"Fearless Mary", sits on a view lot next to Prospector Ranch our 1800's style ranch nestled in the Santa Monica Mountains. Enjoy gorgeous and expansive mountian views from our 1972 Vintage Airstream trailer named after a true pioneer from the 1800's, Ms. Mary Fields. She is beautifully done most of the inside is original still. You are welcome to picnic under the grand old oak trees or share a beverage in our authentic saloon. Endless trails for hiking, biking and horseback riding are close by. The 101 freeway, beaches & wineries are all only minutes away!

This is a 50 year old Vintage Trailer with many of the original parts. They work but anyone staying must be very gentle with her when opening things.
Neighbors- we are on a dirt road very important that there is NO speeding and noise level is quiet.
We love our neighbors so Very important you are respectful and not loud. 😊

Work trip to LA with wife and dog.

Excellent Santa Monica mountain's location Meggan and her husband provided excellent directions and instructions. Great place to stay, wish I had more time to spend there.

Absolutely Charming!

Slept so well up in the fresh clean air and woke up feeling like I was glam camping way out in nature! It's such a cozy and charming place to get away from the city hustle and bustle ☺️ Loved It!

Americana in a beautiful setting

The airstream is very comfortable. Think of your stay as more than glamping, that’s how comfortable it is. The view from the outside sitting area is tranquil. The bed is comfortable. The air is clean and quiet. Meggan is an amazing hostess.

Serenity & Peaceful

Such a beautiful rustic get away, perfect for a couple needing to reconnect n just relax, so quiet n the the airstream fearless Mary was just perfect for short getaway. Loved the snacks came in handy. It had everything we needed. It's close to Malibu beach and the drive is so scenic thanks to great host who communicated everything

Cute Glamping

Cute rustic accommodations in a gorgeous area. We are campers so used to doing with less, but the price point for the accommodation does not fit. I would have been willing to pay half the cost but not worth what we did pay

The airstream is located on a hill proving a very beautiful view which we enjoyed sitting outside to take in and appreciate. The pull out queen bed and bedding were very comfortable. Certain things in the trailer needed repair including a lock on the door and a new bathroom sink faucet.

Worst experience ever!!!

Poorly maintained. Sewage system smelled All night. We were very cold and did not sleep well. Nice view and host was responsive. Will not recommend the stay and definitely will not return. I was very disappointed:(

Slightly misleading

Our stay in the airstream was not what we thought it would be. It was much older and run down then it looked in the photos. We booked the airstream for 2 nights but only stayed for 1. Meggan was awesome about working with us to make our stay as enjoyable as possible. She offered a stay in one of her other amazing luxury glamping sites but we had already booked a hotel for the night. I would highly recommend a stay in her covered wagon or safari tent. They looked to be much nicer then the air stream. There are so many cute animals on her property and the saloon was so cool!

Not what we expected

The airstream was so cute and the property was beautiful and Meggan was readily available. We gave less than five stars because the property was way too hot to stay at in the summer. Meggan was kind enough to turn on thr ac for us before we got there but due to the age of the airstream. It didn't work well. We actually went out and bought two umbrellas to give us shade after the first day. If your planning on staying here we recommend u look at the weather first and plan accordingly. 85 plus degrees is too hot without any shade for us and our pup. The bathroom faucet was broken and we also found some items behind the pillows that were clearly left over from the guests before us. If we had been able to make other arrangements in the area and stay elsewhere with our doggie, we would have, at least, this time of year. That being said, it's a beautiful place and in the spring and fall and winter I can imagine it would be amazing.

Not for us!

This was a difficult evaluation to write because we wanted it be an honest assessment of the accomodations. Firstly, we have always wanted to stay in an Airstream on vacation. This seemed like the perfect opportunity to take one more item off our bucket list. The listing was very attractive and the setting was beautiful. Our host was easy to communicate with and very responsive. When we arrived we were greeted by her husband who showed us to the Airstream which was located in a gorgeous canyon setting. When we entered it, we were immediately take aback by the condition of the unit. There was not a functioning lock on the front door, and the window next to the door was in such bad condition you could see outside through the frame. Several sliding cabinet doors were even difficult for our host to open and close, some not at all. The bathroom sink faucet leaked water out from the base but none from the faucet. There was a sign telling the user to put ALL toilet paper in the trash can located next to the recycling toilet. The small portable tower heater in the living room was not large enough to heat the entire unit and after running the overhead heater for several minutes we never did get any hot air. We decided not to remain there for the week and were lucky enough to have friends close by that we could stay with. We were sure that we had lost our entire fee because we had already checked in, however, after communicating our frustration with the hostess she was gracious enough to give us a partial fair refund. That speaks to the hosts character. Per the listing, we were expecting a much more renovated unit but left disappointed.

Geweldige locatie en leuk om een keer in de Airstream te hebben ovetnacht. Het interieur was wel gammel inclusief de bedbank. Die is aan vervanging toe. Wij raden de verhuurder aan om de gescheurde kussen te vetvangen. Het is duidelijk dat je voor de plek en de belevenis betaald, maar is niet heel comfortabel en netjes.

Peaceful getaway!

Stayed at this property a couple of weeks ago for a last minute trip. What a gem! Fearless Mary was as advertised and met our needs! It was clean, comfortable, and you could not beat the location. The description does not do it justice. From the expansive gorgeous views during the day to the stars at night so grateful for some peaceful time outside. Meggan was a wonderful host who greeted us warmly upon our arrival. She was communicative as needed. Wouldn't hesitate to come back. Thank you!

Awesome Experience!

Enjoyed it very much! It’s similar to “glamping” so go with that mentality. It’s in a beautiful location…saw lots of rabbits and 3 deer came up to our camp one morning. Meggan is a great hostess and very responsive. I’d definitely do it again!

Amazing views in a vintage airstream! Great time!!

We enjoyed the stay. The airstream was super clean and had a nice feel to it . It was close to town so we could go back and forth no issues. We loved the views. There were so much wildlife! Megan was available with any questions and a caring host. Had a great time bringing Wood Ranch Bbq for family night at the saloon. Great fun and a really nice maintained ranch. Definitely hands down we would rent this airstream again!!

Girls Trip

This airstream was a great location after our long day at the Channel Islands. The views were breathtaking. It was definitely hot in the airstream but cooled off after a couple hours with the AC going. We loved the animals especially their Donkey.

Beautiful Setting and responsive host

This is a lovely natural setting in a vintage Airstream. It was convenient to Malibu and LA and we enjoyed the beautiful setting.

Beautiful views from property

Outdoor space was very cool - beautiful views and nice out door lighting for evenings. Airstream was a vintage model so you need to know that before you go and focus on your experience outdoors. We stayed for a few nights which was fun. Our dogs liked it.

Not upgraded enough

Needs a real shower, locks on doors, Need to upgrade bed, toilet system needs and up grade, window seals need to be redone. The location is fine ,If you like camping it’s fine for you , but Id like the amenities to be more upgraded.- the host was very friendly and showed us around very well. It just wasn’t what we expected.
