Quiet and spacious poolside cottage, detached, on private property with its own bathroom, kitchenette, access, washer/dryer. Studio floorplan. Saltwater pool and spa, large shared yard (owner lives on site in main house) Fireplace, wi-fi, king size bed, large space. Brand new Beautyrest Silver mattress, sheets, towels, etc. Pool is heated from April through November. It can be heated for your stay by request for an extra fee. ** To be clear, this not a public pool. It is a private pool but please know that the pool and jacuzzi are shared with other property guests and the owner’s family in the main house.

The city cottage is in the back yard of the main house. You have a short walk from street parking, back to the cottage. Normally quiet and private. I highly recommend!

The pool side cottage was an awesome oasis in the busy LA basin. Peaceful, quiet, private and clean. Very comfortable bed. Nice strong shower. Plenty of hot water. Communicated well with the host through the app. Great value for the price. We didn’t need it but there was plenty of street parking available. Very nice neighborhood. Walked to dinner and a local bar for some nightlife on our first night.” Caravan” restaurant for Mediterranean food and “Gold Rail” bar for a local “Dive bar” experience are good choices.

Everything! The pool house was clean and efficient. TV worked well, bed was comfortable, shower fantastic, and plenty of space in the bathroom for stuff. Cute and charming, comfy king bed, very friendly and helpful host. We did have a plumbing issue, but our host was very helpful and solved the problem quickly. We would go back. My two small suggestions would be to have some coffee creamer pods for the Keurig, and to have a shower curtain or some way to corral water from the walk-in shower.

I vacation in exotic locations like Burbank and Pasadena, just to get away from it all. Seriously, I'm a nice guy, engineer and civil servant, who wants to make a little extra $ hosting and meeting some neat people from places elsewhere. It's a great neighborhood and a neat place that isn't close- but isn't far- from pretty much anywhere in LA. Photo coming!
