We would like to welcome you to condo number 1316 at The Summit Beach Resort in Panama City Beach, recently voted in the top three most beautiful beaches! Panama City Beach is located on a 27 mile stretch of sugar white sand and warm water known as the Emerald Coast and we look forward to sharing this paradise with you and your family!

This condo has just completed a total remodel and it is spectacular in every way! The condo sleeps 6 with a king size bed in the spacious bedroom, two twin bunks in an alcove in the hall, and a queen memory foam murphy bed in the living room. The kitchen space is very open with dining seating for 6 and touts a large island with beautiful granite countertops. There is a washer and dryer for your convenience! There is a half bath in the master suite and a full bath centrally located to all the living space. Most importantly the view from inside the condo and the balcony is spectacular, if you want a view from a different angle just step down to the beach and enjoy the beach service we have included for your enjoyment, SHORE TO PLEASE! We look forward to hosting you.

What's new at The Summit Resort? Many wonderful and well-planned upgrades and improvements have taken place! All four elevators have been replaced; the pool decking has been resurfaced as well as upgrades to the outdoor shower area. You will be happy to know the sauna area has been updated as well as many improvements to the grounds. There is security at the waterfront entrance to the pool area to assure the seating on the pool deck is used by guests only. Very importantly, The Summit Resort is committed to maintaining high speed internet and that has been updated again in 2023. COME AND ENJOY!

There are so many amenities on the property that you could chose to never leave the site! It begins at the pool deck tiki bar with your favorite drink and music then wander over to the Grill for tasty food and snacks. The family can spend time at the inside game room with Air Hockey and several virtual arcade games. For the adventurer in your group there is parasailing, banana boat rides, and jet ski rentals on the beach. Summit Resort has a very nice exercise facility for your enjoyment. The location is perfect as The Summit Beach Resort is convenient to all the local attractions, to mention a few, Gulf World Marine Life Park, Zoo World, Shipwreck Island Water Park, Wonder Works and Ripley's Believe It Or Not, St. Andrew's State Park, Dave and Buster's, Captain Anderson's Marina where there are many activities to choose from including deep sea fishing charters, dolphin watching cruises, sunset wine cruises, Shell Island cruises, and a favorite for many is the Pirate Cruise, or you can rent your own pontoon boat and explore at your leisure. If you have a shopping enthusiast in your group, you must visit Pier Park. It is a shopping, dining, and entertainment mecca! You can even catch a free concert at the Pier Park amphitheater every Thursday night all summer! Just bring your cooler and chairs and sit on the lawn. It's a great experience. We would be remiss if we didn't mention the open-air dining with live music that you can experience up and down the beach nightly. It is so much fun! While many of these open-air dining options are very casual there are many fine dining restaurants for you to choose from also. Day time activities are abundant on the beach and the night life and dancing are limitless also. We are extending our southern hospitality to you as we want to share our piece of paradise! Very very disappointed that the pools and hot tubs close at dark had I known I would have found a different place to stay. The condo itself was excellent with a beautiful view of the ocean.

Nice condo

Condo is as pics described. Actually, two taller chairs on the balcony that was nice to sit on and see over the balcony railing. Mid April isn't peak time, but plenty of parking in a lot and not a garage to worry about. Good spot.

We have been coming to the Summit for years now and all i can say is WOW! Booking was simple and management was very responsive. The place was very clean and the unit...once again i have to say WOW. The remodel is beautiful and very unique. Did i say wow yet? Anyway the place was amazing and i will be coming back next year!

Perfect getaway!

We just got back from staying at this location for a week for a baseball tournament. It is absolutely lovely! Love how everything is up-to-date and how comfortable the beds were! That’s always a big thing for us and these were great!. The balcony overlooks the pool dead smack in the middle so you can see everything. I love the location because it was a little bit further east than all the craziness and we were able to get around pretty easy. Like everyone says On other reviews, the elevators are super slow! We always walk down to the left and and use that one and had no problem. If you were thinking about booking this place, definitely do it!

Such a Pleasant Stay!

Property was as described. I was initially worried about the size of the unit with 6 of us staying in the condo, but was pleasantly surprised that there was enough room for us all to not be on top of each other. The sunsets from the 13th floor balcony were portrait worthy! Everyone seems to chat about the horrible wait times for the elevators but it was not as bad as some make it out to be. Your on vacation, just plan accordingly and just relax. Thanks for a great stay.

PCB Vacay 2024

My family stayed four days. We loved it. Its very convenient. Bikini Bobs and a tiki bar is right on the property so you dont have to fight long waits to get good food or drinks. Our room was perfect for our needs. The elevator can be alittle crowded. Right across the road is sling shots which my kids enjoyed riding we also went back again to ride the go karts. The pool at the summit closed at 8 which is one of the only down falls. Not sure why that is a rule at the summit other places near by pools close at 10 or 11. Overall we had a great vacation Chase was a great host he was quickly to resolve issues and answer back to concerns.

Summit

Elevators were down each day at some point. Terrible when you have to carry groceries up 13 floors with ice on hot days! Need new elevators!! Room had a bad smell and had to go buy room spray and spray multiple times a day. Pool closed at 7:30pm each day when stated 11pm. Beach was nice. Thankful two chairs and umbrella came with room.

the Summit

We had a great time. The place was clean. The elevators were very slow and we heard it is always like this at the Summit. There was only one elevator in working condition. The pool and Tiki Bar are very nice. The gal working at the Tiki Bar is very friendly. There was always beach chairs and an umbrella ready for us. It's very nice to be able to leave your rental and walk immediately to the beach. The Summit appears to be old and somewhat outdated and dingy, but this particular rental is privately owned and the inside was very nice for the price.

Not for families.

While our condo itself wasn’t terrible, the condominium isn’t the greatest. It’s dirty, the elevators are horrible to get on, and it’s a party place. We took our children because the reviews said it’s family friendly but that’s not the case. To top it off, you basically have to clean the entire place before you leave even though you pay a cleaning fee. Overall, we weren’t impressed.

A few hiccups

We loved the area, the view was amazing, and people were very friendly. The condo building is going through extensive apartment renovations, which was extremely noisy, (jackhammers in use) to the extent you could hear all over campus, including pool and beach side. Only one of four elevators was working during all but a few days of our month long stay, which was a substantial inconvenience being on the 13th floor. Also, the water for the entire building was shut off 3 times during our stay (for repairs). Finally, the unit was not our definition of clean when we arrived, but we still enjoyed our stay.

I booked this unit for our Anniversary a week out. The property was exactly as pictured and very clean. The balcony view is awesome. There is adequate towels and wash clothes. Everything functioned as it should. Dealing with Chase was super convenient and very customer oriented. I had a schedule change so I booked this a week out. Chase went and picked up rose petals, a card, and set them up for me prior to our arrival. It made our Anniversary weekend very special. Being in the rental business this is some of the most top notch service I’ve seen. We will be staying again in the future. Thank you for all of your help and accommodations.

Oceanfront view

The check-in went flawless. The views from the room were outstanding. We went for a quiet relaxing getaway and was not disappointed. The rooms were clean and the balcony was spacious with 4 chairs. It was nice to have a washer and dryer in the room. The best part of the stay was being able to have the 2 beach chairs and umbrella provided with the room to enjoy the beach. Everyplace we have stayed in have its little quirks and this one was no exception. Another frying pan would be nice and while the fridge had a great ice and water dispenser it was to big for its space We had to maneuver a little to get things in the freezer. The door hinge to the patio had a string to open it but I’m sure this will be fixed when they get the parts. Be sure to bring your own beach towels since they are not provided. I would love to come back and stay again. It was a wonderful property and we enjoyed the area.

Beautiful condo but did have issues

We found lots of mold on the ceiling in the bathroom, on the shower curtain too. The clean towels that were hung up were still damp and wet, and we found trash behind the doors. The main king size bed sinks in on one size and makes getting good sleep near impossible for the person on that side. Some of the usual kitchen necessities we missing like Pot holders for the oven but we made due with a rag. I have communicated some of these things (not all) with the host and they are aware but no response was given. So my hope is that the mold issue was atleast taken care of. Also, if you're a colder person I'd suggest bringing an extra blanket from home. The building itself was ok, the trash shoot was out of order, the elevator was ALWAYS full and you had to wait a while (but it's tourist season so I get it) Despite those things we did enjoy ourselves out and about and the amenities offered. I don't typically complain as I don't like to make a fuss but I felt like I needed to in the case, especially with the mold and mildew issue.

We felt at home in this condo and we were VERY happy with our stay here, from May 6-May 10th, despite a few glitches (nobody's fault, stuff happens). We never had problems with noise from the street or the neighbors, even though the building was fully occupied; we also never felt crowded. People were friendly at the pool & bar. We had a couple minor plumbing issues which we brought to the Owners' attention; they were appreciative & responsive. VERY nice unit w/lovely decor; great use of space. I loved watching sunsets from the 13th floor balcony & as an early riser, really enjoyed watching the full moon over the ocean as it set! Very clean property, nice pools, hot tub & saunas. Beautiful oceanfront unit & the beach was fantastic w/water temp around 72 degrees. There's a little food stand to the left of the property & their food was very good. Great bartenders, but mixed drinks average around $15./ea. @ the tiki bar. Elevators were problematic. Only 1 of the 2 center elevators worked at a time; 1 time neither worked. If you can't climb or descend 13 flights of stairs, you will need a 1st flr. unit. We found out about end elevators later in our stay. Fortunately that only happened once. We will DEFINITELY return. Found some really good places to eat, especially Longboards across the street. We also enjoyed a terrific breakfast at Fatty Patty's our last morning. It looks like the complex is trying to upgrade-sliders were being replaced in 4 units on the last day there.

Absolutely amazing unit away from most of the crowds

My family & I were able to stay very comfortably in this unit. The condo was amazing with a spectacular view and great amenities. We arrived on Sat night & stayed until next Sat morning. There is security at the main gate & all guest must keep a wristband on during the full stay. While the unit allows for 8 guest, the front desk would only give me 6 bands (and he was very rude about it, not owner's fault tho). At first, I was a bit upset b/c I had 7 guest, but quickly realized that there wasn't much enforcement of bands for the little kids. So that was good. I was happy that the owner did notify me before our stay to say that there was an issue with the dryer and that a service man would be onsite during our visit. However, we didn't see a issue with the dryer . I can't speak enough about the view and for someone who is afraid of heights, I stayed on the balcony a lot. It did rain once and the ledge is far enough out that the rain did not bother us while sitting out there. The unit does seem soundproof since I wasn't able to hear outside or guest in surrounding units. I did see several comments that had issues with the sand in the unit, but that just comes with being steps from the beach. Unfortunately, its very hard not to track sand back up to the unit so I was fine with using the provided broom/mop for a daily cleaning needs. There are only 4 elevators and other guest did mention that others had gotten stuck on the elevators. I never got stuck but there is also a warning sign in the elevator that says jumping would get the elevator stuck. You do not want to get stuck in them because there is zero air ventilation inside. One perk for being on the 13th floor is that its easier to catch a elevator going down because they get packed quickly. Other than the elevators, I never felt crowded on the property. There was enough space for all guest in the pools, hot tub, on the beach, and all other amenities. I loved the onsite tiki bar, weekend DJ was their Fri-Sun with a variety of music. I had no concerns with property or beach safety, its a very lit area at night. My teens were able to explore the property and beach with no hassle. We were able to enjoy night crab hunting, and others guest were exploring the beach in their little groups, as well. I would FORSURE 100% recommend this unit and hopefully in the near future return back to PBC to book with them again.

I can’t say enough about how wonderful this condo is. It was spotless and beautiful. The rental process and check in was a breeze. You won’t regret staying here! I will definitely rent from Sherry next time I come to PCB.

Perfect Condo

This property is as advertised, perfect location, clean, amazing views and the amenities are very good. The Tiki Bar is a nice place to get a cold drink on a warm day. An easy walk out the door to the beach with chairs and an umbrella. White sand, miles of beach to walk, shells galore. I would definitely stay here again. Security at the entrance gate and plenty of security cameras around the property. 👍👍
