Private home, 3 bedroom 2 bath on lake with ducks and swans in security guarded village. Bring your fishing pole catch and release right in front of the house.. Short walking distance to beach. Private parking for beach. Golf cart included with rental. Waterpark for the kids, pools and hot tub. Playground close to house. Fenced-in Dog park. Very short drive to boardwalk at Myrtle Beach. Many places to visit like, Murrells Inlet ( Drunken Jacks, Dead Dog Saloon, Marsh Walk) Broadway at the Beach (Margaritaville, Aquarium, Dave and Busters just to name a few)

Family Vacation July 2

The property was accurately described. We enjoyed the neighborhood and the location. Our 3 year old LOVED the splash pad! The golf cart was a great convenience. The only negative was not being able to ride outside of the neighborhood with golf cart. It’s not a huge deal because you can still take it to beach access. Overall, it was a great vacation. Debra was very communicative and pleasant. Would stay here again!

Great location but the place was a little dirty. The floors need a really good cleaning because they have so much sand on them. We needed to go the store and buy a frypan because we were afraid to use them because the Teflon was almost all off and we only had the trash bag that was in the can so we had to buy them also. There are only 5 towels so we had to wash them a couple times and the dryer takes forever. If we return to Myrtle Beach we will definitely find somewhere else to stay.

Easy Peasy

We’ve stayed in Oceanside Village for quite a few years now and at Debbie’s place now for 2 years. We love being able to sit on the deck by the pond and my husband and son enjoy fishing it. Check in is easy. The golf cart had a little issue, but it was repaired the next day. It didn’t affect us since the pool and park are in walking distance and the beach parking has spots for vehicles. As some reviews have said the bedrooms are small, but since we spend all our time having fun, the bedrooms sizes don’t matter. They worked for exactly what we needed. The house stayed pretty cool as long the blinds and doors are kept shut. Everything that is supplied within the home makes things very easy. We love this house. The open living room, kitchen, and dining area are roomy and nice. The house was clean. We had myself, husband, a 3 year old, 13 year old, another husband and wife with their 8 year old and 13 year old and there was plenty of space. Will absolutely be back again!

Vacation

Debbie is very nice and communicates with you. Overall, the bedrooms are very, very small. All of the windows are blinds only. The door doesn’t have anything on it. Let’s just say going in the middle of summer, it’s very hot, even with the AC on. Kitchen wasn’t stocked with measuring cups which was frustrating. When I arrived at the property, there was dirt all over the floor. I had to sweep each room. It was very Sandy like it hadn’t been cleaned. The bottom of the door frame in the hall bathroom was all chewed up and didn’t look very nice.

Nice place

We like Oceanside Village because of its proximity to the beach and the low key, quiet atmosphere of the surroundings. The owner was responsive and easy to work with.

Needs a little TLC but nice area!

We didn’t get to stay but half our trip due to some unsettling news. The owners were very nice and accommodating when issues came up. Internet was the BEST, had streaming on every tv (and tvs in every single room including Charter app). We had a few issues in our stay, golf cart had a flat but they brought us theirs, a ceiling fan blade broken they brought a box fan for us. Think the place is beautiful but needs a little more TLC. Hot water barely lasted one shower, that was a big issue for us it being so cold outside. The bedrooms were extremely small, had to put luggage all in hallway and living room or kids room. We loved being able to ride the golf cart through the community and had a straight shot to the beach only had to cross one road! It’s notable to mention paperwork says the golf cart is not always guaranteed to work so it’s just a bonus, don’t rent for just that. Beach pass has to be purchased though. I hate our stay didn’t go well but we are grateful for the opportunity to visit the beach off season

Disappointed

The top bunk beds were unstable my granddaughter was afraid to get on them they made a creaking noise every time they moved, there was only one usable beach chair and I was told there was 8 and only 1 beach mat and there should have been 2

Perfect Getaway

Property was clean, plenty of room for 6 people and still had privacy. So close to the beach and the golf cart was such a great added bonus!

Great Family Memories Made

We loved the location of this village. It’s close proximity to shops and restaurants and Beach!! It was wonderful having the golf cart!! I would say it’s crucial to have for going back n forth to beach and great for evening rides. This property had everything we needed and was very clean. There was a problem of fire ants on the deck but other than that , everything was good. Our Family had a great time!
