Bienvenido y gracias por pasar. No pudimos ofrecer nuestro lugar para alquilar en 2019 debido al daño causado por el huracán Florence. Un año después aún no está terminado, pero estamos cerca y volveremos a funcionar para la temporada 2020. Entra y échanos un vistazo. Espero que te guste lo que ves y elijas quedarte. ~~~ LA PLAYA ESTÁ A SOLOS PASOS DE TU PUERTA ~~~

DESDE LA PUERTA DELANTERA, GIRE A LA IZQUIERDA Y LA PLAYA ESTÁ A LA DERECHA, GIRE A LA DERECHA Y ES SOLO UN CAMINO RÁPIDO EN LAS TABLAS A LA PISCINA.

Luminoso y espacioso adosado frente al mar es perfecto para su escapada de vacaciones familiares. Ocean Glen es un complejo pequeño y tranquilo de 38 unidades ubicado en la isla barrera de Bogue Banks. Está ubicado en el bosque marítimo justo al lado de la Reserva Teddy Roosevelt de 200 acres. No hay rascacielos aquí. La playa es amplia y poco concurrida. Ambiente agradable y familiar. Puedes conocer y mezclarte con los otros vacacionistas de Ocean Glen o mantener tu privacidad: la elección es tuya.

Nuestra casa de playa está muy limpia y amueblada de forma atractiva. Muchos de nuestros inquilinos han comentado cuán agradable es nuestro lugar. El dormitorio principal tiene un baño privado completo, cama de matrimonio y balcón CON UNA VISTA MARAVILLOSA DEL OCÉANO, PLAYA Y TEDDY ROOSEVELT PRESERVE. POR LA NOCHE PUEDES VER EL FARO MIRADOR DEL CABO QUE PARPADEA EN LA DISTANCIA. Hay otros dos dormitorios, uno con dos camas individuales y el otro con una cama matrimonial. Estas habitaciones comparten otro baño completo. En la planta baja hay una cocina totalmente equipada, comedor, terraza acristalada, gran sala de estar, además de medio baño. Como la playa está orientada al sur, puede relajarse en la terraza y ver espectaculares amaneceres o puestas de sol o espiar un delfín o dos.

Aunque Ocean Glen es apartado y tranquilo, no está fuera de lo común. A menos de una milla hay restaurantes, entretenimientos (minigolf, botes chocones y karts), tiendas, kayak, parasailing, esquí acuático, gasolinera, biblioteca y oficina de correos. Además, el Acuario de Carolina del Norte está a solo media milla de distancia, ubicado en la Reserva Roosevelt en el lado de la bahía de la isla. Ofrecen actividades variadas durante todo el año para todas las edades, además de senderos naturales para caminar.

Comenzamos a venir a Ocean Glen como inquilinos en 1991 con nuestros hijos pequeños. Nos gustó tanto que seguimos regresando (a veces dos veces al año) hasta que finalmente compramos nuestro lugar en 1996. The condo is well laid out with comfortable communal spaces and quiet bedrooms. The furnishings are well appointed. The kitchen was stocked with cooking essentials that are often missing (measuring cups, measuring spoons, kitchen towels, e.g.). The location is optimal, with a stretch of undeveloped land next to the complex. The result is easy access to a beach that was relatively quiet for mid June. We never had to compete for space or felt intruded upon. Overall it was a fantastic trip in a home that that we will visit again.

Great location for our family
You really can’t beat the location and convenience of this property. We were steps from the beach, which made everything super easy with young Kids. Our kids (8 and 5) thought this home was the coolest thing ever. We would alternate between the beach and the pool with a nap in between. The complex was very quiet with no loud neighbors. We drove into Beaufort several times for pirate and dolphin cruises, which we highly recommend. There’s plenty of fun shopping and dining there too. James was a great host and highly communicative. We had a wonderful stay, and would love to return!

Excellent Trip
This was our second year staying here and it was just as great as the first! The property is very clean and well stocked and close proximity to both the beach and the pool, with ocean views from the master balcony. We spent a lot of our time at the pool which is well maintained. The property owners are very responsive. I highly recommend staying here!

Beautiful beach vacation
This property is perfect. There is not one thing my family and I would change. From the beautiful home to the beach being just outside your door. No need to carry all your things to the beach when you are staying right on the beach. The house is clean, charming, convenient, and the beach! I've been to beaches all over the world, this is my favorite. We want to stay here next year, and the next, and the next! Hosts are incredible. Thank you.

Fabulous property for family beach getaway!
This property is perfect for a family vacation. This is the second year we’ve stayed here and we love how the place is decorated and the proximity to a pristine beach and the community pool. The thoughtful layout gives our family of four plenty of space to relax and prepare most of our meals at home. The homeowners are so kind and easy to work with and they respond quickly to all inquiries. This place is truly a gem in the quiet Pine Knoll Shores area!!

The location was steps from the beach! The lovely home had all kinds of games for inside and anything you could possibly think of to take with you to the sand. Everyone should staying in the units were very personable and friendly.

Wonderful experience!
Absolutely beautiful and great experience all around! The check in process was very easy and the hosts were communicative. The property is clean, well stocked and bigger than the pictures look. There is a good amount of privacy since it is multiple levels. We divided our time between the ocean and the pool and neither disappointed! We really loved the pool as it is nestled in between trees and was rarely crowded. The beach is just a short walk from the property as well. I would definitely recommend this property to anyone looking to stay in Pine Knoll Shores!

A lovely week
We had a great time staying at this property. The proximity to the beach can’t be beat! Comfy beds, lovely kitchen. Two things to keep in mind - the pool appears in need of renovation (smelled like sulfur, seemed dirty) and the wireless is the community network; no password protection.

Awesome beach trip
This property is very clean and right on the beach. There are lots of fun beach toys, chairs, and boogie boards to use. The inside of the property is super spacious and clean, the beds are comfortable, and having laundry machines is very helpful. There are two parking spots (though it is a TIGHT fit, it still is great to have two spots!) Check in is a little weird as you will be mailed two keys which you then mail back (in a pre-stamped envelope) after your trip. Also, the property was still being cleaned when we got there despite it being after check-in time and it was a little tiring to have to wait in the parking lot after a long drive to get there. The property is in the middle of the island so it is a 15 minute drive or so to get groceries and stuff. To us, it is worth it because it means the beach is not crowded at all! We felt like we had a private beach most of the time. It was wonderful. The one big downside to this property is that the walls are VERY thin. The first day we got there we had loud neighbors and we could hear every word they said. They checked out the next day luckily. The next group was much quieter but even still you could hear things through the wall. We put white noise apps on our phones in each room so that we could sleep. The property managers are responsive and very helpful if you have any questions at all. Overall we had a wonderful vacation.

Fabulous home and location
We loved this property so much! Booking the rental and corresponding with the owner was easy and efficient. The home was the perfect size for our family of four (6-yr old son and 1.5 yr old daughter). The proximity to the beach was perfect with two young kids and with no crowds on Pine Knoll Shores beach, we spent long days playing in the surf and sand. We also really enjoyed the community pool and meeting other families in the Ocean Glen townhomes. The rental was clean and inviting and had all the amenities we needed to be comfortable away from home. It was a fabulous vacation!!

Great place, close to beach and well maintained!
Very nice place to be near the beach. The condo is just a couple of units from the beach. You can hear the surf if you open the windows or sliding glass doors. Very clean and has all the necessary items in the kitchen. Multiple TV sets. Made use of the washer drier to clean the beach towels and other laundry. They have some chairs, boogie boards, etc. for the beach and access has hose and showers for cleaning up. Pool nice and not busy, most are at the beach. Property has great courtyard with mature live oaks, very serene. Very, very nice place and would definitely plan another trip to stay there if bringing my two daughters along (each had their own bedroom). Also great communication with the owner. Very fast responses and communication to answer any questions. Highly recommended!!

Great place to stay.
First time to Pine Knoll Shores. This is a great location for this property to get to everything and only steps from the beach. Beautiful place and had everything we needed. We even grilled out one night. Only one thing that could be upgraded with this property and that is electronic locks with a code instead of having to get keys in the mail and having to keep up with them all week and then having to mail them back.

We had a great stay. The beach was awesome, very gentle slope where both kids could bet out past the Breakers. Pool was nice. House was great.

Great for a family or friends
This condo was perfect. It was our family of 5 and my father in law. The beach is right outside your door. It was my father in laws first time to the beach in 20 years and he can't wait to go back next year. My kids enjoyed the pool. The kitchen was stocked with anything you need to cook or BBQ a meal. We ate out once a day and made most of our meals at the condo and had everything we needed. They have made this baby friendly as well. We have a 1 year old who learned how to walk on this trip and the baby gates came in handy. I would definitely recommend if you are wanting a nice relaxing trip.
