Wet Feet Retreat! Lake front cabin in quiet cove.

Come enjoy this lake front cabin and enjoy some of the best sun rises from the patio. Or enjoy gazing at the moon and night sky from the fire pit at our sand beach. Walk out the front door and enjoy fishing, kayaking, and swimming. Bring your boat as this property has a new dock to tie up your boat. Owner will have their boat on lift so bring your bumpers to tie up. You can launch your boat at the Possum Kingdom State Park boat ramp (5 miles away by vehicle). Inside the cabin you will find that it comfortably sleeps 6 adults, bedding available for 8 adults. The property is located in a no wake zone great for fishing Striped Bass. If you love to surf, go right around the corner from the cabin to enjoy a nice cove with deep water. Hells Gate and most restaurants are short boat ride away.

Great place

We really enjoyed our stay, fishing was good at the dock we caught some big catfish, it was very relaxing sitting by the fire pit in the evenings, and neighbor guy was very friendly and brought a trampoline for our kids to jump on, very nice place will definitely be booking again soon

Beautiful Lake Front

We had a great stay. The road to the property is a little tight with a boat and trailer, but not too crazy. We had a small issue with the mini-split a/c, but it was workable and owner was very responsive. Would definitely stay there again.

Great weekend spot

So many extras included that you don’t get everywhere. If u forgot something, they have you covered! Beds were very comfortable. Lake is beautiful. Pretty sure the kayaks are child size. Great weekend spot!

Amazing views & peaceful location

This is a great property to truly unplug & enjoy the lake. We wished we would have known there was no cell coverage though, and the WiFi will not allow a virtual mtg. This home was sparkling clean with many thoughtful touches.

Family weekend get away

The property was excellent. Well stocked right on the lake little cabin. Perfect for a family with kids. We took 3 small dogs with us. This neighborhood has alot of dogs running around. They are not aggressive by no means. But if your outside they just run through the property. Kind of like free range pets. I really didn't like that. If you have dogs or don't care to be around dogs this cabin is not for you.

Water front, great dock! Great fishing!

The house is small and nicely arranged! The kitchen has all the utensils you need to cook inside or outdoors! My husband loved that he could keep his boat tied up at the dock. Dogs are welcomed with open arms! They even had two dish bowls ready for our fur baby! The only thing I could see was the house may not be big enough for oversized people.

Peaceful serenity on PK

Looking for a simple cabin on the water with peaceful water with a dock? You have found the right place. An adorable cabin with just enough space for 6. Get away from the hustle and bustle and see a gorgeous view of the stars. Kayak in the lake or just enjoy it from the dock. PK state park is just a short 10 minutes away with access to a boat ramp and a beach. The cabin is well stocked with everything, you will honestly be surprised at how much the owners have provided in a small space. Great shade in the back in the afternoon with sitting areas where you can enjoy a fire or just sit around with your friends and family. Communication with the owner was a breeze and we had a fantastic time enjoying the water!!

Cute little place on the water

I love the convenience of having a slip as part of the rental. I appreciated all of the supplies (coffee, filters, sandwich bags, foil, seasonings, etc), it was so convenient! And the even the neighbors were nice and welcoming and let us use their launch for our seadoo. A note for those with boats... it's a dirt road so you may want to consider covering your boat if you are driving it to the property. If it's 20+ ft you also might want to take it straight to the PK boat launch as it's a bit tricky to maneuver w/o having to pull into other people's property to turn around (we brought a 25ft wake boat).We'd stay there again!

A completely fabulous weekend from start to finish.

My family and I wanted a house right on Possum Kingdom Lake to rent for my birthday weekend. We found the perfect one! It was literally yards away from the water, had a boat dock, cute back porch, and a ramp to walk right out into the water for swimming. The owners provided 2 kayaks for us to use free of charge. Everything was clean and well taken care of. The beds were amazing too. They even left us some goodies to help us celebrate our weekend away. The neighborhood was private and dog friendly. I couldn't have asked for a better place to celebrate my birthday. We will definitely be back. And the neighbor, David, was a great unexpected bonus to our weekend. He spoiled our kids and even took them tubing. A very family friendly neighborhood.

It was a nice place to stay at the lake. It was away from the park. Long dirt road to get there. Didn't use the kayaks because the kids were afraid of the spiders. Wish we could have cleaned the chairs at the fireplace. Maybe in the spring.

Weekend Trip

We had an amazing time out on the lake. This home is the perfect place to take refuge after a day on the lake. Also very nice to have a place to pull your boat up to mid day and make lunch. It is centrally located on the lake as far as boating goes but a bit away from any stores on land. With that said, make sure you bring any groceries you are planning to use. As far as essentials for the stay. This home had everything we needs and more!! Overall a great experience!!

We LOVED our stay! The rooms were perfect for our needs! Nice bedding, great shower, and the owners have thought of plenty of details for the kitchen. We had a little trouble getting the cable to work due to an error on Direct TV’s part and we have got the Wheelers secret to getting them there rapidly fast for them to fix it! They took care of it immediately! Outside the stairs and dock were great for my parents who aren’t as steady on their feet

This house was clean, new sheets and towels and had lots of extras. Secluded and very relaxing—the neighbor was friendly and we loved his dog Astro.❤️ We had a great family getaway here!

We really enjoyed our stay, right on the lake, and the neighbors are all very friendly! Especially David & Roxanne, they checked on us, and were very generous to help us if needed! However, if your bringing a boat, I would recommend launching at the State Park, before heading to the house. Overall, we would book again!
