A beautifully renovated apartment in a safe neighborhood with a fully equipped kitchen and modern bathroom, all located less than a block away from Metra train station. Great for groups, family retreats, business trips, or vacations. This property has 1 bedrooms and 1 bathroom.

The kitchen is outfitted with appliances and almost every tool you will need to cook your favorite meals! This includes a gas stove, refrigerator, microwave, and coffee maker.

This place has free private parking and additional free street parking. Within walking distance, there are bars and restaurants. The public library is only a couple of blocks away. Grocery stores like Marianos, Jewel Osco, Walmart, Sam's Club, Costco, and Fresh Market as well as improvements stores like Lowes, Home Depot, and Menards are in close proximity. Hospitals like Northwest Community Hospital and Lutheran General Hospital are 5 to 8 miles away. The O'hare airport is 20 minutes from the apartment and 35-40 min to Chicago Downtown. To the southwest, there is Busse Forest with accessibility to fishing, walking, biking, and picnic. Woodfield Mall and Fashion Outlets of Chicago are both a 15-minute drive. River Casino in Des Plaines is also a 15 min drive, and a little further Grand Victoria Casino in Elgin is 40 minutes away to the West. If this is not enough, Great America is 40 minutes to the North. Do you like animals? Brookfield Zoo and Lincoln Zoo are good options to visit.

You don't have to worry about food, entertainment, or adventure all within reach.

The location has comforts of home. Casa is a great host. Very responsive. She took care of our requests and made us very comfortable right down to promptly clearing the driveway according to our schedule after a late fall snowstorm. Great place to stay. A Starbucks and grocery store/bakery/eating place within walking distance.

Mt prospect apartment 1 king bed, one bath

This place is charming. Great for one or 2. The owner was very quick to respond to all questions or concerns. The area is so close to restaurants etc. It is clean and cozy and had that we needed and then some

Cozy and Clean Apartment

I thought the apartment was great. the neighborhood was really nice and there were restaurants close by. The bedroom was bigger than I expected, the bed was comfortable and the place was super clean. Highly recommend!

Great Stay!!

Great place for 1-2 people. My stay was an extended one and everything I needed was provided. Very responsive owner and has great customer service. Highly recommend it for business; ORD is close and the train to the city is less than a block. Super clean!

Home away from home

This was my third time staying in this amazing place, and it just keeps getting better and better! It such a comfortable, cozy little hideaway, perfect for me. I love the new updated features. The kitchen has everything you can possibly wish for, and the location is perfect. I can't wait to come back!

Great Suburban Location-Very Comfortable

This was a GREAT property for my visit!! It's cozy, but extremely comfortable from the bed and the decor, to all the extra things that are stocked (kitchen supplies, spices, toiletries, good towels and more). The location was PERFECT as downtown Mt. Prospect is so walkable. Even though a coffee maker and some coffee were available, I took several AM walks for coffee to both the local Starbucks as well as Central Continental Bakery (do NOT miss this gem). I also had a great breakfast at Honey Biscuit. The place is well-stocked for cooking, but there are multiple restaurants within walking distance if you prefer not to cook, including Mrs. P and Me right across the street (which I also enjoyed). The Metra train stop is so close and you can easily make your way into Chicago. Owner communication was a breeze and there was even an overnight parking spot to use (which is nice since not allowed in downtown Mt. Prospect). I love when I find a good rental and this one does not disappoint. I would love to use again for future visits to the area.

Just right for one, okay for two

The owner provided a immaculately clean apartment, which was very comfortable for the two of us. The king bed is firm and comfortable. The bathroom is small but functional, with plenty of bath linens. The kitchen is well furnished with appliances, pots, pans, dishes, cups and glasses. The pantry is full of a variety of spices and some leftover staples from previous guests, which we were told to utilize as we wished. Dedicated on-site parking was convenient. We did not eat locally but there were a variety of restaurants and bars within a short walking distance. Negatives: 1) Very skinny driveway. Ford Edge just cleared the chimney protrusion on the front building. 2) CTA tracks and station are one block away. So, train noise is to be expected but very convenient if one needs mass transit. 3) Screen/storm door would not close entirely. 4) No canopy protection over the front door.

Gem of a Property

This property is absolutely wonderful. Perfect for a two person stay. EXTREMELY clean, well-stocked, excellent furnishings, easy check-in/out, responsive/quick owner communication, a wonderful location close to a variety of restaurants and the Mount Prospect Metra stop. One of the best properties I've stayed at via VRBO. Highly Recommended.

Lovely Find

This apartment was a great find for us! It was clean, bright and attractive, and well stocked with everything we needed. It was in a safe quiet neighborhood close to shops, restaurants, and the train to downtown Chicago. We stayed here while visiting nearby family and definitely plan to rent this apartment again. I highly recommend it!

Charming Staycation Property

We spent four nights here for a staycation in the area. The apartment was immaculately clean--very cute and well laid-out. Elizabeth was great at communicating with us throughout our stay. The neighborhood was adorable and very serene--went for a jog several times and felt totally safe. Easy drive to the airport as well. Parking was also easy in and out and tucked well back away from the street. I would absolutely recommend staying here to anyone looking to relax or use it as a jumping off point to visit the area!

Great Stay

This is a good place to stay in a nice suburb of Chicago. Within waking distance to the train, Starbucks, and a restaurant with outdoor seating. The neighborhood is quiet, and although near the train, we did not hear it in the apartment. The bed was very comfortable. Perfect for one to two people. Newer renovation, clean, and parking near your entrance. The apartment is in the back of the building, so it was somewhat confusing from the street. I would stay again if available, it was close to our daughter's home in Des Plaines.
