The Orchard

This beautiful, large single family home has 6 bedrooms & 3 bathrooms. It is fully handicap accessible & located in a peaceful neighborhood a mile or less from shopping centers, fair grounds, restaurants, gas stations, churches, temples, entertainment, etc. in South Jordan, UT. There is bed space for 15 but can sleep up to 22 (with additional air mattresses). The property has a fully fenced backyard, 25+ fruit trees (plum, pear, apple, etc.), & a grape vineyard. Our home is perfect for a weekend of skiing, hiking, mountain biking, rock climbing, group outing, weddings, or family reunion. We are just 17 miles from Snowbird Ski Resort. Pets are allowed with a pet fee.

We rented this property for a few months and Joseph was wonderful to work with. We had several employees staying and he was so great to all of them. Would definitely recommend staying here for large groups.

Handicap accessible

Amazing to find a place to stay so close to where we need to be that had enough accessible rooms for 3 different individuals. The kids enjoyed the fire pit.

Inacurate discrimination

The property was in a great location and was clean. Unfortunately, the reason we chose this particular property was because of the number of beds it listed. When we arrived we found that the 3 beds it said it had in family room werent there. The couches did not even fold out. We contacted the owner who said there were blow up mstrmatresses, not exactly the same as a bed that was listed, we found the mattresses but absolutely no bedding to go on them! There were a couple extra blankets in the bedroom closet but no pillws, no sheets and not enough not enough blankets to even make up the beds. I contacted the owner who offered to bring some bedding over we said that would be great. That was the last we heard from him. No bedding was ever delivered. He never answered my last message.

Good family house

We stayed here because of the locality to family who are residents of the area. It easily had plenty of room for over a dozen people for multiple age groups. The check in process was fairly easy and we were able to get situated very quickly. Everything was clean and I did have pets that stayed with us. We ensured to leave the house clean as we received it and the owner gave us a full refund for the pet deposit.

Family time

We had a great vacation. We tried the nearby water park and kids loved it . The location was near all activities. Backyard was beautiful. We loved wheelchair ramps in front and back yards . This home is beautiful and spacious.

Short Stay

Our family went to Utah for a funeral and stayed at this property. It was clean and well-stocked. The backyard and small orchard would have been fun for kids. The shower in the primary bedroom didn't drain but that was the only problem with the property. I didn't appreciate that the listed price included up to 20 people, which we had, but we were still charged for an extra person.

Awesome home base for visiting family

The house was exactly what we needed. My brother's family and my own stayed at the house. It had plenty of space and is in good condition. It has everything a family would need including a large kitchen, large game room and a wash room. The house is set up for handicap visitors with a ramp, special bathroom and a small elevator in the garage. The owner was very communicative. One note that we missed due to an early ski day was the need to get the trash out on Tuesday. We loved it, and will be back when we are visiting family again.

Elegant and accessible

Perfect place for anyone going to an event at the equestrian center. The house was abundantly large with 2 very nice tvs. Our 88yo Aunt appreciated the roll in shower and shower bench, and the shower downstairs with 3 nozzles was luxurious! The fruit trees were our only problem because of the dogs wanting to eat the fallen fruit, but I would deal with that in a heartbeat because of the other benefits.

Traveling with elderly parents

We really appreciated the ease this property provided our family while in SLC! Both my parents (80+ years old) are physically challenged and the 1st floor roll in shower and smooth floor surfaces were perfect. In addition, the fruit trees and roses added to the beauty of our stay.

Winter ski trip, family get-together

The home was great for our group. It was 6 bedrooms and 3 well supplied bathrooms, with plenty of room to spread out. It is also handicap accessible, if needed, but we did not need that option. The game table downstairs was nice and a small assortment of games available. The garage was a nice touch to be able to use for a vehicle. Close to gas stations, grocery stores, restaurants, and about 18 miles from the airport. Less than an hour to ski locations. The owners were very responsive both before and during our stay with any questions we had. I would highly recommend this home and the home owners!

Great place to stay!

All communication was promptly responded to. The home was clean and met our needs in every way, including access for our handicapped family member in a wheelchair. Other handicapped features; shower stove, and entrance fit our needs. Loved the home and location.

Perfect location at the mouth of the canyon

We loved this basement rental. Owner was easy to communicate with, and we had everything we needed. It was the perfect location to go up the canyon easy but still have access to restaurants and stores.

This is a peaceful, quiet neighborhood. It has many fruit trees, a fenced in backyard, and a lovely, welcoming layout for all, including those with handicap needs!
