We offer for rent our air-conditioned duplex by the sea in Lumio (Balagne), 10 minutes from Ste Catherine airport, 15 minutes from Calvi, and 20 minutes from the arrival of the boat from Île Rousse.
Designed as a house with a landscaped garden in steps and solar shower, this bright duplex is located in a small residence very quiet and in the middle of nature. It offers a breathtaking view of the sea, the mountains, and the bay of Calvi.
Facing south-west so as to receive the sun until evening, it is a pleasure to wake up with the view of the citadel of Calvi bathed in light and to dine in front of spectacular sunsets.
Are within walking distance: the Arinella beach, at the bottom of the house 500m (8 minutes) with restaurant in summer, the little train of the coast which serves all the beaches between Calvi and Île-Rousse and many walks along the wild coast.
There are many possibilities for excursions: discover the beautiful mountain villages, Lumio, Pigna, Sant'Antonino, Speloncato, Belgodère,...; discover the natural pools of Fangu; access the northern start of the GR 20 from Calenzana (8km) or the forest of Bonifatu; admire the Gulf of Porto, the Calanques de Piana, the Scandola reserve and the Gulf of Girolata, magnificent natural sites on the UNESCO World Heritage List.

The house can accommodate 4 to 6 people thanks to well-appointed and independent spaces (doors).
Upstairs, there are two bedrooms and a bathroom equipped with a toilet and a shower.
- Bedroom 1, equipped with a 2P bed (160), air-conditioned and equipped with plenty of storage, opens onto a panoramic terrace with deckchairs and Nespresso, ideal for a first coffee in the morning (or for a night under the stars...!).
- Bedroom 2 is equipped with two bunk beds (90), storage space (and power strips for the different screens of our cherubs).
- The bathroom is very functional with its large shelf to put everything down, a great water flow and instant hot water.

On the first floor, there is
- a fully equipped modern kitchen with door (no fridge noise)
- a "real" toilet with toilet, large sink and mirrors (ideal for extra toilets and teeth washing);
- an air-conditioned living room with storage, which can be transformed into a bedroom if necessary: the sofa is a real top-of-the-range "convertible rapido" bed (purchase 2024), designed for daily sleeping with a comfortable mattress. It opens and closes in a single movement (no need to remove the cushions);
- a large sheltered terrace with sun protection for meals (loggia with awnings), giving access to the private and fenced garden.

The Mediterranean garden is composed of a first stone terrace. A staircase runs along the different landscaped levels, allows access to the solar shower or the shaded nap, and leads to the last terrace equipped with a large bamboo pergola.
Table and chairs, barbecue, water and electricity connections give this space an air of summer cooking surrounded by vegetation.

We paid particular attention to what makes a good stay: air conditioning, good bedding, fully equipped modern kitchen, solid furniture, simple and natural décor. The accommodation has a reserved parking space.

To do your shopping, nothing is very far, with towards Calvi the Spar Acapulco (8mn), the super U (12mn), and towards Ile Rousse, the grand Leclerc and its drives (20mn + the 2 drives at 5mn); well just in case, the pharmacy is at the top of the road (3mn by car).
For everyday life, we recommend the bakery at the top of the path which makes exceptional breads and the greengrocer at the crossroads of the descent to Sant Ambroggio (fruits, vegetables and local products of high quality). As for the beaches, they are close, numerous and splendid: the Arinella (8 minutes walk), the Restitude, Punta di Spano, the marina of Sant Ambroggio, Algajola, Davia, Ghjunchitu, Ile Rousse... And finally on the tourist side, Lumio is one of the most beautiful villages in Corsica and the Balagne, a treasure to be discovered.

Included in the price displayed is a personal welcome with surprise basket and maintenance kit as well as outward cleaning.
If you wish to travel light, the linen rental option is possible. This service is charged in addition when you arrive at the person who welcomes you.
