The Chickamauga Dam closes in order to prevent flooding issues throughout the state of Tennessee. This necessary closure results in decreased water levels in our area. From the months of mid-October through mid-March there may be little to no water in our deck area so boating and fishing will not be available during this time.

Our beloved breathtaking cabin resort features 6532 square feet of private heated living space, boasting an impressively detailed main cabin, pool cabin, sauna cabin, and three guests cabins as described below.

Our lodge was built in 2013 with American craftsmanship featuring stunning artisan beams, wood mantels and high attention to detail in every way. The spectacular details emanate all the love and thought put into our home. Our property is private and no one else lives or rents on the property.

Cabin Property Breakdown:

The lodge’s main cabin, Mystic Lodge, boast a fully equipped kitchen with a double oven, coffee bar, wine bar, gas stove, 2 separate sinks and a spacious walk-in pantry. The locally custom wood table (9FT long) in the formal dining room has ample seating and is also conveniently located off of the kitchen. Six 4FT wooden benches surround this table for an intimate dinging experience with your closest friends and family. Natural light fills this entire area through a wall of windows showcasing the lakeside scenic view. All the cabinetry is rustic solid wood with natural knots, soft close drawers and doors. The main living room and all bedrooms have their own TVs with Dish Network and remotes. Two fireplaces adorn this cabin’s living areas, one in the Great Room and another in the downstairs Tavern.

Mystic River Tavern @ Mystic Lodge
At the bottom level of Mystic Lodge, you will find “Mystic River Tavern”, an entertainer's dream. This expansive tavern has a full bar area complete with a custom exotic built 360 wooden bars complete with stools, two kegerators (Guests are responsible for providing kegs and CO2, there are local vendors that sell kegs-ask for more details upon booking), storage cabinets, a mini refrigerator, bar ware and 2 overhead TV’s.

A beautiful wooden pool table will provide hours of fun along with mounted dart board and bar games hidden amongst the intricately themed tavern decor. Guests have the opportunity to enjoy a homemade cocktail while gazing at the tavern’s eye-catching gas fireplace set in ledger stone.

Our new wooden gaming table is programmed with over 1000 nostalgic arcade games from Pac Man and Frogger to Mario Bros! Kids and adults will have fun for hours on end. Mystic Pool and spa @ Mystic Lodge
Our latest addition is an expansion of the main Lodge by 900 SQFT with the addition of an indoor pool, spa and sitting area. The pool is maintained year-round with heated water and temperature-controlled room. The pool is 31x10 FT of swim area. The spa is 7x7 and has separate controls to heat it.

Mystic River Cinema @ Mystic Lodge
“Mystic River Cinema” is the perfect place to relax and unwind. Here you and your guests can relax on three oversized, double reclining sofas complete with cup holders. Help yourself to our media center and theatre with surround sound. Hollywood and Broadway inspired decor adorn its rich dark wooden walls creating a warm and cozy spot to watch the big screen. Over 100 DVDs available for your entertainment!

Mystic River Fitness@ Mystic Lodge

“Mystic River Fitness” offers access to modern gym with exercise equipment such as a Marci Pro smith rack with 300lbs of free weights and 200 lbs. of dumbbells. Exercise in comfort on top of our 3/4 interlocking workout mat flooring. Yoga equipment is also available, including a mat, yoga blocks and ball. There is also an elliptical machine, ready for a cardio workout session.

Mystic Lodge’s Outdoor Kitchen

Outdoors on the main floor you will find a large wrap around wooden porch with heavy wooden rocking chairs, and below on the lower level is a complete outdoor kitchen including a smoker, large grill and skillet burner.

Mystic Retreat

This is first of Mystic River Lodges guest cabins. “The Retreat” offers a studio like setup including a full kitchen complete with a refrigerator with freezer, stove, oven, sink, granite countertop and wooden cabinets. The rustic inspired decor adorn the living area with king bed and queen-size pull-out couch. There is a full bathroom and storage closet. A mounted TV and DVD player offer hours of entertainment. Outdoors a wraparound porch with heavy wooden rockers offers views of the main cabin, river and surrounding property.

Mystic Bunk

This is the second of the guest cabins. This two-room cabin has unique charm, with a cozy living room complete with a queen bed. In a separate room you will find two sets of twins sized wooden bunk beds with individual staircases leading to each. Off of the bedroom is the kitchenette, the perfect place to prepare light meals and snacks and holds conveniences such as a wood top sink, microwave, refrigerator/freezer, toaster oven and a Keurig coffee maker. This cabin also includes a full bathroom.

Mystic Loft

This is the third of the guest cabins. This one room cabin has wood walls details with recessed LED lights, living room, kitchenette, and full bathroom. From the living room there are two loft platform containing a king bed on one side and a twin bed on the other. Both of these loft sections require the ability to climb up a custom wood ladder to access. The living room has a futon couch that converts to a twin bed and a TV with DVD. The kitchenette has a sink, Keurig coffee maker, mini frig, microwave and a toaster/over. The bathroom has a sink, shelves, toilet and shower.

Mystic River Dock - now with extra 40 ft of board walk.

Lakeside offers stunning views of the Chickamauga River during the spring and summer months. During winter months the water recedes due to the local dam closure and our dock becomes bare of water.

Kayaks, life vests and ores are available for guest use with a $100 wear fee and a $300 refundable deposit. Let us know that you are interested upon booking to receive your Kayak lock codes.

During the summer and spring season you will see fishermen in boats waiting for their next catch. Our wooden dock offers an area for fishing, tying a boat and sightseeing while sitting on our comfortable Adirondack chairs. There are local marinas that offer pontoon and watercraft rentals.

Mystic River Fire Pit

Imagine a spot to roast marshmallows, hotdogs and soak in the warmth of the glowing fire. Mystic River fire pit is a round stone pit, surrounded by six Adirondack chairs with 2 Adirondack rocking benches in the background. The optimal gathering spot for laughter and stories.
