fresh meal, take a hot bath, or relax on the comfortable King-size bed. Perfect for multi-night travelers looking for a large, relaxing, and quiet space to unwind. Sleeps 5 plus a pull out couch.

Spacious lower level was clean, private with plenty of room for the three of us. The beds were very comfortable and we were very close to Ada Village with great restaurants and shopping.

Great Place!

We had a great experience here! We needed a 1-bight stay in the grand Rapids area where we could bring our two young children. Linda was very responsive with anything we needed and the place is very tastefully decorated, updated and comfortable. It is close to restraunts as well. Very nice

We chose this property because we were attending the Grand Rapids Triathlon and the property was very close to the event. The host was very quick to answer questions and accommodating our request for early check in and late check out. We found the property to be quiet, clean and welcoming. Linda was a FANTASTIC host! The space is even better than the pictures in the listing. Great location and within minutes of everything we wanted to pack into our weekend. We will most definitely be staying with Linda again!

Difficult to navigate on multiple levels

We knew there was no sidewalk to the entrance and expected the challenge to get to the door. What we didn't expect was inadequate lighting as well. The walk was extremely difficult for the member of our party who was mobility challenged and visually impaired. The sprinkler system was also going multiple times as we were trying to come and go, changing the walk. Ran out of tp the second morning, found no paper good storage, owner responded.

Comfy and Clean

We had a lovely one night stay. The unit was clean, well stocked and apparently newly remodeled, with some finish work remaining. After poor sleep at a previous stop, the bed was heavenly comfortble and we slept soundly. Premium refrigerator and induction cooktop. Although there is no dishwasher, the kitchen was well stocked with new items (dishes, knives, towels, glasses, etc) and we prepared, cooked and cleaned up breakfast. We find the pictures provided accurate. The unit is accessed though back yard patio well sliding door located under a deck, which provides a nice overhang. It was raining, so we had to walk through grass to the door, pile on the generously sized door mat, and then return. The parking spot at the end of driveway and private entrance are nice amenities. We used the bedroom only. The large windows that allow in abundant natural light during the day don't have any coverings for nighttime. The layout requires a pass through of the great room between bedroom and bath. In addition, the two twins are in the great room. Due to the lack of window coverings in the great room, we felt a bit exposed when at nighttime (or the dark rain storm), which would be amplified for anyone sleeping in the great room. Overall, a smooth transaction and restful stopover.

Great place to stay!

Lovely place to stay, very spacious and clean. Very friendly host who was great with communication. Nice and close to lots of fun stores and restaurants in Grand Rapids!

Great Location for Grand Rapids Tri

This was probably the best possible location for a group that has a participant in the Grand Rapids Tri. The property was nice and clean and has everything that you need for your stay. My only complaints are that there is not a pathway from the driveway around back to the door of the property so you have to walk through the grass which can be wet and that all the furniture moves pretty easily on tile floor which was a little dangerous for our crawling baby who pulls himself up on things. Not deal breakers at all and wouldn't bother most people. 10/10 would stay here again!!

Great space

The setting was wonderful for our ministry retreat to plan for the upcoming year. There was plenty of room and comfortable sitting for everyone. We prepared our meals in the full kitchen but had to improvise on some of the kitchen tools for meal prep and cooking. Also, no oven for baking. Quiet and relaxing retreat!

Very nice place and area.

Nice and clean. Looked like there must have been some construction going on, seemed to have a lot of materials around the entrance. Not necessarily in the way, just wish we had an area to sit outside our living space. Owners responded on a timely manner with any questions we had.

great place to stay on the way to Upper Peninsula

We were very satisfied with the accommodations. It is garden apartment in a single family home with huge front and back yard in a quiet suburbs od Grand Rapids MI The only problem was the shower was not working and due to no internet connection we could not communicate with owner.
