Large bedroom with king bed. Kitchen has counter oven, microwave, 2 burner heating plate, sink, dishwasher and refrigerator. Blow up bed available if needed. Custom black out fabric shades. Direct tv. WiFi Back balcony has 2 rockers, 2 chaise lounges and a dining table and 2 chairs. Access to washer and dryer in main house. Quarters are above a garage that isn’t used.

Our stay was perfect! We celebrated our 40th anniversary here. It was peaceful, private, and very quaint. The kitchen had everything we needed. The porch had a precious view of pasture with donkeys. We saw the sun rise one morning! The trees are beautiful all around the covered porch and can even be enjoyed from a shower view. The bathroom is spacious and has plenty of counter space. Shampoo was even provided. The whole place is decorated so nice and the bed is super comfortable. The city of Round Top is very close and the location in general is centrally located to other small Texas towns. We visited a week after the huge antique show in October and there were several local antique shops open year round to visit in Round Top as well as all the surrounding towns. (Thursday-Sunday). We also enjoyed the Cotton Gin tour, shops, and restaurants in Burton. I highly recommend this location and would stay here again!!

We love staying here! It is very clean and has everything you need, including a kitchen. The host is very responsive. We loved sitting on porch and enjoying the quiet. Highly recommend! We can't wait to come back.

Relaxing Weekend Getaway

This was our second visit this year. Love the quiet town of Burton and the accommodations provide a very relaxing, nearby getaway The host is very quick to reply to communications. We will be back.

We can not say enough about this beautiful place. The decor, the room size, and all the convenience of home plus the view of staying in a tree house looking out on a beautiful balcony at the pasture of friendly donkeys and horses. Lovely!

It was perfect for our weekend trip to Burton with events to attend in town. Very nice and comfortable place for a couple. Outdoor patio was a great place to enjoy morning coffee. If the chance comes up again, we will definitely choose to stay here.

Just perfect!

This little spot is just perfect! The place is decorated beautifully! Comfy bed and linens. A completely stocked kitchenette. We loved sitting out on the deck, enjoying the view of the peaceful pasture. Thank you for the hospitality- We will be back!

Roundtop shopping get away

Perfect little place! It was close to all the shopping, but quiet and hidden away. The cutest place with all you need to relax and shop as you please. The bed was amazing! Tricia was quick to respond and a wonderful host!

Antique buying trip

We love staying here and this our second time. It is very peaceful and the perfect place to use as a home base for antiquing.The hostess is very sweet and accommodating. The bed is comfortable which is always a plus. My only complaint is the lights in the bathroom are not bright enough.

Beautiful and peaceful with a wonderful view!

Beautiful and spacious garage apartment with an awesome large covered porch overlooking trees and pasture. The bonus views were the donkeys and horses! Trish is great at communication and a very gracious host. It was quiet and peaceful and the perfect place to get away and truly rest (which was our goal). The apartment is next door to the main house (detached garage) but they do not live there full time (they weren’t there the 3 days we were there). But even if they are, it’s still very private as they have large outdoor curtains on the porch, and there would still be a wide view. It is close to a main road but it was just very occasional road noise. It’s not constantly used. We were only 15 mins to Brenham which is where we came to visit, and the local Mexican food in Burton was incredibly good. We loved our stay and would definitely return!

Peaceful Small Town Stay

Charming, cozy accommodation right in the town of Burton. Everything needed in the kitchen and large bathroom. The king sized bed was very comfortable. Enjoyed lounging on the outside deck and viewing the animals in the pasture. Walk this historic town (railroad museum is great) and stop in the White Horse Tavern for some great music on the weekend.

Burton vrbo

My husband and I celebrated our 11th anniversary and his 67 birthday. We had a great time and our Vrbo was clean and spacious and beautiful!! Our host were fantastic!! She gave me some history on the 3 donkeys that have and the place was so quiet and relaxing. I highly recommend this place if you want peaceful tranquility and relaxation!!!

Comfortable Stay

My friend and I loved our stay here! Very spacious, thoughtful, and comfortable space. Everything we needed and more was available–from coffee (and creamer!) to shampoo we forgot at home. It is a very quiet area with a peaceful view. We enjoyed our donkey neighbors even if they did give us a little surprise wake-up call ha! I highly recommend staying here, we'd love to come back.

My husband and I stayed here for an event in a nearby town. Our only complaint is we couldn’t stay longer! Everything was perfect. It was immaculately clean, perfectly decorated and the bed was SO comfortable. I wish we had longer to linger on the private back patio and take in the gorgeous scenery. We will definitely be back.

Our second opportunity to escape to this appointed room for two with all you need to do nothing and Or explore this fun area Fun all around you or just a good nap. The stay is just 5 star hotel stay . It’s all there, thought out and provided For you . Nothing lacking. Great host we certainly hope to return regularly. Serene.

Peaceful stay

I cannot say enough about our stay. It was the perfect location, with a peaceful porch overlooking a pasture with sweet little donkeys. It was close enough to go shop antiques but far enough to get away from all the action. I would highly recommend this place. Decorated beautifully and fully equipped. Host was very attentive.
