Parking is problematic. Especially for larger vehicles. Have to park 3 deep and that means parking people in. Have to leave cell phone on parking pass so people can call to request you move your vehicle. Would recommend this only in the slower seasons. Unit itself was ok. Ant issue in kitchen...could not leave food on counter. Was asked to send picture. We purchased ant traps. Dryer wasn't working so couldn't do laundry. Would be nice if shower was available to rinse off from beach only one by pool which was not easy to get to. The should add 2nd one on other pool corner for A B C units. Used kiddie pool in units storage filled on our porch to rinse off.

Great value for oceanfront property. Roomy and comfortable. Could use about 20 times the number of towel racks and places to hang things up inside the condo but this is a frequent complaint of mine. The parking for the building is a little fraught as you have to park end to end with different tenants and be available 24/7 to move your car (your cell phone number is on the parking pass). This did not present a problem for us but it is not hard to imagine a circumstance where it could for someone else. The location of the building is ideal for those planning to go out deep sea fishing (one block from marina) or to ride the giant ferris wheel and visit the boardwalk shops -- all walkable distance from there. This unit has a great ocean view it is high enough to see it well.

Condo was dated. No way to keep sand cleaned up. Constantly sweeping. Some electrical outlets in living room uncovered and not completely in wall. Needs updated washer and dryer. Dryer was so full of lint behind the back of the machine, it needs the back removed and cleaned properly to prevent dryer fire. We did not use. Refrigerator had to be set on higher temperature to maintain coldness. Parking is absolutely miserable. Constantly blocked in and had to call person that was blocking you to move so you could get out. Nice thing about general location is the beach was very nice and close to eating establishments. We would not rent this particular unit again.

Perfect location. Only real complaint is the bed in the bunkbed room was way to low to the ground for a 55 adult. Kitchen supplies were plentiful. The deck and pool were great. I would stay there again.

On the Beach

Clean and roomy property with a large covered veranda overlooking the pool and beach. Easy access to the beach by a boardwalk next to the property. Just a few blocks easy walking to restaurants and the marina. We would definitely stay there again.

Parking at this property is not great if you've got a bigger car. We have an atlas and it would not fit with a roofbox on top. There is also a narrower lane for the B units which was made smaller than others due to the stairs. It was barely wide enough to get out with my mirrors folded in. The fire alarm went off twice in the night on two seperate days for no apparent reason. The fire department came both times and couldn't find any issues, so no clue why it was happening. The furniture outside was worn and the dining chairs inside were not very sturdy. I was expecting a bit more for what we paid. You can tell the unit has not been updated in some time, and though it's cleaned it is not well maintained. One of the sliding doors wouldn't open, the fans feels extremely loose, the furniture was very worn and the mattresses were stiff. We loved the view but will not be coming back to this unit.

Great place

This was perfect for our spring break! Love the large deck and the master bedroom with ocean views. There was plenty of room for us all to stretch out. The location is great—close enough to walk to the boardwalk but far enough away from the noise to enjoy peace and rest.

Great spot to stay

Perfrct spot for a vacation with grands and kiddos. The bedrooms are spacious and the split with 2 in back and one in front was great for travel with kids. We also could walk almost everywhere. Will stay here again.

The property was larger than expected and clean upon arrival. The ktichen was well stocked with everything we needed for the week. The pool was large and clean. The location was perfect, right on the beach and just the right distance from the boardwalk for easy access but away from hustle and bustle. We loved the new wooden walkway to the beach and it made easy access. We loved it and would return again.

Overall a pleasant stay. View and location is amazing. AC works great. Appliances are clean and functional. The kitchen counters look fairly new. Huge balcony to spread out on and relax. Pool is a nice amenity to have, but there is no shade midday. The beach has a lifeguard, and there are also chairs and umbrellas available for rent. And there are ice cream and Italian ice vendors that roll down the beach during the summer. Minor downsides:- Bring toiletries and laundry detergent. Only bar soap, dish soap, and dishwasher pods are provided. - The ceiling does not insulate sound and steps from the condo above that well. - Parking not great. Tenants have to park under the building in bays that hold 3 cars each, meaning someone is stuck in the middle. For most bays, only the last car can actually get out. If you’re trapped, you have to call the driver’s phone number posted on the parking permit and ask them to come move. If you’re on the end, be prepared to receive a call at any point from the owners of the cars in front of you. - SUV’s w/ Thule’s on top will not fit under building to park. - Bring your own non-stick pans. The ones at this condo are rough looking. - You only get one dish towel and one hand towel per bathroom. Bring extras or prepare to do laundry often. - Either the carafe or the coffee filter basket are not the originals. The carafe does not align well with the basket bottom, so the liquid can overflow from the filter basket while it’s brewing.

Great location and comfortable home

We loved our time at My Paradise. The location was perfect for us, the large deck, where we spent a lot of time was comfortable and inviting. Our fur baby loved the space too. We enjoyed the ease of access to the beach. The place was clean and contained all we needed for our stay. The only 2 negatives: was the inability to fully open the freezer door. The bar keeps it from fully opening. It was logistically interesting to put our container of frozen breakfast sandwiches and ice cream into. And the unlock door code did not always work; the office gave us keys which we used to enter the condo instead of continuing to use the code to enter. We would stay here again.

Pros: The Condo was great!! Very clean!! Communication was excellent with staff!! Cons: parking is horrible.. getting calls all during the day and night to move cars and trying to get your car out. Fire alarm went off twice in 1 night. Apparently it’s common and I wasn’t aware due to the salt air. I have stayed many places in Carolina Beach and never experienced that. Towel rack was broken when we arrived in the master bath and there was a hole in the wall.

Little piece of perfect!

This is the perfect location! It was very clean and all the basic necessities that you might need to get started. Check in was super easy and the management was SO SUPER helpful with any questions we had. The view from here and the location is amazing!!!! The parking can be tricky but wasn't terrible, Id recommend renting a golf cart it made getting around super easy and you can park easier. This rental is on the 3rd floor so 2 flights of stairs just in case you have a hard time with stairs. I didnt like that the sliding doors did not lock but I did let mgmt know. Its a safety thing for me but the only bad thing I would have to say. Thonly downside is the parking

Resort Prices with Econo Accommodations

The view can’t be beat but disappointed with accommodations. Spindles on deck needed to be fastened and secured. There were 2 spindles that were very loose. Had to be really careful with toddlers. 2 toilet paper rolls for 6 people for 3 days. Didn’t realize we had to purchase them. Blankets need to be washed Pillows replaced or washed Dish rack and chopping board was dirty Refrigerator was at a high temperature Took a full 24 hours to a doable temperature All clocks on appliances were off Dishwasher needed drying agent; dishes looked cloudy so we washed everything prior to using it. Sink faucet needs to be tightened Suggest a clock in bedrooms Suggest more coffee cups! All mugs were mismatched dollar store finds Update cookware, teflon pans needs to be replaced Update shower curtains, curtains were definitely dollar store items The only saving grace was the beautiful view which can’t be beat and it’s right on the beach!

A Week in Paradise

We recently spent a week at "My Paradise," and it was nearly everything we could have wished for. The kitchen came fully equipped with plenty of dishes and cookware, making in-house meals a breeze. The sleeping arrangements were mostly comfortable, thanks to a king size bed that very comfortable and a bottom bunk bed that was surprisingly cozy. The view from the condo was the highlight of our stay, offering us ocean views that were truly breathtaking. The pool area was well-maintained and included an outside shower. We also appreciated the large balcony. It was also a pleasant surprise to find pool and beach toys available for our use, and the air conditioning throughout the condo was exceptionally cold, providing much-needed relief from the heat. Surrounding shopping and activities were within walking distance. The condo is accessible only via multiple flights of stairs, which presented a challenge for older members of our party. The full-size bed was notably hard and uncomfortable, and the top bunk of the bunk beds was disruptively loud whenever occupied. Parking was another obstacle due to a tandem parking arrangement and spaces that were not designed to accommodate larger vehicles, making coming and going a bit of a hassle. Lastly, we noticed the cleaning tools like the broom and mop could be replaced, and the vacuum cleaner hadn't been emptied.
