Private pool and 8 person hot tub located under covered deck. Ground floor features theater audio-video room with surround sound. Large rec room with pool/ping pong table, flat screen TV, wet bar with ice maker and half bath. Ground floor elevator to all levels. Spacious gourmet kitchen with granite countertops and stainless steel appliances including 2 dishwashers, refrigerator and double oven. Reverse floor plan with spectacular ocean views from the large, open family room; beautifully decorated. Covered and open composite decking including expansive oceanfront decks, all with porch furniture; Enclosed hot/cold outside shower in pool area. Fitness room located in garage with peloton bike, additional stationary bike, weight machine, dumbells, stair stepper and padded gym floor. Wireless high-speed internet makes it easy to stay connected while on vacation. Additional amenities to make your stay more enjoyable are central air and heat, washer and dryer, ice maker, 2 dishwashers, double oven, 2 microwaves, 2 full size and 1 mini-refrigerators, and a gas grill. Check In was easy and kitchen was well stocked and big. Perfect house or our multi generational family. There were 10 of us total and we had plenty of space! Home is beautiful. Pool is wonderful. And the shaded walk out to the beach is perfect. The beach was not crowded at all and we had an absolutely wonderful stay.

The property is exactly as advertised. Very well appointed and upscale. We had a wonderful time and communications with host were excellent. Would highly advise booking this property if you are looking for a nice, relaxing place at the beach. Wonderful stay!

Amazing House

We have had the pleasure of staying in this oceanfront home for the third time in the past several years and love it's location and beauty. The house was very clean and well kept and it is in a private location that made our vacation perfect.

Great Vacation for the Family

Our family enjoyed this wonderful house. Great little stretch of beach to enjoy that is secluded and away from many other beachgoers. House is well stocked and equipped for anything a family would need to enjoy a vacation. Hosts were very responsive and easily accessible during our stay.

Absolute best for large family!

This house was a wonderful spot for our multi-generational family trip. Space was ample for everyone to spread out but still be together. House is beautifully decorated and well stocked including everything you need in the kitchen plus beach chairs, toys, etc. The tree cover is an amazing plus!

Very private beach and the rental house was as advertised. My only complaint: Three flight of stairs and the view of the ocean is partially blocked by the trees, but no big deal. Recommended stay.

Great beach location for two families

Perfect location with private boardwalk access to the beach. We used the pool and hot tub more than we thought we would in the evenings. Great deck and plenty of room for all. The theater room and pool table were also a hit. Lots of beach chairs for everyone.

Wonderful Beach House

We had an awesome week at this home. The house is lovely and very well-stocked. Since we went in October, we opted to heat the pool and that was a huge hit with the kids and teens. The tree cover around the property is stunning and the private walkway to the beach is the nicest I’ve seen. The home was very clean and beds were comfortable. My only suggestion would be to upgrade the front door handle and add keyless entry. Overall fantastic stay and owner is very responsive to any questions.

Another fantastic week

This is our second year staying at the property and once again, we had everything we needed for a wonderful stay. Nothing was overlooked in stocking the house for guests. The beach/ocean is stunning, the trees around the property provide shade and plenty of privacy. We love the house and pool, but it’s the seclusion offered by the private beach that keeps us coming back.

Great family beach house

The property is well maintained. We enjoyed the pool, theater, elevator, porch rocking chairs, and the beach every day. Love the woodsy feel to the area. Nice mix of sun and shade around the pool. You can only see the ocean from the top floor but we didn’t mind that. Lots of puzzles to choose from. Well equipped kitchen. Close to the aquarium and restaurants. Overall a great place to stay. We would go again.

Lovely House and Location

The house was really well-appointed and in a great location. My group really loved the media room, the private walkway to the beach, and the gym in the garage (bonus points for having a Peloton bike!). The host was also really responsive and kind. The only recommendation I would make is that a keyless entry be installed. We had to drive to Emerald Isle to pick up the keys, and the traffic in Emerald Isle is really congested. It took approximately 45 minutes to drive 8 miles, and we could have avoided EI completely if there was keyless entry, as the house itself is in Pine Knoll Shores and could have been approached from Atlantic Beach. The process of checking in at an office and then being stuck in traffic felt unnecessary and made the check-in time more like 5:00 instead of 4:00. That being said, it was a minor inconvenience in the big scheme of things.

A nice stay at a familiar house

This is the third time we’ve stayed here over the past 11 years. It has its own shady access to the beach through the foliage. I’d call it 1.5 row, staggered back a bit from the first row houses. It has a narrower view of the ocean than most oceanfront houses. I like the elevator, pool, theater, pool table room, and great family room. It’s been recently updated with new quartz countertops and fans, new paint and it’s new to VRBO. I wish there was a way to plug in our Roku, or to sign in with our Disney+, Netflix or HBO Max accounts in the theater, but there isn’t. You can’t add apps to the DVD player which would allow this. I don’t think the theater system is hooked up to Wi-Fi. The instructions are not helpful. Love the big screen theater TV, though. We didn’t try to mess with the receiver to plug in our Roku because of a printed sheet there warning of a charge to have the system fixed by a tech, so we just watched a DVD, and Spectrum cable on the theater screen. We didn’t actually swim in the pool or use the hot tub this year. The kitchen has plenty of dishes, pots and pans and silverware and 2 dishwashers. The new Bosch fridge has a multi-drawer freezer we didn’t like, but it was functional. I like the new round glass top dining room table with the interesting tree root base. A few things need fixed: the hose faucet knob on the top deck has almost completely rusted out and is broken, with sharp edges. The turtle shaped faucet knob at the end of the walkway falls off and needs its Allen head screws tightened. One upstairs bathroom sink was partly clogged when we arrived and very slow to drain, so we didn’t use it. The walkway itself has some warped boards towards the end which I tripped on because they’re fully an inch higher than the adjacent board. I hurt my foot but didn’t break anything. It’s an unsafe hazard that needs to be repaired. The stovetop fan sounds the same on all 3 settings, and the stovetop light doesn’t work. We used the toaster and Keurig. Wish there was an air fryer/toaster oven for reheating. The bathroom rugs need to be cleaned or replaced. We’ve become accustomed to bugs at the beach, so I wasn’t surprised there were several roaches, mostly small, inside which mostly looked to be dying from bug treatment. Overall a great stay with a few easily fixed things, for which I’d take away 1/2 a star if I could.

Wifi/streaming services and Netflix, Disney Plus and Amazon Prime are accessible through all of the TVs, including the theater room. I apologize if the instructions for connecting were not clear. I truly wish that you would have contacted us through VRBO---we could have explained and walked you through it. I will definitely make sure the instructions are improved for next year! Thank you, as well, for calling to our attention the minor repairs that have arisen during the rental season. We plan to attend to all of these and do some additional upgrades this fall/winter. Fantastic vacation!

This was our second year at this fabulous home! The beach is basically private - perfect for kids. The house is fantastic and has everything we could possibly need. Blair and Amy were quick to answer any questions and were extremely accommodating. Looking forward to going back next year!

Actually there was nothing that we missed. Plenty of everything in the home. Something for all ages to enjoy. Both pools, theatre, and of course the beach and Atlantic Ocean. We will be returning!
