Great characterful apartment in Riquewihr

Very comfortable, clean and carefully restored one bedroom apartment in a quiet location but only 100 yards from the Main Street with its many shops and restaurants. Very helpful owner. Really enjoyed our stay!

A perfect peaceful hideaway close to all Riquewihr has to offer.

This is a lovely apartment, one where clearly great care was taken in its creation and it’s upkeep. A highlight is the little balcony where you can watch the swallows feeding and share a cold glass of something. Would highly recommend.

Beautifully finished apartment in an ideal location in best Alsace village

The apartment came with all facilities a modern couple needs. The decor and furnishings were very tastefully done. We enjoyed many hours sitting on the balcony. Having Aircon was a godsend, but with windows opened from evening till morning, the apartment was naturally cool enough, even with the mercury reaching 30c. Location within Riquewhir was perfect, as you pop in and out at will. We found that we had the village almost to ourselves at 7am, on a daily walk to the local boulangerie. Our interactions with the owner was very good, and the instructions provided were very clear and covered all we needed to know very well. Would very much recommend!

Wonderful Stay

We truly enjoyed our stay at Little Wolf in Riquewihr. Not only is the location idyllic, but the apartment was wonderful. The decor is tasteful and adds to the overall feel of staying in this charming village. The apartment is fully equipped with top-class amenities, including a heated towel rack, a dishwasher, and even a Christmas tree for the holiday season. Communication with the owners and their local manager was easy and friendly, and very helpful. I would definitely recommend this location for anyone looking for a wonderful stay in the Alsace.

Thank you Lauren for staying with us and sharing your experience. The Little Wolf apartment you have stayed in was designed within the private living area of the first owner of the house, a former medieval winery built in 1580. What is nowadays the bedroom used to be, 450 years ago, the sitting room. From there you could watch out and be aware of anybody crossing the footpath through the ramparts, coming back from the vineyards or leaving the village. When we renovated this historical house we were encouraged by the architect in charge of the National Heritage buildings to re-open the tiny window in the angle of the room that made it possible in the past to spy on the local activity ;-) It is possible to see it on the pictures. We wanted to give our guests the best amenities necessary to a modern daily life but also the historical flair that makes the stay so special and unique.

La sérénité et la beauté ... magnifique !

Quels trois jours inoubliables ! Votre location "Le Petit Loup ****" est d'une rare beauté avec sa décoration de très bon goût. Son emplacement privilégié entre le cœur du village et les magnifiques vignes à portée de main, ainsi que son calme et son coté "cocooning" nous rend sereins et nous font prendre conscience de la chance d'être là, heureux et apaisés ! C'est un endroit merveilleux auquel il faut absolument "goûter", et encore mieux, le partager en famille ou avec des amis. Bravo à vous pour tout le travail accompli. Je ne manquerai pas de vous en faire une très bonne "communication publicitaire" et je ne manquerai pas de revenir en couple pour profiter de cet exceptionnel bel endroit en toute sérénité. Bonne continuation et à bientôt ...

Außergewöhnlich schöne und komfortable Wohnung

Wir waren drei Tage in der Ferienwohnung und haben diesen Kurzurlaub sehr genießen können. Es ist einfach alles vorhanden, was man braucht. Die Einrichtung ist sehr liebevoll ausgewählt und passt sich an die historischen Räumlichkeiten ideal an. Möbel, Geräte und Küchenutensilien sind hochwertig und in einem ausgezeichneten Zustand. WLAN funktioniert einwandfrei, ebenso TV, DVD Player, CD-Player etc.. Der Vermieter ist sehr freundlich, erklärt bei Ankunft die technischen Details der Wohnung und gibt Tipps für den Aufenthalt. Wir kommen gerne wieder. Höchstpunktzahl!

We have stayed in many apartments and holiday homes over the years, but your Little Wolf was by far one of the better and most enjoyable places to stay. Your passion for renovation, but also for hospitality is truly noticable in your home away from home. You have thought of all the details to make your guests feel welcome, well taken care of, comfortable and at home. Your touch for detail to make our stay as pleasant as possible was noticable in all corners of the apartment. We have already told many of our friends and family about this wonderful place to stay. No doubt about it, when we return to the beautiful Alcase, we will stay again in one of your vacation accomodations. Thank you very much for a fabulous time. We worked hard to create places that try to be of the same level as the historical surroundings, the landscapes, the mountains and the vineyards: just beautiful.
