Possum Kingdom Lake en su mejor momento! En el agua con un muelle privado!

Nuestra hermosa propiedad frente al lago incluye una vista panorámica de PK, un muelle de dos niveles con frente a la playa de arena, un amplio patio con césped y un gran patio sombreado por árboles. Si necesita un área para mascotas, ¡también tenemos un pequeño perro para correr! Perfecto para una escapada de fin de semana para vacaciones familiares familiares pequeñas o grandes. También nuestra casa sería ideal para retiros pequeños.

Nuestros huéspedes disfrutan de los venados que vienen al patio, así como de las hermosas puestas de sol.

Aunque nuestro límite normal es de 12 personas por estadía, a menudo permitimos grupos más grandes. El alojamiento adicional afecta las tarifas de mantenimiento de la casa.

Perfect stay

This was our 3rd year to stay here and enjoyed the time away with family. Accommodations met our families needs. Love the dock for swimming , fishing, and docking the boats. Thank you for the accommodations.

We had a wonderful stay at The Haven house! The location was perfect—peaceful and scenic, with absolutely beautiful views of the lake, amazing dock. It was the ideal spot to unwind and spend quality time together as a family.

Perfect for us

This place had everything we needed. Space for our group to sleep, large back yard for kids to play in, direct access to the water, a dock perfect for our fishermen. We loved our stay here.

We loved our stay here

We had a lovely family vacation here and really enjoyed our stay. Our kids loved the beach and the pier. The deer were also entertaining! I love the location too since it’s close the the park and the walking trails. We have already discussed booking again this year.

It was spacious modern comfortable retreat. An awesome lake view, but no fish in the lake, ha ha. Would definitely stay there again.

Summer Family Fun

Our family always enjoys our extended weekends at The Haven. Randy is a wonderful property owner that is easily accessible to answer questions, we love the manicured large front lawn for playing games like ladder ball or bottle bash (a frisbee game). The swim area access is steps that leads into a sandy bottom swim area. We tie off floats and spend time in the sun catching up with our kids and grandkids. We’ve made it a tradition to hire a fishing guide and the grandkids catch our dinner. This year we caught over 100 fish and kept close up 70. The sand bass is such a clean fish to enjoy!! We love the Haven and you will, too. Just make sure and leave us a time to come next summer!!

Family vacation

This was our first time visiting PK, and the Haven was the perfect size for our group. There were enough beds for everyone, and the house had everything we needed—pots, pans, BBQ utensils, and more. The house itself was great, and we would definitely stay here again!The only issues we encountered were with the trash and a wasp nest. There was only one trash can, which filled up quickly, and there didn’t seem to be a designated place to dispose of additional trash. Also, there was a large wasp nest under the patio. Fortunately, there was wasp spray at the house, and my son was able to take care of it without getting stung.Other than those minor issues, it was a perfect place to stay, and we really enjoyed our time there.

Great Family Retreat

Everything was as described and as shown in photos. Since I was the first one there, I was surprised that I had to turn on the water out by the back fence (underground) and turn on the hotwater heater. I'm in my 70s. The 3rd bathroom (outside in bath house) was in terrible shape. We had counted on getting to use it. There are 2 bathrooms inside for 4 bedrooms. One bedroom has 7 beds. There are septic tank issues. The grands loved the little beach. Deer came to visit every morning and every evening.

Perfect family getaway

The house was a the perfect size for our family of 10. Each adult couple had their own space and then the large family bedroom was perfect for all the grandkids to claim as their own. Two bathrooms are a little inadequate for the number of people it sleeps, but we made it work. The fenced area right outside the back door was convenient for the dogs to use - especially since it rained the entire 4 days we were there. And, it kept them from chasing the deer who were hanging out in the yard. We only used the kitchen for breakfasts as we were eating meals with the rest of our extended family who own a home just down the road. However, we noticed the kitchen was well stocked, so it would be convenient to prepared meals inside or outside by the lake. The outdoor space is amazing with a grill and smoker, a tree house and plenty of room for a soccer game or a family game of football. We want to return in the summer so we can enjoy it!

Lovely Lakehouse

Excellent communication and helpfulness on the part of the property manager, perfect preparation of every room and the grounds, the beautiful setting, meticulous condition of all aspects of the spacious and gracious house without its being in anyway “fussy” or “too precious”—these aspects and others made these accommodations the perfect place to relax, play, converse, cook & eat, sleep soundly, and have a wonderful “headquarters” to hang out for six days while attending a nearby wedding. Our contacts who live nearby will definitely recommend it to other family members and friends sojourning in Possum Kingdom in the future!

The location of this house is great!

Our family was at this location from August 10 thru the 15th. A wonderful sandy beach and the lake view from the house is very relaxing. The kitchen area has been recently up dated and large enough for multiple people. Friendly deer visited us daily and the grandkids had plenty of yard room. Possum Kingdom lake is beautiful and relaxing. Hope to visit this location again soon.

Spring Break 2022

We loved our stay at this property. The house is very well equipped and the management was great to work with thru the entire process. The only reason for the 4 stars on the neighborhood was that the neighbors dogs spent most of their time in our yard instead of their own. Their dogs are friendly, but we took our own as well and there was a confrontation between them anytime they were both outside at the same time. Other than that, the house is in a perfect place on the lake and is still our favorite place to stay on PK. Thank you for having us, The Mondens

Since our children have now grown and spread out a bit over Texas, family get-together's are of highest priority and 'The Haven' provides that for us. We hope you enjoy 'The Haven' as much as we do! Our favorite feature is the sandy beach at waters edge. This make the home as 'grandchildren' friendly as a lake house could be with plenty of space for our family.
