Set within a 5-hectare estate—ideal for families or groups of friends—in the heart of the Loire Valley, you’ll enjoy being transported to a natural retreat featuring meadows, woods, a pond, a washhouse, mill races, a river, and an artesian spring. You’ll have exclusive use of 350 m² of the property, including part of the historic 19th-century mill with its 4 bedrooms, its library and reception area, as well as a second building featuring a TV lounge with foosball, a dining room, and a fully equipped kitchen situated in front of the outdoor pool, which is heated from June 15 to September 15. <br>The abundance of water and the authentic atmosphere of the setting offer moments of escape, relaxation, and a sense of well-<br>. The richness and diversity of our regional heritage will enrich your stay and satisfy your desire for cultural<br>in our beautiful Touraine region. Event planning available upon request.

The Old Mill was amazing for our family of 5. The pool, pond, bedrooms, and guest house gave us all the space we needed to fully relax after days of enjoying the beautiful Loire Valley. Our hosts catered to our every need and communication was easy through the VRBO app. Thank you so much Frederic and Geraldine!

Excellent property and host

3 couples enjoyed our stay at Moulin Chareau immensely. It is in a central location for visiting the chateaus of the Loire Valley. The Moulin is beautiful, unique and the grounds are lovely. Frederico is so friendly and helpful - suggested itineraries for our visit, restaurants and more. We would highly recommend this VRBO.

Amazing Host and Beautiful Accommodations

Frederic was an amazing and generous host. He went out of his way to make us feel at home and helped make dinner reservations for us. He showed us true French hospitality at its finniest. The property was beautiful and the accommodations for fantastic. We would highly recommend this place to anyone staying in the area.

Such a lovely 3 days

We had 3 wonderful days here on a stopover on our way to Bergerac! Frederick and his wife cooked for us on our first night, what a treat especially as we were vegan! Weather was not great but our hosts were kind and very discreet. Lovely house and pool, thank you both for everything!😀

Charming property run by wonderful people

This property lived up to its listing! We chose this property for the space and location and it was perfect. We were on the back end of a two week trip to Europe and used this as our home base for four nights while exploring the Loire Valley. It is located in a very relaxing setting with great amenities for adults and kids. The owners made our stay that much better and were there to greet us and show us the property upon arrival. They also tended to our needs whenever we had questions. Would not hesitate to stay here again…this property is a real gem!

One of the very best places we’ve stayed

Beautiful place and people. Frederic is a wonderful host. He allowed early check in and attended to all of our needs. There are stairs to the bedrooms, he carried our luggage up and down. The property vastly exceeds the description and certainty our expectations. There are many châteaux and wineries. Frederic helped us with our itinerary. We would very much love to return.

Fabulous setting

Fréderic, our host, could not have been more welcoming. He did everything possible to ensure our stay was enjoyed by every member of our group. The setting was amazing with the old mill and its adjoining pond. Even better than the photos.We enjoyed our apéros and meal down by the water. The bedrooms and bathrooms were perfectly clean and comfortable. It was a pleasure to climb the centuries' old staircase to our rooms each night. The pool is one of the largest we have had in a rental. There are no words to describre the beauty and tranquility of the place. We were all sad to leave and several members of our group said they would love to live there. It is definitely a 10-star place.

Nous avons passé un super week-end entre filles pour un EVJF ! Les propriétaires (qui sont sur place) on était très accueillant et à notre disposition tout au long du week-end Le lieu est magnifique, les chambres sont belles et confortables, la piscine très bien entretenue… rien à redire ! Awesome property...not the most convenient witbout a car.Frederic was a most gracious and helpful host...even flew our national flag to welcome us!Pool was most needed, but AC or ceiling fans in bedrooms would be extra nice.Would highly recommend!

Séjour parfait entre amis ! Charme authentique et confort moderne : décoration soignée, pièces spacieuses, lumineuses et bien chauffées, propreté irréprochable. Les espaces de vie sont séparés des chambres (bâtiment proche), ce qui apporte confort et intimité. La rénovation est réussie et de bon goût.Le propriétaire est disponible et attentionné. Emplacement idéal pour visiter caves, châteaux et marchés. Les extérieurs; bois, terrasse avec vue sur l’étang et animaux sont très agréables. On reviendra en été pour profiter de la piscine. Je recommande vivement !

Calme, nature et détente.

Très bon accueil sympathique et chaleureux. La propriété est très belle et agréable. Parfaite pour un séjour en famille. La piscine salée et chauffée est impeccable de même que les chambres et les salles communes. Point positif, un hôte particulièrement sympathique et discret tout restant constamment joignable.

Excellent séjour dans un cadre enchanteur

Site magnifique dans un cadre incroyable, du calme, de la verdure, de la place, une belle piscine... tout est prévu pour une séjour agréable et la découverte de la Tourraine. Le propriétaire est très sympathique et aux petits soins avec ses hôtes. Encore merci pour ces 4 jours!
